  • Genius synth designer Andrew Fitch from Nonlinearcircuits appeared at CV Freqs, the London Modular Meet via Skype from his workshop in Perth, Australia.
A couple of days beforehand, I (Tom from Music Thing Modular) did this test interview with him to check the whole system worked. We talked about chaos, clutter, the amazing Perth DIY scene and the best way to get started with his modules.
You can buy Andrew's modules from his site:
    nonlinearcircuits.blogspot.com...
or from Thonk in the UK:

Triple Sloth is one of the greatest modules in Euro. And that shed must get damn hot in summer.

Realised I wasn't clear about cellF, the neural synthesizer. It is the brain-child of Guy Ben-Ary, his cells are used to obtain the neurons, the body was designed & built by Nathan Thompson, I did the neural interface and synth with a lot of input from Darren Moore. Website is here - guybenary.com/work/cellf/

Thanks to both Tom and Andrew, that was great! I’d love to see (or just listen to) Andrew going through each of his modules and just saying a bit about each one, like he did with the Giant B0N0 and the Brain Custard. I definitely need more chaos in general and more NLC in particular.

Two of the nicest people in modular together (albeit remotely). Very cool to see where it all happens Andrew. :)

Aha, this was super interesting thanks very much folks. The Squid Axon was the fifth or sixth? module I bought so it was great to hear from Andrew and learn more about his take on modules 👍

Delay No More is a killer - as an effect, but also as a voice for feedbacked drone or textures.

The Brain Custard CV version sounds potentially interesting, but unfortunately there seem to be no demos of it.

which role are Andrew's dogs playing in the modules design?

Pretty sure it´s the dogs they design the circuits. Andrew just steals its.
