If only the Lion had tried a fum, maybe he wouldn't have given Perturabo siege guns or punched the head off one of his loyal sons Or maybe he still would have, but can't hurt to try for 10% off here : tryfum.com/MAJORKILL
There is a Blues Brothers 40k joke comic I saw Roboute wearing sunglasses: It's been 10 millennia, the Imperium is a mess, Tyranids, Chaos forces, and Dad is now worshipped as a god... The Lion wearing sunglasses: Hit it! Cuts to giant effing spaceship flying in space.
I hope they do a callback from ‘The Unremembered Empire’ when Guilluman first hears that The Lion is in the system. “Out of all my brothers, why did it have to be him?” but instead says something like “Out of all my brothers, I’m glad it’s him.”
It's a good opportunity for reconciliation.. How they'll finally meet again is not so easily answered but I'll like to imagine guilliman finding the lion this time instead of the other way around like in imperium secundus..
Based on how happy the Lion was at learning hes not the only one and his general peacemaker attitude... I dont see a conflict in the future. Tzentch might stir something up tho.
I absolutely can see them not agreeing on a lot of stuff, but I can't imagine it turning violent with how levelheaded both of them now are. Guilliman was never the "act first think later" guy and Lion has changed a lot since the Heresy. There is room for disagreement but not outright hostility and open conflict.
@@edim108even during the heresy the lion was on to hear out Bobby G before condeming him and came to the conclusion its fine. I don't think he will be much worse now.
@@Raffney but you need to remember that lion not only has the social skills of a smelly turd, but he is also quite full of himself and very singleminded, specially when he gets angry or believes he has been insulted
@@Raffney If anything he's much more reasonable now than he was back then, having some 10k years to reflect on just how badly he messed up and how a lot of the heresy could have been prevented or mitigated if he listened to others and wasn't a dickhead. They'll have plenty to disagree on but they're both too reasonable for it to ever escalate beyond verbal sparring and working on a compromise of some sort...
Reading Dark Imperium now, and read the Son of the Forest. Both are at the point where the only thing they care about is protecting humanity and the imperium. They both share VERY similar views on how they made mistakes in the past and want to make things right. Lion even said he would be happy to see even Russ at this point. I think when they do meet they will honestly just be glad they aren't alone anymore. Guilliman needs the help, and the Lion is going to be there to provide that, I don't have any doubt on my mind in that.
Guilliman during Heresy: Damn! I would even make Russ new Emperor! Lion recent times: Damn i would be happy with only Russ at this point! Note: No one actually likes Russ
@@juliane.mfarias9285 Russ has an ironically hilarious dynamic where everyone misses him from nostalgia of the past despite thinking he was an insufferable idiot before his disappearance. Kind of a "Damn, do i miss that idiot..." relationship.
Especially with the ending of the new Lion book, he is absolutely going to just be happy and relieved to just not be alone. Especially with how much the book developed the Lion’s new wisened character.
@@TheCrimsonSpork well that just means hes spent the last 10,000 years in his head plenty of time to mull over past failures and whats really important
Got to love how the Lion even realized just how obnoxiously stupid his rivalry with Russ was and misses Russ as a result. 10k years of meditative thinking really does wisen the most impulsive of men, especially considering how the Lion was impulsiveness incarnate before.
The Lion sees Guilliman barely holding the Imperium together with the administrative equivalent to duct tape and decides to share the burden. Maybe he’ll become Warmaster, only that they won’t call it that. We do it in real life all the time! Same thing, same circumstances, different name to make it sound better than the last thing after it went wrong...
It's kind of weird to think that Guilliman is mentally hundreds of years older than the lion but the lion is physically older than him now, an interesting dynamic for sure!
I don’t think he looks older because his body aged. I think he’s grown into his more mature form if that makes sense. No longer a hot head knight. But more a stoic protector.
@@ddogthepimphe aged. He asked a fallen space marine where the witch is which drains his energy because he is a split second slower and it takes him more energy than before his coma. Despite him killing dozens of full armored Fallens in seconds with just a sword. Took the fallen a second to realize the Lion didn’t understand the concept of aging. There is no witch. He just got older. It’s hilarious. The lion is physically 10.000 years older than Guilliman. He aged. Guilliman was in a stasisfield.
Maybe with the Lion back Dante can finally get a good bit of sleep, a day at the spa, and the crippling realization that his work STILL isn't done because the Lion still doesn't know how to talk to people.
Damn man, I almost got a tear in my eye picturing that scene. Picturing G man, a Primarch, down on his knees on the verge of tears from sheer relief. GW has a tremendous opportunity to make one of the greatest moments in 40k since the heresy. I PRAY to the emperor that they do not fuck it up.
