the pinkish plastic thing with posts @15:15 is a bow maker. it comes with a little instruction book on how to wrap ribbon around each one of those posts and when you are done you lift off a bow, you know, like for wrapping a christmas present!
The little Robie robot bank is from radio shack. I found a way to clean battery compartments. Get a can of battery terminal cleaner, take a paper towel and tear off a corner and stuff it in the corner that has the corrosion. Then spray the cleaner on the paper towel, soaking it well but take care not to get in other openings. I let mine sit for about 30 minutes then take a screwdriver and rub the paper towel and then dry out if needed repeat again. I've had really great results!

That lady had exquisite taste! I wish Gus had footage for us as well. Did he save anything for himself? If somebody else bought that house, they might have shoveled everything into a dumpster. I wish I knew more of the back story and how this came to be …. All the true treasures among the most bizarre amounts of human trash. There is certainly a story there. Thank you for bringing to light the most beautiful of treasures. Thank goodness it wasn’t just bulldozed and hauled away to a landfill without anyone ever knowing of the all this hidden beauty.

Old Curiosity Shop on UA-cam bought a hoarder house and showed the treasure hunt. Turned out to be the house of a woman who'd been a famous potter. She was still alive when they were doing this work (she has since passed) and said the hous was never lived in, but used as storage. It was crammed like this one. Might this be the equivalent of a garage or storage space? Doesn't look like anyone could have lived there.

I tried to get my husband to bid on a house that came with all contents but he did not want to. I think it would have been fun to go through and see what treasures it hid.

I’m wondering if the original home owner had a severe anxiety that disappeared when she purchased something beautiful, but would return to anxiety soon after the exhilaration of buying something new was over. Most of her items look new and unused. It was the thrill of possession.

Been sick in bed for 2 days..Xmas Eve and Xmas terrible gall bladder pain.. tomorrow headed to the doc..pretty sure they are going to tell me it's time to remove it.. cause this pain is pretty bad..watching this helped me to at least watch something to try to enjoy the day

That gooseneck goose lamp is everything! Lol. It reminds me of a George Kovacs piece, which is worth well over a thousand dollars in good condition.
