- This is my mk1 version of a diy kayak dolly made from pvc pipe and fittings. I had investigated a few design and cam up with this design for my Perception Pescador Pro 120. I am happy with the result and already have a mk2 version on the cards that will accommodate storage for the tackle boxes and a bag.
How I fasten the dolly and field test to follow in another video soon!
Great design. Looks sturdy. Thanks for sharing.
very good design!
Hi letun3481, glad you like it!
@@froogyfred577 Hi, have one question. In low position you seat on cockpit plastic or on seat material?
@@kryzhanovskyioleksandr8943 I generally sit on the seat on the high position. I haven't used the plastic cockpit low seat as yet. I find stability good with the seat at the high position but I am not a heavy guy, around 70kg. I would imagine being heaver being seated low would be better but I speak under correction.
@@kryzhanovskyioleksandr8943 I sit on the material seat. If using the plastic cockpit I will recommend getting a lumber support for more comfort.
Hey what length of pipe did you use for couplers between the 45 and 90?
looks great. Comments were turned off on the other video. Where did you get your rudder?
I got it from Canoe and Kayak world in Randburg South Africa. They had the stock item which made the installation easy.
That gray PVC piece you push the tube through for the wheels, what is that called?
That is the reducing bushing. I used a reducer to 20mm, or nearest to the size of the axle you will be using. Easy to drill out to a larger size to get the fit just right.
