When I watched the first episode, I couldn’t watch it, because I was too scared of spiders, even the ones that didn’t exist. Now I can’t wait for a new episode, I stopped asking my BF to deal with the spiders in the house and I am no longer scared of them, all thanks to lovely Lucas ❤️

those (some) don't represnt the majority of them, please stop rationalizing Phobia of spiders, the word Phobia itself means (Irrational Fear), and if we think about it logically, spiders are extremely helpful to humanity, preventing pandemic outbreaks in many ocassions, you can read about the spiders who prevented malaria outbreaks during floods of Pakistan.
Saying that, I al so do not think it is fair to criticize you for your Phobia, you do not choose what to fear, and I also have my own irraional fears that I can't get over, like fear of butterflies, I just don't spread hate about them.

I actually try not to kill spiders. Whenever I see one in the house I trap it in a glass cup, slide a piece of paper under it, flip and swirl it till I can put it outside.
I have serious Arachnophobia, I'm scared sh*tless :)) but I can't kill them either. I just try to let them be and just eyeballing them from the other corner of the room :))

Yep! I bought one. And he's sitting on my shelf keeping my Pikachu plushie company.
He was a limited time release that sold out quickly. He was meant to talk but they had issues with the vocal box, which is why most didn't get him until December. They will probably make a second version and release it

My history teacher once told us that she's scared of spiders (even the ones that are one millimeter)...
The lesson after that we showed her lucas, and now he's the only spider that she likes.
She used to kill all the spiders that she saw during class by hitting them with a book, now she lets us bring the spider outside to the bushes that are on the schoolyard when she sees one.
It's not much, but it's enough improvement😏

I have never been afraid of spiders, in big part thanks to reading Charlotte's Web and the Miss Spider books in elementary school. Well, apart from giant spiders who might eat me like acromantulas in Harry Potter of course, but that's the natural "self-preservation" instinct. Lucas the Spider just provides me more reason to love them.

Jumping spiders are so cute and fun to watch. They are in a whole different league to normal big spiders. I’m not that keen on many other spiders (being in Australia)

Except for one occasion at 2 I've never been afraid. I had a black widow tatooed on my chest when i was 45. She now looks like a tarantula 2 of which i have owned. Probably gives a clue to my age.
