Thank you SO much for going in depth into this pedal. Been really chewing on whether or not I want to make this purchase for studio use and this is really helping me come to a decision!
Excellent! That’s entirely why I started this channel to make that I would like to see, to learn about the viability of stuff I’m interested in! So glad you found it useful! Did you decide for or against?
@@TheGuitarEffect you’re a real one for going through the video production process to give this content! Hope it goes wide and draws more attention to you and your music. I have decided: to most likely go for it! Hahah. I can’t turn down the wide range of drive options, it’s like 20 pedals in one, and it will strictly live on my studio desk so I’ll always have it connected via usb. Plus, stereo drives are rare! Now just waiting for Sweetwater to put it back in stock.. lol
Wow man. Thx again for that comment. Trying to g to show the practical applications of gear rather than solely focusing on the same tones everyone tries to get out of these things is really what my channel is about. In that way this is a fantastic choice. For a recording setup it’s fantastic
I can see what you mean about it being too limited for live use, but being a kind of Swiss army knife of drive for studio use. It's interesting for sure, great vid as always gent
Cheers buddy. It’s a curious phenomenon the lack of omission of features that would be super useful live and gfocusing on things that will be most useful for the home based player. Less gigging going on since COVID maybe?🤔
@@TheGuitarEffect I suppose there are also other products that cater for it, especially with modellers being as good as they are these days too. Maybe this was the plan all along to just have a solid studio tool?
Well I suppose if you buy the neuro hub you can control it with midi and recall presets so the capability is there but even then you can’t ever know what preset you’re on (other than what you hear obviously) but i do think the two ins and outs is kinda genius and not a regular thing. It’s a VERY interesting piece of kit for sure.
There is an adaptor cable that replaces the need for the Hub. Also, you can use just 1 input and output to control two separate effects in series A into B, B into A or parallel. Lastly, you can rely on the MIDI controller’s screen or other pedals with screens to know what drives are currently engaged on the LA Lady. Personally I love the Kingmaker’s enclosure best. Cheers.
Hey. Thx for the comment. Appreciate the suggestions. So I’m aware of the cable but it too is unreasonably expensive at about €60. The 6 presets should totally be available via midi with no ads ons. It’s standard practice. However I would say the lack of preset display would suggest to me it’s not meant to be used in that way. If so it’s an acceptable omission. I can’t say I agree about using another pedals display to know what preset you are on. I get the rationale but again if the pedal is intended to be used in taht context it should be able to do it by itself. In my opinion .

@@TheGuitarEffectjust buy a midi controller with normal screen. If you go into midi screen is important for controller
Sounds lush.
Thx for the comment. Indeed it does!
