THANK YOU very much for the video and demonstration. You really put it across on the benefits of having one of these little beauties. Maybe it is a novelty, but like you said; "better than a sharp stick"...Thanks again.
it's a nice try at a last, last defense. most attackers won't know it's a single shot. so it's better than a sharp stick. giving it a second barrel would make it more desirable. i have a 21A and a PT-22. if i get another pea shooter, it'll be a NAA revolver, getting 5 shots out of the same size.

A factor of this gun that most people don't take into consideration is concealment. Not for the size of the weapon, but the fact that it doesn't look like a gun. That could prove important in situations where you might be disarmed of any of your weapons that you had concealed- this firearm could be missed
If you're getting disarmed of a regular handgun, you're getting disarmed of this as well. It's getting picked up on a metal detector, I'm sure most high end security is aware of it. Its for novelty only. I'd rather just stick someone with a pocket knife in a self defense situation.
@Matt C I don't imagine a thug on the street regularly carries a metal detector. If they got the drop on you and pulled your standard sidearm off you, it could lull them into a false sense of security and give your incognito weapon an opportunity.
I agree in limited situations. Seems like something someone would keep in their desk at work or something. If you open it up to grab a file or something and someone (a client or coworker) sees it, it doesn't look like a firearm if someone gets a fleeting glimpse of it. I can see a few people breaking some company policies with this. I wouldn't personally buy one, but I would think it's most appealing to people who are not supposed to have a firearm somewhere.
You can still count on an extra 100 fps. Then it just depends on the projectile weight as to how much more energy you're getting, but yeah... you do lose a lot of the advantage by having the bullet exiting a shorter barrel.
@@rodneyws1977 I wish people would consider cost vs. benefit more than they do though. If the actual gain is important enough to them then fine. However, too many buyers simply fall into the "magnum" trap without doing research. Part of the research being 3X the price. Oh well. It's their money. 😀
Understand that if you work for a company that does not allow carry on site, and employs metal detectors, you could disguise this as a cellphone, or stick it in a wallet. Perfect active shooter defense. "Hides around corner and waits for threat".
Pretty good for when you want to carry but don't want to scare off people. Plus it never hurts to carry one more gun even if it a single shot. But mostly because of the novelty. In fact mainly for a go to hell bag.
Woah... that gave me an idea. There is a grenade launcher shell call the Hornets nest that sgoots 9-12 22lrs at once. The flashlight shooting say... 6, to resemble a 6 LED light, at once.... id like my chances
1 that would play too much into the hands of gun ban activists. 2 the purpose of conceal carry is to preserve life, not to end it. Optimally, you never have to use your gun to take a life, even if you are forced to draw it. If you carry a weapon with the mindset of using it to kill someone... I find that concerning.

6:08 excuse me while i whip this out
That’s when you play “Hey!, Look over there...” to buy time to get this thing ready to fire.
THANK YOU very much for the video and demonstration. You really put it across on the benefits of having one of these little beauties. Maybe it is a novelty, but like you said;
"better than a sharp stick"...Thanks again.
Neat, but does it take glock mags?
On weekends.
@@22plinkster haha love u dude
It is a 22 and it is a single shot
The sound of this video is fantastic
it's a nice try at a last, last defense. most attackers won't know it's a single shot. so it's better than a sharp stick. giving it a second barrel would make it more desirable. i have a 21A and a PT-22. if i get another pea shooter, it'll be a NAA revolver, getting 5 shots out of the same size.
There was one thing I was shocked about this clip. It was not even that gun. I was used to this that guns in US could be pretty clever. What shocked me was 5:16 when you explaining direction by terms of driver side and passenger side as something more obvious to the left or right. And no, I'm not from Britain. ;)
Interesting video. Any quirks about pulling spent cartridges? A derringer I carried years ago was a pain without an ejector.
Draws firearm, assembles and fires an accurate shot in 2.5 seconds "idk how quick that was"...dude you're faster than most dudes with a .45 in the chamber haha
Oh did he mention that "it packs a punch"
It’s like a little puppy. It’s so cute and I must have it
Interesting, but I'll stick with my NAA Sidewinder in .22 WMR, as a back-up to my CCW pistol.
*_Take a drink every time he says "packs a punch"_*
This guy should be sponsored by cci