My favorite thing about retiring primarchs is when they talk about Russ. In the heresy books when G man is making the second imperium he hopes for another brother to show up and thinks even Rus. When the lion returns to the modern galaxy and wants one of his brothers he too thinks even Rus. I find it very funny that they all have an opinion about Rus but it’s clear he still there brother
Russ is like that problematic brother that act weird, occasionally would say the most retarded/racist things at the family reunion, but he generally means well and we love him anyway, but if someone try to fuck him up we're gonna fuck them up
@@ChaplainPhantasm They didnt have a "grudge" more a misunderstanding but the Lion and Russ loved each other's sense of Loyalty and Duty. Remember Russ was the emperor's executioner and the Lion the Emperor's exterminator. Both grew up in similar circumstances being in the wild as children.
I like the idea of the Lion being the shield that protects humanity while G man builds up Crusade level forces to actually fix the Imperium. I also want Corax back. The Sword, the Shield, and the Shadow together to keep mankind alive. Plus you have the fact that those three represent several aspects of humanity. G man was raised as a noble statesman and has the power of organization. The Lion was one part wild man and one part noble knight. And Corax was the shadow and the freedom fighter. Combined they are three very noble aspects of humanity.
Also, Corvus and Guilliman were super good brothers before the Heresy. Corax even said that the only person he felt was his “older brother” was Guilliman.
I wish GW would embrace the fact that if a Primarch’s soul can be recovered then they can be resurrected. Either by cloning or going into the Warp and manually dragging the deceased out. Well guess what. The Iron Hands have the Skull of Ferrus Manus. The Emperor summoned his soul in the Webway and he fought alongside the Custodes as a warp spawn like entity. Horus summoned him to emotionally manipulate Sanguinius. Although instead of doing that Ferrus lead his brother directly to Horus for the Angel’s final battle. Anyone strong enough to summon him has such direct access to the soul of Ferrus Manus and the Imperium has his skull of a pedestal. Just clone him, summon his soul, and shove it into the body. Boom, you’ve resurrected Ferrus Manus
Lion would see Guilliman being nearly overwhelmed in trying to keep the Imperium together and decide to help him. By being Lord Commander of the armies, freeing Guilliman to completely focus on bureaucracy and logistics that he does best.
The Lion realizes there's only one person who can step up and help take some of the load off Gulliman. It's Dante, he's getting promoted again, to his own dismay.
@@parsath_2584it'd be cool if he spoke to guilliman in private about just wanting to die immediately after guilliman gave him more responsibilities and guilliman helping him get over his depression
Getting a video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to being in Guillimans situation as imperial regent would be pretty cool ngl , I've been asking since November btw ☺️
I will keep asking for this because if there is one thing all 40k factions have in common it's being stubborn and never giving up: Could you make a video on how someone could permanently kill one of the 4 chaos gods and (more interestingly) what would happen if they did ?
well there is a few ways 1 get 2 or more of the other gods to set out with the task of killing it 2 permaaly altering the belif and state of the universe so say somehow lust and greed was removed from the human race somehow that might do it 3 sealing off the warp would prob starve them to death well if they did die not a whole alot other than less of whatever they were as the gods are shaped by mortals not the other way around
It could have some nasty blowback in making the surviving chaos gods _even more powerful._ Having to share less of the psychic leakage into the Warp as it's no longer a 4 way split.....
Doubt you can actually perma kill them. They are aspects of reality. But you can drain them of all theor influence on realspace and/or their power which would do the same. Just a difference to being techmically dead overall. just like the Cathan are not technically dead dead.
The way I see it is that the Warp is another dimension that is like a bubble, the more pyskers the bigger the bubble. So beyond the galaxy it would thin out the practically nothing. This means that if the Warp was looked at in other galaxies it would exist by our chaos gods wouldn't have a presence there as they wouldn't be able to get there. This become more interesting with the Tyranids, they are also psykers in a way, but it is more of a distorted noise causing the shadow of the warp. It might be that because they have destroyed other galaxies that they have destroyed warp entities by collapsing the Warp in those galaxies. It would be very cool if there is a Warp entity from another galaxy who adapted to the Tyranid's frequency and hitched a ride to our galaxy.
Maybe the forest will be infested with a new type of monster, and the Lion will purposefully cut his way into the most corrupted area of the forest. When he gets to the source of the pollution, he finds RG making a desperate last stand against a massive swarm.
