How does the burger mount affect the Bluetooth switch on the back? I considered doing it to add in some flex, but I'm worried that the extra height on the standoffs from the o-rings is going to make the Bluetooth switch not accessible. She swaps between Bluetooth & wired pretty frequently, so it's a bit of an issue if the burger mount is problematic I'm going to mod my GF's Anne Pro 2 when I get my friend to millmax for us and I'm considering the following mods: Swap out the switches for lubed & filmed switches (probably Gateron CJs) Swap out the stabilizers for Everglide v3, slap in bandaid for it as well Add in plate foam Add in PE foam switch pads Add in case dampening foam under the PCB PCB tape mod
I didn't have an issue with the Bluetooth switch. It's recessed a little from the burger mount, but it's still accessible. One issue I encountered was the USB-C connector sitting too high in the case and causing some strain when the cable was plugged in. I had to tighten down the the top plate to a point where it wasn't causing any strain. The orings were squished more than I would have liked, but it wasn't worth the risk of damaging the connector. That list of mods would totally transform this keyboard! I'm sure she'll love it.
I didn't do the paper test so I can't tell you for sure. Based on sound and feel though, I think there may have been some light interference with the cherry profile keycaps on the middle row. Barely noticeable to be honest.
You can do that if you have a solder kit, definitely. Just not something the average buyer would do or want to go through, considering there are similarly-priced or cheaper options out there with hotswap nowadays.
That's a tough one. If you're not locked into ICUE, the Keychron Q1 may be a good option to look into with its QMK/VIA support. Besides that, the Feker IK75 is a good budget option without QMK/VIA support.
Do you think stock or modded sounds better? Let me know!
I guess then stock Anne pro xd
Oooooh. Fancy! Love the typing sound especially - always makes you want to type more 😂
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing!
Exactly! It's a good way to boost productivity - you just want to type more all the time.
Thanks for watching!

Do you have any north facing interference due to the cherry profile on the north facing pcb?

wait cant you just desolder the switches and replace it? because i could

@@HarvindG You could also mod in hotswap sockets. However, the price for all the sockets would drive up the total cost of the keyboard.
K, i have a big question for u, do u know a hot swappable rgb keyboard with the f-keys, none of the stuff on the right that can be modified with ICUE?

@@HarvindG Ok, thanks I'll check it out
-I'll be patient, maybe they'll release a new keyboard before it's my birthday...
@@HarvindG By the way: i just found another keyboard that has exactly that BUT no corsair software
@@WitherSweat What's the keyboard you found?

what keycap set are you using?
GMK Dark Olivia (PBT) clones from AliExpress. Hit me up if you need a link.
@@HarvindG Please do send me a link. They look great!
@@hikariox Thank you! Added a link to the keycap set in the description.
Weirdly stock sounds way better. Modded just became clackier.
I always thought I was into thock. Your comment just made me question whether I'm actually more into clack. Thanks for watching!
