The clarity of the water and the whiteness of the beach was amazing. What a beautiful area. The sheep seemed to be happy with their new haircuts and of course being turned loose again. Due to the remoteness of the area is the wool taken for processing or just left to mulch the land?. The sheep themselves were quite handsome. Cammy this was wonderful to watch video to watch. Thank you.
Love the Hebridean/Shetland sheep wool, am an avid knitter my favourite colour is the Shetland Black, love the variation in the shades. And those horns...so cute! ❤
I am a retired dairy farmer whose had dairy cattle and goats, but never sheep. I love your Scottish burr and get a kick out of your curly mop and energy. I enjoy seeing the different breeds of sheep you feature.
Those things aren't flies. They're buzzards. You didn't cut the line a fly landed on it. The sheep may be almost as gorgeous as Swiss Valais. Happy to see someone rebuilding and preserving the past. Real humans, someone's ancestors, struggled to cart those stones to a house site, to make a safe place to bring up the future. Will we have anything as valuable to leave behind?
AMAZING scenery, you'd never expect the water clarity and white sands that far north of the equator Reminded me of the Isles of Scilly What an amazing experience Cammy Thank you for sharing (or shearing lol) Geoff
Outstanding. Got to say the guy with the blue t shirt with beer in hand and one in his back pocket, reminds me of guys at a wedding reception, with open bar, ordering two at a time.
A trip to Scotland has vaulted to the top 5 on my bucket list, thanks to a sheep shearer and a hoof trimmer! You fellows should be made honorary ambassadors for your country.
Aye Cammy , you dont see Sandi Brock messing about with boats , its refreshing to see the other side of the sheep game with your travels to the various parts of bonnie scotland
The site of the stone buildings deteriorated that once were established homesteads is just chilling sad eerie and beautiful. And what a joy still there not demolished. That is freaking beautiful. The preservation of the main buildings of that past wee community is wonderful which is not a strong enough word really I just can't think of the right one right now...I also see the Dogs doing a great job then the humans seem to bugger it up a bit haaaa. The sheep being herded through the grass my goodness what a beautiful sight that was. And the ending with the sheep running so happy free feeling good without that heavy coat was beautiful. And well worth that shot of cheer in the end boys you deserved it!! Thank you for taking us to this other magical place Cammy. hugs
A stunning and dreamy isle, lovely sheep, adorable dogs, funny gentlemen, fly-coated camera (ugh!) and at the end the sheep say "Wheee...yipeee...yay...wheee...bye see yas!"
Beautiful part of the world, have to take a tour up there sometime. Spent a day up in Scotland buying some ewe's, the farmer drive me round his local area and had lunch with his family. One of the most enjoyable days I ever had.
Aww, they’re like weans being let out of school getting out of the pens! Beautiful sight! Well done 👍🏻 Absolutely stunning bit to be working, can imagine it way back when it was populated…🥰 First I started watching cows feet getting sorted, now I’m watching sheep being sheared…lived in the sticks all my life, but still find it a joy to follow! Thanks guys n girls…I’m Mhairi, btw, and I live in Port William…kinna near Graeme Parker 😆
I love your videos Sir so I will subscribe now. Thank you. I do have a little trouble under standing some of your words. But you would say the same about this old hill Billy of north central Louisiana. I just put on the close caption. lol
Fantastic scenic video of a rare place. That black n mottled wool is worth a fortune here to the fanatic home knitters here, my wife is one All your sheep farming vids remind me so much of growing up on a sheep ranch. Dont miss the backbreaking shearing of the long hours lambing. Great extended family comadere My first three horned sheep, ancient genetics
Absolutely gorgeous scenery and the sheep have a beautiful place to live. Flies were really something. Sheep were so excited after being sheared and let out. They were jumping and running. Awesome. ❤️
Have to say cammy, followed your videos for a long time now, but these last two videos are the best I have ever seen, so much to see and learn, simply fantastic 👍 🐑
just goes to show you the devastation of the highland clearances...but what beautiful scenery....thanks again cammie for yet another great video...john from dunfermline.
Oh my, what beautiful scenery! How awesome to get to spend some time there?! Thanks for sharing it, Cammy; Absolutely loved the video! EDIT: I forgot to mention the drone footage was stunning! Your voice-overs were well-spoken and made the drone shots a cinematic experience. (I saw a bunny in the drone footage!...and in the shearing footage, a 3-horned sheep??!)
Bloody hell Cammy... Your editing over the last few is outstanding. Fair shout you had some great location for filming but it's been put together so well! Not sure how you're doing it with the young lad around even with super mum Lizzy on the case. Just well done you guys are obviously a smashing team!
Oh my goodness such beauty!!! You needed one of those Australian hats with the small dangling corks all around to get the flies out of your face. Have you been to the Isle of Sky?? My grandmother was from there and I want so much to visit Scotland. I had 2 kids born to my Dwarf Nigerian Goat a few weeks ago and their names are Skye Isle and Angus! Love your channel Camy!!💜