I'm actually hoping that the Lion and the Angels enter the scene via drop assault rather than the foresty-walky thing he's been doing lately. Two reasons for this. One: The Dark Angels get there name from a Calibanite legend that reads "The great and terrible Dark Angels, descending upon pinions of light and fire." Two: When L-money visited Macragge to see if Ro-boogie was a traitor in Unremembered Empire, he had a full drop pod assault READY to go. So it'd be a nicely ironic callback if he was now doing that to help instead.
The shadow in the warp ability that the Tyranids have might be the reason he HAS to come down in drop pods, because his teleportation ability no longer works when concerning the Tyranids?
Why not both? Dark Angels dropping in to announce their presence to blues followed shortly by Lion forestwalking in for some personal cavalry charge moment with his Redeemed guard and Deathwing teleporting in. Tide turned.
I honestly want to see Guilliman lose his composure when getting a one-on-one moment with Lion, all the years of dealing with the Imperium solo in conjunction with never having known what happened to him after Macragge just swelling
i havent read the books mysefl, but iirc freshly ressurected girlyman dueled with skarbrand in webway while going to Terra. The lines described how he felt the rage and bloodlust that sharbrands/khornes aura was inducting in him, and used his strenght of will to not let go and go mad himself. With this feat in mind, even with his 'depression' and wear from his 'job', getting overly emotional while seeing his bro would be out of character imo
I honestly see them getting a long. Let’s remember in Imperium Secundus it was Gulliman who chose to make The lion the protector of the regent rather than himself. He sees the lion’s ability and respects it I just think it’s hard to trust someone like the lion.
The Lion preparing to banish Angron again .... Gilly grabs his arm and says, _"Stand back, this is going to be a laugh."_ Then Ghazghkull appears at the head of a massive Whargh, and to the Lions complete amazement the Orks ignore all the Human forces, except for Ghazghkull who does a impression of a salute to G-Man and says _"You Hummie gods-kid waz on the level... the deal stands, we dooze stomp the spiky boyz, an you lot stayz out of our way._ _And then we getz to stomps that Angron fellow 'gain and again."_ Robot Girlyman returns the salute and shouts _"For Yarrick,"_ and upon hearing that every Ork goes into a frenzy and charges at the Chaos forces. Who suddenly look very nervous as they realise its not going to be a three way battle, but just them versus the Orks.... a lot of Orks. Damn that's a lot of Orks.
I feel like ghaz and gilamon vs angron is basically like that one justice leuge movie where Superman and ravens dad triggun fought darksied … ‘ I will fight u for the right to fight him… or u can go’
Bobby G lamented to himself in the novels that he wished to be able to even talk to one of his brothers. He will be thrilled to hear one has returned, a little aprehensive when he hears its The Lion, that will pass quickly when he either finds out The Lion has aged and much wiser or is able to talk to him and find out himself.
Majorkill, it would be so much fun to get a regular game night going with you. Your knowledge and interpretation of the lore would make the battles so immersive and colorful.
Lets talk about litteral living demigods that purge xenos on a whim. But first here's a ad about how tasteful air reminds me of my childhood. This man is fantastic
Also not forgetting that the lion's first response when dante informed him that guilliman still lived was "I'm not alone" with relief. Also, I reckon corax will be the one to come back next, and he will have the emperor's talon as a weapon. Speaking of angron and ghazgkhull, big red was parading around a skull that looked SUSPICIOUSLY like yarrick's, and ghaz ground his ENTIRE waagh to a halt when he found out, so hopefully that means that the big green torpedo is heading the red bastard's way.
Would love Corax to return; not only would his model be so damn awesome, but also his presence alone would also divide and cause strife in the Imperium which would push the narrative along nicely; it will be split between those willing to fight with a loyalist daemon primarch, those who refuse to, and a faction who would be plotting to destroy him completely. Unfortunately, Corax is currently playing a deadly game of hide and seek with Lorgar, so it's unlikely we will see a model for him until Lorgar returns.
Imagine how delighted Ghaz is gonna be when he finds out that 'That big red ugly 'un comes back after a few days'. He gets to beat his ass again and again for his transgressions!
@@ajaxo85y’all are hating too much on my boy Angron. He may be defeated by ghaz once but he is no pushover either. Right now he’s physically the strongest Primarch by far.
Roboute being the sword of the emperor and now the return of the lion taking up the role as the shield of the emperor is just poetic. If the symbology is anything to go by I think you may be right majorkill. I think a scenario in which the lion saves the day is a good shout.
Was just talking about how their reunion might go with a friend and my gf a few days ago. I agree it will be during some kind of huge battle, most likely with Tyranids. I think that not only will Guilliman and the Lion become closer and decide to share the burden of leading the Imperium, but that the Ultramarines and the Dark Angels may become closer too.
