Your tutorials are the best. I like that they're SHORTER than other channels' videos on the same subject.

Glad you like them mate, and sorry they are so long still.. BUT I am actually working on more instant tutorials, I already made 2 "instant tutorials" and I intend to make them about 5 minutes long, so check them out now and stay tuned for more!

One big HE cram will pop that tank. Won't even have to hit it directly just land on the ground next to it. A layer of stone or metal will not hold up to that. Putting your turret next to the AI with only a single layer of metal like that can be very dangerous cause if the turret explodes it may take the rest of the tank with it. APHE is not going to do a whole lot at that size. You would get much better results with hesh. The exhausts you have there are going to be weak points in the armor, you can use the ducts in the air tab and use the heavy armor ones to cover them. The wood that you have lined the inside with is still going to spawn fragments and will most likely take out the engine after being hit by hesh or heat. You need a proper spall liner. Something to catch the hesh fragments off the wood or heat fragments. The center of mass seems very high and I think it has a good chance to roll over on its side.

The tank is so small I had trouble fitting anything in it, should have opted for applique panels instead of wood lining inside. APHE is pretty useless at this size i noticed. Believe there is stone and metal between turret and ai, but for this size the option is to put ammo beside turret instead... Don't think that is much better for explosiveness. Smart with airducts, forgot that for exhausts. But tbh a big HE cram would pop most things this size if its not covered with HA, but since it's somewhat fast hopefully crams miss it. Perhaps I could do a follow-up tank tweaking tutorial for this model.

@@GMODISM you really need to invest in heavier materials. You can make an entire tank hull out of heavy armor because you don't need to worry about weight as much. At least make the bottom out if it because from what I could tell in your video your AI is just sitting on a few beams of stone (it would also lower your center of mass). A cram doesn't need to hit it directly to kill it just be close enough to have the AOE to kill the stone blocks. If your worried about costs then just use HA slopes. They have stats better then that of metal as far as armor class and health and half the cost of a full beam (or if you want to go really cheap use the 4m square corners which are 25 mats per block and somewhat better than metal). You could also use HA slopes around your ammo engine and AI and it would greatly increase the survivability. Also the slopes create air gaps that would really reduce the effectiveness of heat and hesh. Also the land AI is garbage. In the real world the largest part of the tank is usually the front and they keep that facing the enemy as best they can. You can use the point at AI and two acbs to accomplish that provided the wheels are set up correctly.

@@Damaddok82 Thanks for the tips, tried to implement that with my own improvements for a upgrade tutorial, and it did increase survivabillity a lot! However it was hard to make point at AI work like I wanted to, not sure if I messed up or if it's a bit broken for tanks.

@@GMODISM you need to use one of the plug and play cards namely the point at hover card (at least that's what I think it's called). Also you need to have the wheel respond to complex controls and set up 2 acbs to use them when the ai want to make the tank yaw.
I have a tutorial video on how to set it up. I can link it to you if you want to see how it works.
