Just made this. I halved the serving size and substituted red chili pepper with a bit of cayenne powder. Put it over a sautéed kale, roasted sweet potato and roasted Brussel sprouts bowl with sliced almonds and dubliner. Sublime!!!
@@homeh5463 hi!!!! Hmmm idk what’s the best way to describe it. I suppose like INTENSE sesame seeds hahahah! Like imagine sesame seeds roasted and then as a spread
What's the longest you've kept this in the fridge? Everyone always says use homemade sauces within 3-5 days but that's such a short time, wouldn't something this simple last more like a week or two?
Hey Alyssa, I recently bought the butter flavored coconut oil (nutiva brand) because I remember seeing it is some videos years ago. Do you remember any of the recipes you used it in?
It is a fabulous sauce that makes a great meal even more so :) Still not got the idea of cooking Tofu .It really is awful when I try to make crispy and in a word horrible .Your's looks great .No idea why the difference but it is one product I've quit Shame but what to do ..Any idea why ..
I had the same problem. Use a tofu press. The best one I have found is the tofu xpress. I press it in the fridge overnight, drain and cook. Comes out perfectly crispy.
@@EQ9962 Thanks so very much .On my must buy list .Since am talking to a tofu expert ..which kind do you use most .Not meaning brand , but soft , silky etc Have done the lot and am determined .🌟🍷Cheers will keep you posted .The herb crusted Tofu looks superb .
I use whole foods extra firm. Oh she glows has a couple of cookbooks and an app. I followed her method to learn how to cook tofu. Once drained i toss with salt, pepper and garlic. Heat a cast iron skillet with a bit of evoo and add tofu when hot. That way tofu does not absorb the oil. After cooking i will toss with a bit of sauce for flavor. Good luck. Once you get it it makes tofu so much better... cheers!!!
This recipe was a game-changer for me. We’ve used this recipe multiple times a week for almost a year. Always use extra firm tofu, and to make it even more versatile, you can either cube it or break it into “chik-fil-a” style chunks. You are literally just coating it in liquid aminos, then nutritional yeast, and roasting it on a pan with a silicone mat. I sincerely hope this helps. frommybowl.com/crispy-tofu-recipe/
I tried this and it was truely aweful. I like alot of things but no matter how I tried to tweak this, it was terrible! The tahini is very bitter. Is there a way to fix that, or is that the point?
I like your uses for this sauce, but it's been around a long time, minus the flaked peppers. However I would just like to say that this is definitely not oil free - tahini is the oil along with the pulp of the sesame seed - basically a seed butter, much like a nut butter.
Three minute intro could easily be edited to one minute. The shorter your video the more people will watch. No need to say the same thing more than once or twice at the most.
Great pity you did not give us the quantities in the video as I do not like "cookies" so therefore cannot get the recipe plus it is so much easier if you just give the quantities in your UA-cam video
wow......nice work 2 minutes campaign . whenever you watch any body's video on youtube . please watch it at least for 2 minutes otherwise waste..... we have to support every hardworking and honest youtubers... not those who purchase watch etc.

@@homeh5463 I find it to be very nutty, with a touch of bitterness! But that all gets mellowed out when it's mixed with the flavors :)

My absolute favorite!
I love tahini I eat it with dates but thanks for this recipe I’m going to be trying it out today
I love eating dates with tahini as well. That's the first time I fell in love with tahini.
Hey! My tahini is quite bitter, and that makes it hard to be enjoyable.. do you have any tip/ingredient that could fix that up? Thank yoouuu
It is probably rancid. If not, I would try adding plenty of lemon juice and see if it helps.
Where would you purchase the tahini to spice?
Thanks for the tips
Nice

I hate tahini but ill still watch it hihi
What is the recipe? I can’t find it!
Could you actually change the sisters and set a lemon can you change the alarm
What brand Tahini?
I like the one from Whole Foods honestly. Just their standard 365 brand :)
thinking of using this to replace the "mayo" for tuna salad!
YES! That would be amazing!
Credit to the Middle East for Tahini!

then u just don't like tahini bc tahini is bitter
Certain brands are bitter especially if it’s roasted tahini. It’s best to go with raw unroasted tahini as it is not bitter.
'Without further ado' ... after an intro of nearly two minutes
How do you eat this and not pass out afterwards? Zzzzzz 😂OMG it makes me soooo sleepy

Oil naturally occurs in nuts and seeds of course. But there isn't any oil added to this which makes a much better option
