Awesome! I bought a couple fobs off Amazon and Ace Hardware cut them both for the price of one ($25.00) and this video was so easy. The guy would've charged me another 20 to do it himself

Can confirm this worked like a charm!! Bought a fob off Amazon and programmed it super easy. Saved lots of money!

I had a replacement fob that was already programmed. I replaced the battery and nothing. Tried this and now both remotes are working. Thank you for posting this information.

Thank you! I only had one cut. So I took pin out started for 5 seconds or dings then took the old key and put in it the new fob then it started right up and connected the new fob.

The Chevy dealership charges $99.83 for the key and $195.50 to program it here in Oregon 🤬

Thanks for posting this. For some reason, when I do this I am able to get the car to start with the new key once, but even while it is running the dash reads “service theft deterrent system”. When I turn the car off, the buttons on the fob do not work and the new car will not start the car again. 2011 Chevy Cruze.

Lmao! I paid someone to do it and they kept messing with it. Turning the key to on off in out on off drive neutral all kinds of shit. Making it seem like it was complicated and they fooled me

Hey man I just gotta say thank you! Literally did it in 1-2 mins of seeing this video!

I rarely comment on videos but i have to thank you for this. The dealer in Los Angeles wanted to rip me off for $350 just to program, cost of key and cutting $180. Significant savings to simply buy online and have it cut by locksmith. Thank you