You can also look at the symbolism. Guilliman wields the Empreror's sword, and the Lion carries his shield. They go together, with them both being incomplete without the other
Just want to say I really appreciate how most of ur sponsors are all things you believe in and all are great and many healthy products that would properly benefit peoples lives.
I personally think it should go very differently to this. Two stories running in conjunction. 1st Story 1. The Tyranids attack Trayzn's museum. 2. To combat this Trayzn releases the clone Fulgrim and all the Astartes he has in stasis. 3. After defeating the Tyranid invaders Trayzn releases Fulgrim with all the Astartes that survived as a reward. 4. Fulgrim and his new armada come to Guilliman's aide and help smash the new Hive fleet. 5. Fulgrim reveals himself bowing before Guilliman seeking forgiveness. 6. Just happy to see a brother Guilliman doesn't strike him down but orders him return to face Emperors judgement. 7. Before they can get back to Terra, Demon Fulgrim attacks their fleet leading to a battle where the two loyal brothers manage to beat them back sending Demon Fulgrim fleeing. 8. Before The Emperor Fulgrim is judged pure and leaves with the blessing of the Custodes but he is to be watched by them. 2nd Story 1. The Lion begins to expand his protected systems within Nihilus. 2. Omegon secretly starts helping The Lion by sabotaging planets The Lion assaults. 3. After reclaiming several systems Omegon reveals himself and a large force of Loyal Alpha Legionaires declaring his loyalty to The Lion and The Emperor. 4. The Lion rejects Omegon but cannot capture him. 5. Omegon continues to assist The Lion despite the danger until Angron and another large Khornite army begin to The Lion. 6. Omegon and his forces actively help win the battle with The Lion once again banishing Angron. 7. The Lion forgives Omegon's past but warns him he will be kept on a tight leash and will obey all orders he is given to him. After these two stories have played out and their is a small window of respite. Then have the two meet both with former traitorous primarch by their side. Further stroies can include Demon Fulgrim launching a massive armada on Armageddon to lure out gis clone so he can try to kill his pure self. Perturabo returning to hunt down The Lion millenia after Perty's betrayal. The ruinous powers using Fabius to create a perfect Alpharius clone to combat the loyal Omegon.
Another primarch is to return, abbadon well be attacking vital spots while the imperium is dealing with the nids, the tau well build there 3rd world expansion, the aleeys well be building thereselfs up with alot less trouble, the necronsnidk
Guilliman would be happy to see Lion again after 10,000 years and won't care if the latter rebuke him for how he made himself Lord Regent of the Imperium instead of their Father, Big E.
I know the hypothetical wasn't delivered with any fanfare or gravitas, but I still got chills just from the image of two brothers fighting side by side after 10,000 years of despair and darkness. They will absolutely be closer than ever, especially with the experience they've gained post heresy. Cheers for the video Majorkill.
G-man keeps running the imperium Lion goes off to be a knight, tries to save damsel in distress Isha from Nurgle Meets Leman Russ in the warp Khan shows up and joins in Conclusion: ROAD TRIP WITH THE BOYS
You know, Majorkill is really good at these scenario descriptions. Because all of that is *exactly* what I'd expect to follow 40k's version of "On your left."
I would like to see the Lion and Gulliman both have a private conversation and they talk about how their fathers empire turned out. But in the end they both hug because they are the only loyal primarchs and to show that they grown as characters and caring for each other as brothers.
It has been 10,000 years and everything that they knew has fallen apart and into ruin. If they get into any kind of conflict, that means they have made no kind of mental or character progress since Secundus to understand that this isn’t about them anymore.
Gaz and Angron! I can see it now, just like in Space Marine, Gaz charges Angron when he doesnt expect it screaming "YOO SQUISHED MY BOY! WAAAAAAGH" (his boy being Commisar Yarrick :P) Launching both Angron and Gaz off a cliffside, beating each other all the way down. Gaz gets madder when Angron doesnt die and Angron beating the snot out of Gaz but he never falls. Around them as the fight continues just washes forth with a tide of green
Based on his conversation with Dante it seems like Lion has developed a great deal of respect for Dante (much like Guilliman) and given that Dante knows more about the current state of the imperium and whats going on in the galaxy and with Baal being the capital of Nihilus at the moment i dont think he will.