If you buy two there's a nunchuck modification for your backups back up.
Rumor has it that it “packs a punch” 🥊
dcb1138 iv'e been hearing that around town too
this gun came from the 1990's Aeon Flux animated cartoon on MTV
$400 dollars for this, no thank you.
Oh hell no..paid $417.00 for a brand new, S&W .380 bodyguard with a green laser built in..better in every way, not to mention 6+1 on tap.
What a stupid impractical gun.
Well at a shopping mall/ school massacre it’s probably a good thing. The people will have a chance to run like fuck!
Amazingly, our Canadian RCMP intercepted a shipment of these prohibited weapons. It was recently shown in all our news.
If this had a two shot capacity then it would actually be a serious bit of kit
Yeah but it would be a over and under Derringer but this is the cool store rounds it's smaller and stealth factor appeal this had going..
@@BitchyBoxxy it needs a rethink , the key benefit is that it doesn't print , it looks like a mobile phone , it would be better if it had a two shot capacity but as a sealed unit , with no easy reloading . That would be more useful for self protection.
I got one of these little things, the threaded 1, when people see this thing folded up they have no idea what it is, that’s exactly how I like it, I kinda wanna get a suppressor for it just for giggles, also you can get a red dot on it but that’s kinda much, I’ll keep it stock so the disguise doesn’t make it too obvious when I’m in certain places, I see people saying they’re $400, they are not. Not all work places let you have firearms in company vehicles so 🤷♂️ I’ve always said it’s either me or them. It’s perfect for someone who does lots of traveling like myself & where i live there’s some really sketch areas…what the boss doesn’t knows doesn’t hurt me, even if it’s not much it’s something until i get home where i keep my bigger guns.
Yeah but can you put a bump stock on it and skulls?
I know your joking but there would be no reason because it is only single shot
Yes.
@@marshakrebs4348 yep that was the joke...
Marsha Krebs You knew he was joking...but still took it seriously.
@@Icutmetal the real joke is so called suppoters of the second amendment are fine with the orange man telling you that you lost your bumpstock privilege and if he wants he will take your guns before you face a court the first president since Lincoln to try to suspend habius corpus and talk about just how great he is
That new 22,is great.
I think their motto should be " ITS TIME TO PAY SOME DEBTS"
Quiet kid at school lunch: *do you take cards?*
Last line of defense in a mass shooting I can see that being a resource
Very effective against a body-armored shooter with a semiauto assault rifle
If 22plinkster had a business card, this would be it.
yago1078 that would be really expensive getting a carton of 1000! $400,000!
Seems like it would be perfect for a snake load.
Plinkster, you need to have a video game made after you. Including trick shots, target shooting, and shooting carpenter bees.
Holly fireball Batman:) Thanks Plinkster!
From what I've read, .22 mag doesn't have nearly as much advantage over .22 lr in a handgun as it does in a rifle.
Id nickname it "the noisy cricket" lol

Lol

Fuck I miss that game
Understand that if you work for a company that does not allow carry on site, and employs metal detectors, you could disguise this as a cellphone, or stick it in a wallet. Perfect active shooter defense. "Hides around corner and waits for threat".
As a white guy, I can finally carry my "black card"
sino8r2 STFU
Pretty good for when you want to carry but don't want to scare off people. Plus it never hurts to carry one more gun even if it a single shot. But mostly because of the novelty. In fact mainly for a go to hell bag.
Not trading my man card for a LifeCard.
You have to give it style points for it's stealth feature, but for a lot less money you can get a 5 shot NAA .22 lr revolver. No assembly required.
I'd like to see something cylindrical that looks like a small flashlight.
Woah... that gave me an idea. There is a grenade launcher shell call the Hornets nest that sgoots 9-12 22lrs at once. The flashlight shooting say... 6, to resemble a 6 LED light, at once.... id like my chances
been waiting for that threaded model for sometime now.
Did you know it packs a punch?
And its loud!
This is great if you are looking for something to lose interest in after one trip to the range.
Deathcards would be so much better for the name. How else would you let Charlie know who did it?
1 that would play too much into the hands of gun ban activists.
2 the purpose of conceal carry is to preserve life, not to end it. Optimally, you never have to use your gun to take a life, even if you are forced to draw it.
If you carry a weapon with the mindset of using it to kill someone... I find that concerning.
I see what you did there, good one! even though some people didn’t get it... (see comment above)
