Taking my core 1 exam tomorrow I appreciate all your help🫂
You got this!
@ just took it and passed with a 720😅 on to core 2!:)
@@SoccerKiller Congratulations!~!
Oh my guy the 3090 so was not the sweet spot
I use certmaster to study.
the way i remember wifi 6 is not actually 10gbps is saying "nine point six for wifi six" its so dumb, but it stuck with me for years thats just how i remember it
Thats a good way to remember~!
Thanks for the analysis! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Gearing up to take my 1102 exam. I really appreciate you for uploading these for free❤❤❤
Very welcome! Glad to help!
Anybody by chance still have those whiteboard notes? I took some of my own but his pictures really help as well
This video is well done. Im taking a course right now and my professor is very intelligent but has trouble simplifying it. Seeing this stuff in action and him explaining it at the same time helped big time.
IM glad we can help!~
Do you by chance still have your white board notes for core 2?
@@Treesurfer I believe they're in our discord!~ There's a "whiteboards" channel
this video had to set a record for the shortest youve ever done lol
HAha straight and to the point~!
@@themadinstructor is this the last video in this series? havent seen anymore uploads in a month
@@willberforce876 Nope we'll continue them soon! Work projects got a little crazy
I would like to start off by saying thank you for your videos, they're very educational and informative. I just love how you break networking down. Your videos is giving me ammunition on my comptai A+ certification exam 220 - 1101
I have a question on the exam. What percentage will be printer questions ❓
@@sanchezmiller8918 Very welcome! I'm glad we can help! The exam is different for each person... someone may get 2 printer questions, while someone else may get 15~!
Mad instructor: can you do some PBQ's 220-1101 exam prep
I literally get giddy when the new vids are uploaded lol, thank you for all your uploads Mad Instruct!
I'm glad we can help~!
I have no audio after the 1:04:40 into the video.
Apparently there was a ten minute gap of no audio for some reason.. my bad!
If wifi channels 1, 6, and 11 do not overlap why do you have to be "furthest away non-overlapping channel"? If you use a channel that others are not using does distance matter? Couldn't you use channel 6, even if channels 1, and 11 are nearby?
Yah that's exactly the idea, you wanna use whichever non-overlapping channel will cause the least amount of interference~!
Really great teaching videos- keeping it as basic as possible! At 46:31 I believe standard DVI does not support audio (analog or digital). The standard DVI-I cable supports both digital and analog video but only one in use at a time. And no audio. Those analog pins are for analog video: Red, Green, Blue, Horizontal Sync, and Ground. However, you can send audio over DVI but only with a DVI to HDMI cable and if the video card supports HDMI audio via DVI, and most modern video cards do.
Very true! I should have specified with an HDMI adapter~!
One of my FB friends recommended this course and I'm glad I listened.
Welcome! We're also recording a new Net+ series in objective order, so keep an eye out for those~!
Aw man , you got NVIDIA love? lol I had the 7900xtx, AMDs drivers were almost a 100 percent then I tried to play no test for the wicked and it was like no way bro. So I night a 4080 instead.
I really did TRY to go AMD! The driver issues were just constant shenanigans for me!
THEN my 3950x all of a sudden started having serious issues managing 64GB of DDR4 out of nowhere.... pfft!~
Don’t forget that in the EU apple has to provide the option to let apps from other sources be installed
I didn't know that! That's awesome!
@@themadinstructor Great videos my dude
I really appreciate all of your hard work. I worry that COMPTIA will come after you though. Please Don't do anything to get in trouble. They are like the Russian Mob.
heh they have no reason to disagree with our classes~! They're free and don't violate any NDAs at all~!
Well I trust you what you say my dude you da man
I thought NFC was 10cm or less not 4cm?
Its odd... one resource will say 4cm.. another says 10.. now I have one that says 6cm... lol
theee one and only mad professor, ive watched the first original core 1 series youve made, now im starting this new series just to revise and solidify my knowledge then im going for the exam, just wanted to say thanks for all the videos youve made for us,,much appreciated and stay blessed brother,i owe you one(a beer of course lol)thank you man!!!
Glad I can help~!
Instead of first i was the 69th view for this video. Thank you!
I appreciate your video, thank you for all the information I’m planning on taking my core 1 this month!!!
Awesome!! Very welcome
Weirded me out....cause I'm also a Shawn... Thought I'd really lost it there for a second...😊

Huh??

