Amazing, not all people can do crocheting. It's pretty hard for me to do crocheting when I was a beginner. I took longer time to do magic ring than the row crocheting. Thx for the crochet and magic ring tutorial. You gave me a new talent
After spending faaaaaaaarr too long just figuring out how to do the first stitch, ii think I finally figured this out. And boy are my fingers sore from trying to keep that yarn taut with my weak fingies lol. Thank you for the tutorial!!
Ugh I’ve been trying for soo long and I still dont get it ( the part when you get the yarn to go in the ring your hand was blocking that part I don’t get)
during crochet, I always have the issue of not being able to pull through after yarning over. Like, there's not enough slack, but at the same time, if there is, everything slips off my hook. I end up just using my nails to pull the yarn up and over the hook - clearly I'm doing something wrong, but I just can't get the hang of it. Can anyone give me some tips?
Aww keep practicing, and in the meanwhile another way to start amigurumis is to Ch 2, and then do 6 single crochet into the first chain. I show this method at the beginning of my Duck Tutorial amigurumi: ua-cam.com/video/3-MBJ-8_lf4/v-deo.html Also if it's hard to do the first single crochet stitch into the ring, maybe try doing a slip stitch into the 2 layers of the ring first and that might help secure it a bit before you do your single crochet.
I sadly still can’t learn a magic circle and I can’t make it in time to make your duck plushy for Christmas gifts but this one got me farther then the other ones so thank you!
The duck tutorial actually doesn't use the magic circle! It starts the amigurumi by doing 2 chain and then 6 single crochet stitches into the first chain, so you can do it! If you're new to crochet, I recommend watching my "How to Crochet for Beginners" video first and it will help you learn the chain and single crochet stitch, and then you can try the duck tutorial. Good luck!
@@izzyd719 it is easy let me show you: Make an X like ami amour did and released those 2 fingers and you make a loop.Or you can just make a simple ➰ loop on your own to be honest, then hold it how ami amour did it,hold it on your left hand.the long portion should be between your middle finger and index finger and the loop should be hold with the thumb and ring finger. With your thumb hold the loop.the hook should go under (in)the loop and then grab the long portion (where the index finger and middle finger should be holding)and put in inside the circle now you have a loop in your hook but in the circle now this time don't go in the circle, but grab the long portion and put that through the loop(you just made earlier when you put your hook inside to grab the long portion of the yarn). ,Then put your hook inside and grab the long portion of the yarn and put it in the circle then this time don't go in the circle but grab the long portion of the yarn(wrap it around your hook) you should have 3 loops the first loop should go under those 2 loops and you will make a stich and repeat then pull the tail and you made your circle I hoped this helped:3
