Funny how he lost to a Nolan directed performance the last time he was nominated (nominated for TROPIC THUNDER and lost to Heath Ledger for THE DARK KNIGHT) and is now himself the frontrunner for a Nolan directed film this time around.

I have a lot of time and respect for this man. He is the epitome of going of the rails ending up in prison and then comes back and sorts his life out to become a much loved and respected actor. Well done. Ironic that it's a Nolan film though. Cillian and Robert now lets see Emily do it