After watching your videos and hten watching this review sesh, I have to say that you covered everything in your videos. I did pretty well myself watching them, so thank you for this (and the other videos!)
Very welcome, I'm glad I can help!
Fantastic study... Are you going to update and teach the SY0-701?
Yup I would certainly like to, time permitting!
Thanks for these free videos. I watched your content for A+ and passed that. Working on Net+ now. Thanks for laying things out easy and being real.
Very welcome, I'm glad I can help!
For a person who can't afford a physical computer lab or buy old computers to practice repairing computers(software and hardware) are there any Interactive Hands On Software Labs/simulations that you are familiar with that are realistic so that one can practice without breaking the bank getting physical equipment? thanks
Whenever misero tries to explain anything whatsoever I’m totally lost….
Just keep in mind there are a ton of different approaches to subnetting~!
I love these videos, they are very helpful! The guy that comes in at 3:36:05 ruins the audio for a while.
I think we managed to improve the audio in future videos~! lol
Thank you for every video. They are a master piece. Ur a real G
Thank you! I'm glad I can help!
Will you be making more 220-1101 course videos since this stops at 1.3? I just love the way you explain things first time I could actually pay attention and easily understand everything
Yup~! Our next core 1 will be live in Discord tomorrow!~ (next 3 major objectives)!~ discord.gg/the-mad-instructor-1002400303963971696

Which one am I supposed to start? I'm kinda confused, just go I order in the playlist?
We recorded an older, less formal class (which are the lessons 1-6" basic labels... the new ones we're recording are BY objective... so same material, different format~!
@@themadinstructor okay I see 220-1101 objectives 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 video and I see the 220-1101 complete objectives list review sorry haha which one is to be taken first? I really like your content actually had me engaged, I just want to make sure I start at the beginning
@@kawaiihikari0 So we recorded the lessons 1-6 first... Then later we did an "objective review" for some people who were about to test that next week... Either way, it'll be helpful info~!
@8:15 I couldn't agree more about Zorin , once i got far enough thru Core 1 studies I took apart an old laptop outta my father's closet that was deep six'd and replaced the ram and HD with Crucial ram & SSD and did a clean install using Zorin Linux Distro...
Your vids are truly a fantastic help, been going over them for a couple months, wanted to know what your thoughts would be for them putting a Net + quarantine topology question on my Core 2 test, I was pretty shocked, I missed passing by 20 points, passed core 1 last april tho
What do you mean by a quarantine topology question?
@@themadinstructor they literally put a topology diagram of a bus line set of computers (6 of them) with class A addresses, then a switch and router icons mapping them to 3 server icons named "file" "data" and one I can't remember, with class C IP addresses and asked me which parts to shut down and quarantine them from the rest of the pictured network connections after a " employee downloaded a worm from a file "
@@themadinstructor they had little boxes next to each server icon and computer 🖥️ icon where I could make a mark in the box as "X" to choose which one to quarantine from the rest
@@jong7511that sounds crazy for core 2 Woa
So mad I missed the live …. I’m in Germany and got the time messed up 😩
Of course the mic boom was too close to my face.. sorry I sound like a mouth breather in the mic!

Thank you for all your hard work!!

@@themadinstructor thanks so much. 😭🤞🏽
Thank you for the amazing work you do but i do have a question: when you say block size are we talking 2^(32-network bits) or the last bit of the network id?
The block size is just the distance between Network addresses... the easy way to find it is identifying the last network ID bit.. and wherever that falls on the "binary cheat sheet" of that octet, that's the block size~!
Thanks for the great class! Happy Birthday AI
Wishing you a very happy birthday Al🎉
