That JDAM was insane
2000 lbs most likely
Oh yeah, I think I seen a finger flying through the air.... Maybe it was a lower intestine? Hahahahaha buzzard food!
I wish I were young again...I would join up just to be able to fly the A-10. What an awesome weapon.
that was most likely an F-15E or F-16C, not an A-10
@@Minutemman Probably a B1 Lancer, they did more CAS than any other airframe, and we're the best too. Better than A10s too
@@PBMS123 maybe for a single bomb, I would imagine it to be a light aircraft, unless he was doing CAP for any nearby friendlys.
@@Minutemman True, but it's not abnormal for a single JDAM to be dropped for a single CAS engagement. While loitering for all coalition/ISAF forces.
The use of "heavy bomber" CAS has changed doctrine on CAS in the US military because of how devastating and effective it is with PGM, like JDAM guidance kits.

Appreciate you for your service and bringing back extra when you don't have to.
That crackling sound right before the bomb impact, is actually the bomb breaking the sound barrier. I've heard this on test impacts. It sounds like you're standing close to a lightning strike. Just that alone scares the crap out of you.
"War is not the awnser"
It's a question and the awnser is yes
you know, after watching a bunch of videos where they are hiding in grass or trees, I can't help but think that napalm needs to make a comeback.
Hell no. No one deserves that death.
DANIEL PRIETO dude have you seen what they do to Americans... fuck em! let the fires of hell rise up to meet them half way
J.A.Ratt85 You damn right I have seen what they have done! I was there for 4 Years! But does it make us better than them to Bomb them with Fire?! Hell no! NO ONE Deserves that Death.
DANIEL PRIETO so what you are saying is we should just spray them with bacon fat and let them take care of it... gotcha! *wink
J.A.Ratt85 If we had to worry about human waves sure, no problem. But when you can drop a JDAM pinpoint in between 2 trees to take a dozen zealots to their paradise who needs napalm. We have used plenty of FAE Aka Thermobaric type weapons like BLU95s and 96s on caves. We even use Thermobaric SMAWs and Hellfires. FAE often don't look like much but to be on the receiving end, you don't want it be somewhere else.
Lol I love this channel, not only for the awesome combat videos but also for the comment wars. This channel seems to be almost #1 for these little UA-cam arguments!
that will give them a hell of a headache if they even survived that
That Jdam.. Just incredible
This brings back memories
For those who missed it earlier!

close call yeah
That was badasses!
The rounds from the A-10 gun run travel faster than the speed of sound, you hear the rounds exploding then you hear them being fired. Kinda like dying before you hear the bang of a sniper rifle... cheerful, yeah?
awesome explosion at the end
Wow when the JDam hit awesome
yeah you're absolutely right. we work together as a group to provide safety, every nation brings something different to the table.
Félicitations pour ça.
God bless these troops!
i subscribed today been whatching you for 6 months
pure awesome.
Badass video
Great vid any chance of making longer ?
the jury must of had a live feed. amazing.
This is great stuff! Rowan A. Salter
good luck buddy
Nice hit.
Badass can't wait till 18
That's some danger close
Video like these makes me proud of this country.
it depends on what they want them to do. regular force would go on patrols and take out anything they need to along the way and sometimes be put on missions. SF would be sent on missions specifically. like to go take out an enemy compound
lights out-hammer time
The thing is, moving freight by water is about 100 times more efficient than moving it by rail, and even more efficient than moving it by truck. That is figured on cost of fuel per mile to move a certain tonnage. I didn't do the figuring--the experts did. I just read it years ago. Thought I would pass it on to you.
Cool!
From what i have read it cost about $25,000 USD per JDAM.
Man I'm glad I called that guy...
God damn do I love jdams!! SF troops THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF THE THINGS THAT GO THUMP AT NIGHT!
Those machine guns were having a good conversation.
wish i could have got my hands on those, but i was stuck with M4, M249, and M24B. i liked my M4 granted i took care of it. i also prefer built to last like the Enfields, Mausers, springfields, and Mosin -Nagnats. when it comes to firearms its really a personal choice.
The strongly cooperative aspects of war are the very dim light that keeps everyone alive and going.
Sick em
Nice
Here here!
Not only that the reconstruction task also built them hospitals and schools, the people loved them for it. The moral is we are not only over there for war but to help the people.
