I passed Core 1 yesterday and I don't think I could have done it without this course. You have a gift for taking the complicated and breaking it down in simple, practical terms. Thank you so much! On to Core 2.
Honestly, you are the best I've come across so far. Your instances and illustrations are elementary, so easy to flow with. Thanks for the in-depthness.
@@chapoaveli714 I used these videos and mike myers practice tests (total seminars). I did have a lot of prior knowledge due to an interest in IT and because I am currently completing a bachelors in networking. Almost a year after A+ and Security+ certification and not a single job offer though :(
I was reluctant to watch because the vid didnt seem very in depth but I was wrong. It pretty much sticks to whats absolutely needed to know for the test but has some really good gems that go beyond that every now and again. Be sure to listen with headphones and not a speaker.
This is awesome i love the way you guys are interactive and exciting. I come from watching professor Messor which is very informal, but not as engaging. great work we need you mad instructor keep going!
Hey so I’m new and I’m currently studying for my A+ core 1 gonna watch all your vids regarding A+ core 1 and 2 but for now I’m going to focus on just Core 1
Rolling up my sleeves right now. This is my first time getting started with A+ after completing the Cisco IT Essentials. I'll be commenting regularly as I progress on your channel, but just so you know now; I appreciate that you made this content available! Love it! 🤙🏾🇩🇪
thank you for the video, my instructor cant teach to save his life. All he does is read powerpoints no explanation, i get it it’s college and thats how it is. But, I have read the text 3 times already and still didn’t retain as much information. You explain it barnie style i wish you were my instructor tbh
Zeros?? Oh I thought they were round boulders and almost straight sticks LOL so glad I found this you break it down super simple outstanding! Thank you!
This was great! Very entertaining and extremely educational! I wish I would have known about this live. Will keep coming back and you have a new subscriber! 💯 Thank you!!!
That's not wrong at all! "technically", you should add all the power requirements and then make sure you have overhead... MY suggestion is "Always buy the largest PSU you can budget"! lol
Wait you play star citizen! I do too! Best pilot in my org. Would love to fleet up sometime, 3.18 right around the corner is so exciting. Running through this first lesson, most of which I'm already familiar with, so I can pick back up on my work routes. Alongside this I'm listening to proffesor mezzer A+ playlist and purchased his practice test book. My dad works as a database admin for Ewing and he purchased CBN nuggets subscription I'm going through now as well for A+. My next step is going to be saving and purchasing a lab test server to set up and configure at home, as well as maybe pruchase an upgraded router to swap my xfinity provided one and configure that as well for practice. Thanks for posting these courses!
Hey good question! The Bronze/silver/gold/platinum/titanium ratings have classically never been included in the CompTIA A+ questions.. just trying to keep it simple!
REally appreciate the video. HOpe you re-do it, and send me a link. I"d like to see it again after the audio is corrected. I'm sure its a good help! Thanks!
For a person who can't afford a physical computer lab or buy old computers to practice repairing computers(software and hardware) are there any Interactive Hands On Software Labs/simulations that you are familiar with that are realistic so that one can practice without breaking the bank getting physical equipment? thanks
Heyy what's good Madd Instructor!! I just subscribed to your channel for the deep dive getting my A+....just one quick question, is all your vids up to date info to take the exams??
Imagine that binary scale... ...32 16 8 4 2 1... That far right binary bit is the ONLY odd number in the entire numeral system... So if I had something like the binary number for 13.. I know the number 13 in binary has to END in a 1 because its an odd number (13 = 1101) Hope this helps~!
hey i saw some video on youtube where it said that i should learn comptia a+ and comptia network+ in order to become like an ethical hacker or something . is that right ?
EEHHH' So A+, Net+ and Security+ give you the BIG foundation you need for ANY IT job... After you master those, you can approach something like eJPT and OSCP for the hacking side~!
LOL The audio gets a LITTLE better! hahaha honestly, I thought I would have like 20 people MAX in class.... our discords at like 1500+ now... thats my fault!! lol

I used to live in a studio apartment that was ALL carpet. Even the kitchen not the bathroom though luckily... I would build PCs for some spare cash, and i never used the wrist straps. I had a piece of cardboard i stood on and grounded myself by touching a toaster i had conveniently close by lmao.
If it will help you, both, hooking up bluetooth to earbuds helps alot. Thanks for the class, and for explaining more about the breakdown of what's on the test and what's not! (Like at 0:45. I was wondering how much of what we learn for the A+ exam is actually ON the exam lol)

I was taught that you want to spec the power supply by having your total computer power be 50-60% of your PSU as that is the efficiency curve.
That's not wrong at all! "technically", you should add all the power requirements and then make sure you have overhead... MY suggestion is "Always buy the largest PSU you can budget"! lol

YUP! as of six months ago!
At 19:26, I’m confused by what you meant that all odd numbers end in a 1 and even numbers end in 0
Imagine that binary scale...
...32 16 8 4 2 1... That far right binary bit is the ONLY odd number in the entire numeral system... So if I had something like the binary number for 13.. I know the number 13 in binary has to END in a 1 because its an odd number (13 = 1101)

Beautiful. Thanks for the prompt response!
hell yea, motivation
Thank you, Mad Instructor! I just had one quick question, do all of your A+ videos cover the entire material for the certification?
It covers MOST of the main bullet points! You should be able to go through the class, take some practice quizzes to sharpen up and go test!
Setting a mark here to pass my A+ before this year ends
Excellent!
Is the content in this globally friendly regarding the CompTIA, I'm based in the UK and wondering if it translates accurately to the UK exam?
It does yes, the exams shouldn't differ as far as I know!
