Chevy Cruze Oil Life Screen Reset

To reset the oil life screen on you Chevy Cruze after completing an oil change, follow the steps provided in the video. All functions used to alter menu screens are used with the left lever which is also the turn signal lever.
#1 Place key in ignition and turn to the "On" position
#2 Press the menu button to get into the "Vehicle Information" screen
#3 If not initially on the oil life screen. Use the "Scroll/Tab up or down" button to cycle through screens. Other screens you may see would be tire pressure and battery volt screens.
#4 Once on the oil life screen, press and hold the "Set/Clear" button on the side of the lever to prompt the reset screen.
#5 Use the "Scroll/Tab up or down" button to tab up.
#6 Once the word "yes" is highlighted, press the "Menu" button to reset and your done!

For my model, these steps worked:
1. Turn car all the way on
2. Hit menu, and scroll using the wheel until you’re on the oil page
3. Hit “SET/CLR” button on the end/tip of the stick used for your turn signal (yes, that is a button).
4. Use the scroll wheel to highlight the “yes” on your screen
5. Hit the SET/CLR button again to select “yes”

Engine oil. Most cars do not have a transmission oil life light.
