Dear BBC. You have now not only introduced the possibility of a collaboration between David Tennant and Tom Hiddleston, but also given us a glimpse of how hilarious and awesome it would be. Make.This.Happen. You owe us.

GO2 was boring. I think I blame the Yank. And, I'm a Yank. As much as I love Hamm as Draper and as much as I appreciate him desperately trying to yank himself out of the typecasting...you just look at him and expect Draper. Sadly, he will forever cast a Draperesque shadow on any role he tries. I hope he's getting good royalties and just needs to take a perpetual holiday and live it up.
@@anbu1325 The full story goes like this. After the first screen adaptation of Good Omens (where David and Michael star side by side), it was believed that there would be no continuation. After the second season was announced (it aired around 4(!) years after the first), Neil responded with “Wait and see” to any question regarding Good Omens (and I believe the most urgent question concerned the nature of the relationship between the two main characters). As it turned out, by doing that, he was citing an actual line of dialogue between the two main characters from the second season of Good Omens (in a situation that was also relevant to their relationship and the unresolved issues within it). Now, the second season of Good Omens ended on a very tragic note (Shakespeare-level tragedy; seriously, I’ve seen grown men watching it with tears in their eyes) and a deep divide between the two characters at the heart of the story. And now we have to “wait and see” several more years for this to be (presumably) resolved in the third season. So, this was a reference to: 1) Neil’s constant trolling of Good Omens fans, 2) an actual line in Good Omens, 3) the situation in which Good Omens fans find themselves currently. All three are extremely cruel and funny to the same extent. Hope this answers the question :)

A very funny sketch, but the real treat for me was, after so many years, getting to see the doctor’s wife (who used to be the doctor’s daughter but was REALLY the other doctor’s daughter), and by “the doctor’s wife”, I don’t mean the Tardis who was also the doctor’s wife. And if you follow that, congratulations, you are a nerd like me.
I thought this was an intro to a special episode of Staged. This was a hilarious BAFTA opening. Love that Michael admitted he wouldn't be going on stage for an award.
