It's mot really a f'up unless it goes out the door that way. Anyone who doesn't f'up probably doesn't do much. Good recovery

I'm catching up, Chris. Nice job and a good fixup. Just like in the kitchen: If you cook at some point something is going to go wrong. The trick is to fix it up so no one knows and enjoys the meal. Thanks for another excellent video.

What tooling selection would you recommend to machine clad-welding on a flang? What is the cutting parameters?

How do you get away with the part moving or flexing on you on the thin parts Chris?

Fresh inserts, reduced tool pressure, correct speeds and feeds... experience. Prior f ups reduce the trend of future f ups... but one never eliminates them.

6:53 - Turning an ID +/- .001" would have me sneaking up on it.
9:20 - 8:36 - Damn! Yeah, it happens, but ya hate it!

@@badatheist9948 Ummm... 46% of my machine work is forged round bar. Round, square, hex, flat... all can be forged.

8:35 - "I did manage to feck up one piece" - oh, what a bummer... Just ONE?! You can do much better than that, I know you can... ;-)