Incredible blog thank you so much for this it brought tears to my eyes to see this beautiful place so beautifully kept and what a great honest up to date TRUE account of this awesome place
Cammy, my first post on your channel. Love your videos. I couldn’t make out what you were saying when I first started watching your vlog about 6 months back, but now I understand most of it. Are you speaking more clearly or am I just getting used to your accent? Our priest at our Episcopal Church is from Scotland ! Like yourself he’s a nice guy. He wore a kilt at his wedding and he and his wife have a daughter, Niamh. Kiss the wee one for me! ❤️
The flies aren’t the worst, there’s the midges! They are tiny evil bloodsucking horrors that inhabit the west of Scotland and can drive the toughest people to tears and into insanity!
Those were some very tough people. The storms had to have been mind blowing. I'm not surprised that no one lives there now. The flies would drive away everything. I'm sure the wool helps the sheep. I will be checking out more information about this area. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.
What a beautiful place!!!! The drone shots were wonderful!!! Really like watching good sheep dogs work even if it didn't work perfectly! I love how the sheep ran and jumped when released. I think they were glad to get rid of their heavy coats!
We really love these videos with the amazing scenery and your interesting commute to work. We would like to know what happens with the wool. Perhaps there may be a niche market for these fleeces for handspinners? I would dearly love some of that beautiful wool, what a wonderful color it is. Thank you for your brilliant channel.
I know that it was a very job. But I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all it took to make this video. I just loved being where I will never go.. THANKS Love granny90 c
Another great video really enjoyed it, beautiful Island, these sheep looked in really good condition what a grand life they have an Island all to themselves and no people or dogs to bother them.
What a beautiful place. Love that the historic info is also in Gàidhlig. The Hebrides are one of the few areas in Scotland that Gàidhlig is still spoken.
The sheep are beautiful . Since the wool (at this time) is useless, what are the sheep raised for? Heritage, meat, grazing services? The flies would have driven me nuts as would the small dinghy. The sheep, the land and the craic would have made up for it though. Thanks Cammy for another great video.
Your country is so beautiful! The scenery, I could stare at it for days! I also love the history there. Plus, I love all of the accents! All the live and best from Canada 🇨🇦
Wonderful video, Cammy, you sure are lucky to be able to visit such gorgeous islands. Just a hint for future videos. If you are touring another exhibition, please take full shots of the informatiive plackards for a few seconds and your viewers can then stop the video to read all the information and look at the photos. Such fit and healthy sheep; are they all wethers? You sure had a lot of flies, but I was thinking better than the scores of mosquitos we have here.
I love these videos where you show the countryside of Scotland so beautiful. Your logo is also so cute and it actually kind of matches your hair as well as the wool of the sheep! You should use that hair to your benefit just like good old Bob Ross did on those painting videos! Use your hair as an asset as you seem to be doing! Really enjoy this videos glad I subscribed. I may have to look into buying some cute item with that logo! Cheers from Wisconsin USA
This was an awesome video!! Scotland has always been on my bucket list as my ancestors are Scottish/Irish. Thank you so much for sharing….I would love to visit here!!
Those sheep are beautiful! Look like a cross of an Icelandic and Shetland with a little Jacob thrown in there....just beautiful it’s amazing how they can basically exist with little care..reminds me of the Smith Island sheep from the Virginia barrier islands Thanks
Flies… I heard that rosemary will keep flies away. I put a rosemary plant out the front door in a pot. The front door was a main way for flies as they love hanging out on the covered porch. We have had very few flies inside this year. Bonus, sitting on the porch does not include cardio fly shooing exercises. I wonder if it would work on your flies. Maybe a sprig or two on the camera, in a button hole, etc.
This and the last video alone have made subscribing one of the best decisions I made recently. Hit the subscribe button if you haven't already!
I’m relieved!
Have already. 😎
I'll think about it. Ah who am I kidding...I subscribed months ago.

Thanks Donna, The wool is just buried as It costs more to take it to processor than it's worth unfortunately.
Do the lambs get left for natural increase.
Well, it's beautiful but it's too cold to enjoy, even in the summer.
We're there flies in Eden? Fly strike must be a major problem here unless they have developed a strong immunity.
Love the Hebridean/Shetland sheep wool, am an avid knitter my favourite colour is the Shetland Black, love the variation in the shades. And those horns...so cute! ❤

I kind of lost myself in this video. The sheep were gorgeous and the land was amazing. Thanks 🙏
Outstanding. Got to say the guy with the blue t shirt with beer in hand and one in his back pocket, reminds me of guys at a wedding reception, with open bar, ordering two at a time.
It was a long walk back to the bar 😅
A trip to Scotland has vaulted to the top 5 on my bucket list, thanks to a sheep shearer and a hoof trimmer! You fellows should be made honorary ambassadors for your country.
¡Gracias!
Thank you. Muy Bonito.
It’s funny to see the white sheep being the odd ones out in the flock. What beautiful sheep!
Amazing footage of an amazing island. The last couple of vlogs have been stunning and so interesting to see how things are done out at these places.
Just when I was bored waiting for my fleece to soak I check UA-cam and here’s a fresh sheep game.
I am so jealous of the gorgeous land that you call home. I’m from Texas and we have beautiful lands as well. Praying one day I get to visit Scotland.
My mom was from Scotland.. love this from Canada
Thanks Angus!
Videos are getting unmissable. Thanks for sharing this… 👍
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!
Why are there so many flies?
The water and the sand were wonderful!
Smart looking sheep and always more fun working with a good bunch of people. Beautiful islands.
Lovely sand on those beaches, Big Sean would have that spread on the fields in no time. Another brilliant video.
😂😂 great for the PH!
Aye Cammy , you dont see Sandi Brock messing about with boats , its refreshing to see the other side of the sheep game with your travels to the various parts of bonnie scotland
Thank you do much. I've been blessed this a.m. by your video.
Great to see the places in my homeland I’ve never seen before. Love your channel.
Grate vid cammy. Some of the wildest things known to man those hebredian sheep

Well, maybe not.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking.
"Oh it's so beautiful and the sheep are so cute and OMG! Is that some king 3 horned devil sheep?! I love it!

The flies lay eggs in the wool. The eggs hatch and turn into larvae which then start eating the sheep's skin under the wool.
The sheep are sooo beautiful! I’m bowled over.🦌💌❤️🐑
Amazing! I loved this video. Beautiful scenery. I have never seen sheep like that. They are beautiful.
Amazing colored fleece. Makes me long to be there just to get my hands into it and have an opportunity to spin