The JDAM was............ DA BOMB MAN! :)
That JDAM was hella close wow
cool vid , i would like to see a-10 footage more , if you got it tho
The Airwolf theme would have made this vid that much better
AK-47's maybe not be the most aesthetically appealing weapons in some peoples opinion, but the reliability and power of them is undeniable. The main reason for it's overall reliability is it's "sloppiness" in it's bolt. As much as I enjoy fancy new guns, the old school ones are great all around.
everyone should get a camera on their helmet, it'd help military training so much
1:19 guy just sitting there chilling
Well, that escalated quickly.
There actually is alot of rules. Rules of engagement, Geneva convention, etc
badass
GET SOME!
dam Funker is been time you haven't posted a video
Hell Yeah...Get Some!
In the (About) section there is some info hinting to "an ongoing documentary of the war in Afghanistan through first hand experience". Can you elaborate in more detail as to what the goal of this project is, and what more we can expect?
I think he means that he chose to be an 13F which is a Fire Support Specialist.
Yes.
Go ARMY!!!
(which probably won't ever happen because of the AK's reliability shits on the M4 and M16's reliability) then all squad members can easily replace parts without having to go through complications like, one squad member only has Saiga-12 parts, ETC.
WOW!
I feel the same
Regiment im joining is off on the last tour of afghan next year hope i get to go
bring the good intro and outro back!
All I know is if you had these cameras at d-day 1944.....its crazy to think about what that was truly like
Never used to be, but these are special forces so most likely have limitless area to work in.
You don't fight a war just to win, you fight a war because you know it's right.
There was a mark on my screen and as I reach to clear it off the JDAM hit and my little mark didn't bother me any more..
There's a huge difference between the roles of conventional and unconventional forces. They're not meant to reveal everything other than simple firefights.
I was not aware of the way these things worked in the military (and as many I've always been curious)...now that you're here...I am curious...do soldiers have to buy these sights and grips? or can they just ask for them in the armory?
amen
In the words of Harry Dresden "I hate fair fights. They are too easy to lose."
He does have a point even tho he does seem like a cod player
Hey correct me if Im wrong but the Cobra is just a slimmed down, armored Huey right? And an Apache is a beefed up Cobra? So by that logic an Apache is essentially a highly modified Huey?
Ain't that a pretty sight
^^^^ look kids, someone thats educated on the subject and not ignorant. Very rare on youtube
It's sad that you can't see these things.
It was made like "millions" AKs also AKs are very easy and cheap to obtain. Anyways, all respect to You, If You have been deployed! Thank You!
FUNKER i know you work your ass off to get theese videos and upload them for us but could you please upload some Air Force phootage i'm curios to see what they do on their typical days. Thanks.
I find it surprising on how many people expect the military to be 100% accurate on their intelligence and tactics, ignoring the fact that there is always human error in plenty of factors which could lead to collateral damage...not sure why though...
no no you misunderstood. im saying its a war for oil, and by saying how you get to work i meant gasoline/diesel. i didnt mean to say we're the "superman" of the world, just saying i think oil is the real reason
The AN-94 issued to special forces can penetrate body armor in one pull of the trigger.
No, I think its multi national in the area.
thank god for air-support. Ooh Rah!
By the way i love ya channel and the comments by all and i apologise for the bad spelling or incorrect word use save those comments but if theres something i dont see about our country please tell me ?
cool
They are supressing... waiting for that ending BOOM. Clearly.
snap crackle pop...BOOM
the reson why we are struggling so much is because insurgencies are the hardest type of warfare in the modern world as we dont know who the enemy is and where they are located they use hit and run tactics with their IEDs and ambushes also if we were at war with any other modern professional military the war would have been over a long time ago as that is what our military more suited to fighting
0:53 HE GOAAAWWNNNEE
i know , but some new footage would be nice :)
if we all got along we would all be one giant nation edging for space exploration
war is not about fighting fair. its about achieving the cause.
yeeeeeeeee sweet
1:19 nuff said
how often are there gun fights?
you could...people already have and possibly still build custom AK-47's at their homes and stuff lol...
but I believe the Russians have improved the old AK-47 and have made new models of the weapon (I believe the ones seen with many middle-eastern countries and China though are the old school AK-47's) while Russia is the one with the most recent ones.
this reminds me of soldier front 2 on steam lol
When in doubt...call air support.
