I believe the new DualSense is just an update that Sony did with DualShock 4 where they added see through light bar on touch pad. It had other improvements too and lasted slightly longer than my older V1 DS4. They updated it just when the PS4 slim was released. Same thing here too albeit after the Slim PS5.

For the Dual Sense I’ve already swapped the battery to a 4500 mah battery that is even bigger than the ps3’s battery that last for about 16 plus hrs depending on controller settings
Be careful about buying batteries because those cheap tend to not have a long life span. Not saying this person bought that but just something to note.

The PS1 version of Alone in the Dark A New Nightmare is better than the PS2 version. It has better sound quality,framerate and loading times. The PS2 version was a half-assed port of the PC version. It has very compressed sound that often skips and there are areas with no sound at all. So I'm happy it's the PS1 version.

I worked for best buy, we used to use copy pasted listings before we got all specs hammered out for the product. They likely have a sku for it but no full specs, made the listing public by accident but i wouldnt rely on that being the final specs of it.
I've only been using my Dual Sense for a little over a year and it starts giving me a low battery warning at about 5 hours of continuous play. 12 Hours would definitely be exceptional as far as I am concerned. My Dual Shock 4 only made it to around 6-8 hours when new and now I am lucky to get 4 hours out of it after using it for 8 years. My Razor Barracuda X headset consistently gives me 40 hours. Sure it isn't running any haptic motors, but I would think if a headset can give me 40 hours of play, then a controller should be able to give me at least a 4th of that.
It can be so frustrating to read any channel's comments that covers a console manufacturer because there is always a handful of dorks that feel the need to tout fanboy notions and shout "__ sucks, __ rules!!" It would be hella neat to have older back catalog games from the publishers to make their way to other platforms, I know some people see it as a boon to have those older games as exclusive, but I would be hard pressed to say it wouldn't be incredibly nice for the vast majority of people. Maybe keep it to "dead" IP if it's that much of a hangup.
it would be nice if they fixed the drifting issues on the controllers...ive never had an issue with the DS4..and I beat the hell out of those..ive taken the dualsensse apart twice and blew air at it..would fix it for a little bit and then the drifting would come back...with a price of 70 bucks, it really should be addressed.
i replaced my Dualsense batteries with 3500mah and i'm getting around 20h now i don't know if the battery is really 3500mah but it holds pretty good haven't had any issues and the 20h battery time is consistent
I'd prefer it if they just continued The Last Of Us series with an entirely different story. If they don't make big changes, it's going to suck and mainstream people will stop watching after the 3rd episode if not sooner.
Nobody wants Sea of Thieves, but Hellblade 2 since the original was a PlayStation exclusive for some time. Giving Bethesda free reign to continue developing PSVR2 games like the next Elder Scrolls.
While it makes sense for MS to keep some titles as exclusive, just as Sony does, it also makes sense to them financially to allow a selection of titles to be multi platform as well. While MS is not exactly struggling, and game pass is obviously doing well due to it being on PC as well as console, the fact that Phil Spencer has already suggested that MS has lost this round in the console wars, they obviously wanna recoup some losses. Even if they do timed exclusives on Xbox, that would still make sense to them from a business perspective. Keep Activision multi platform but keep Bethesda exclusive. One brings in the big bucks with COD, the other attracts new customers to MS if they wanna play popular franchises like Fallout and Elder scrolls.
How does Xbox announce they are bringing the games to PS5? Do they allow Sony to market them in a State of Play? Do they announce it in an Xbox Direct or do they just shadow release? So my PS plus essential expired. I made a Taiwanese account and purchased the PS Plus on that account. It was 1578 NTD which is about fifty-one US. The instant my Taiwanese account got PS plus I can play online with my US (main) account. Zero hassles.The funny thing is every free game I get I had to use this account to grab and download first. And then I can play it with my US account. Also of course I can't access any of my past PS plus free games.

12 hour battery marketing always been there since 2020. People online are seriously confused and talking false information. I don’t know how people are only getting 6 hours of use. My controller has a year of use and i still get 10 hours. A brand new DualSense can last over 15 hours.
the Lack of experimental eastern style games with PS5 is abysmal all the games feel like safe copy cats . with PS4 at least 1 game every 3 months was always in line and let us not talk about PSVR2 what a waste and the portal .

I don't think the battery life of the Dualsense is the biggest issue about the controller. I think the stick drift is a bigger issue.

It can be so frustrating to read any channel's comments that covers a console manufacturer because there is always a handful of dorks that feel the need to tout fanboy notions and shout "__ sucks, __ rules!!"
It would be hella neat to have older back catalog games from the publishers to make their way to other platforms, I know some people see it as a boon to have those older games as exclusive, but I would be hard pressed to say it wouldn't be incredibly nice for the vast majority of people. Maybe keep it to "dead" IP if it's that much of a hangup.

it would be nice if they fixed the drifting issues on the controllers...ive never had an issue with the DS4..and I beat the hell out of those..ive taken the dualsensse apart twice and blew air at it..would fix it for a little bit and then the drifting would come back...with a price of 70 bucks, it really should be addressed.
i replaced my Dualsense batteries with 3500mah and i'm getting around 20h now i don't know if the battery is really 3500mah but it holds pretty good haven't had any issues and the 20h battery time is consistent
I'd prefer it if they just continued The Last Of Us series with an entirely different story.

When I visited my local BestBuy during the holidays, the PS5s were flying off the shelves. I saw no one carrying a Switch or an Xbox.

While it makes sense for MS to keep some titles as exclusive, just as Sony does, it also makes sense to them financially to allow a selection of titles to be multi platform as well.
While MS is not exactly struggling, and game pass is obviously doing well due to it being on PC as well as console, the fact that Phil Spencer has already suggested that MS has lost this round in the console wars, they obviously wanna recoup some losses. Even if they do timed exclusives on Xbox, that would still make sense to them from a business perspective.
Keep Activision multi platform but keep Bethesda exclusive. One brings in the big bucks with COD, the other attracts new customers to MS if they wanna play popular franchises like Fallout and Elder scrolls.
They need to fix the current PS2 classics on PS5. I can’t even play Manhunt or the warriors on PS5. Also add more classic games with trophy support

How does Xbox announce they are bringing the games to PS5? Do they allow Sony to market them in a State of Play? Do they announce it in an Xbox Direct or do they just shadow release? Is it possible that Microsoft is already putting cogs in the wheel and making good on their supposed threat they might get out of the console market?

So my PS plus essential expired. I made a Taiwanese account and purchased the PS Plus on that account. It was 1578 NTD which is about fifty-one US. The instant my Taiwanese account got PS plus I can play online with my US (main) account. Zero hassles.The funny thing is every free game I get I had to use this account to grab and download first. And then I can play it with my US account. Also of course I can't access any of my past PS plus free games.
I don't have no desire to play xbox games. They can keep that.

12 hour battery marketing always been there since 2020. People online are seriously confused and talking false information.
I don’t know how people are only getting 6 hours of use. My controller has a year of use and i still get 10 hours. A brand new DualSense can last over 15 hours.
God of war being stuck on prime only is definitely going to hurt it.

the Lack of experimental eastern style games with PS5 is abysmal all the games feel like safe copy cats . with PS4 at least 1 game every 3 months was always in line and let us not talk about PSVR2 what a waste and the portal .