I’d like to hear what your thoughts are on the 4th tyranic war especially with the current loss of oghrahm but as for the lion and guilliman I can see the triumvirate he tried to establish in emperuim secundus returning guilliman becomes the clerk , the lion the leader of the imperiums army’s and Dante takes sanguinuis’s place temporarily until he decides to bring back the legendary hawk boy
I don't ever care for the sponsor ad in these videos but this is the 1st time I actually do cuz me and my friend were just talking about quiting smoking thank you majorkill your a legend ❤
I feel sorry for Nids as they face the Lion and Guilliman. He specializes in hunting and killing things just like them. He is the Emperor's exterminator and him waking up right as the largest Tyranid invasion of the Galaxy happens is no coincidence.
If they do it right, I feel like meeting between Guilliman and Lion can be so damn emotional, can't wait (and I ain't even blue boys or dark angels fan!)
And then Cypher appears! The two primarch brothers glare at the approaching mystery and, as Cypher pulls back his hood, acknowlege him with a nod. "Alpharious".
@0:50 "its not vapor or smoke, its literally flavored air"........... Bit of a contradiction there because flavor molecules suspended in air is the literal definition of vapor.
Majorkills story of how they reunite is the what we really need shits still beyond fucked but a major W and a good way to actually move the plot forward in a meaning way
One thing that's worth mentioning is that I think the direct GW are pushing it us that the Lion will be less active in the indomitus crusade, and more of a Knight hunting down key threats in imperium nihilus, as Lion is a great warrior, but not quite as good a commander as some of the other allied primarchs
I think something like that scene from Predator where Schwarzenegger and Withers shake hands and show off their muscles. Lol. Or something similar to that. Overall Guilliman and El'Johnson probably weren't that close, each Primarch kinda had their 1 or 2 fave brothers or were pretty solitary. If there was a way for them to meet, Guilliman might need to have a special ability like Corax turning into a giant crow and wraith walking or the Lion using this Forest Walking power of his. The current El'Johnson seems more controlled, a bit less forceful and a bit more forgiving as well as increased skill in combat. Personally I Really hope that Sanguinius (in 1 or 2 parts, since Sanguinius had 2 warp entity souls inside of him) or Vulkan or the Clone of Fulgrim come back. I'd Love it if Trazyn the Infinite gave Guilliman or anyone else the Fulgrim Clone just because or for some favor he's not gonna like later on, probably involving finding the Silent King or something. As well as seeing the Clone of Fulgrim fight Demonic Fulgrim to the death and unlocking some unique power or skill that only the True Fulgrim would have and ends up redeeming some of his space marine sons in the process. And then Vulkan coming in with the power to fly and even breath fire or something like a literal dragon would be the t*ts. He'd probably end up fighting Angron and probably nearly dying again. But then does something like launches himself and Angron into space and air drops them both back down to the planet in some bear hug, with Vulkan's super healing protecting him and a bloody pulp that was Angron returning to the warp in disgrace again. Then probably having to fight some Alpha Legion or Tzeentchian demon, if not the Thousand Sons to challenge him next only to die and/or be forced into retreat. And even after that win, the overall battle is lost since that seems to be a theme. Despite the victories, the Imperium is being pushed back due to the Tyranids. But I digress. If Vulkan did return and see his brothers were still alive, I genuinely think that he'd weap happy tears of flame and hug them. Maybe even deciding to find Corax and Russ since being so half-dead for millennia caused a connection to them through the warp. Leman returning would probably cause another fight between him and the Lion but ultimately I think he'd surrender in the end knowing that their past grievances were a mistake. I also really hope, that Guilliman got rid of that idiotic cap of 1000 space marines to a chapter instead of letting it be like 3k to 10k. Depending on the situation 100 to 200 Astartes can police and conquer a sector, if there's support from the navy and guard, from almost all threats to any segmentum. But now when they're needed most the guys just have their upgrades baby bros - the Primaris, yet not an increase in recruitment. The Imperium has like sextillion humans or more. All of the chapters should be able to recruit, especially if they get to them before the Traitors do. Like it or not, being turned into a transhuman killing machine makes them more resistant to the touch of chaos than average people and they could use that right now. Not to mention some cheap but efficient enough power armor exoskeletons for the Imperial Guard and stronger weapons, as well as a sidearm. Just something to give them a bit more umph. (Especially that sidearm. For some reason unlike real soldiers, the guard just have their lasrifles, or bolter rifles on occasion. But no backup once their gun runs dry. And officers and commissars especially should have these exoskeletal frames to make sure they can make command decisions and movements as well as shoot any deserters or cowards on the spot). Anyway, I wonder what El'Johnson's interaction with any of the other Primarchs would be if they also returned. Especially now in what's probably the Imperium's most dire hour outside of another Black Crusade happening simultaneous to the Tyranids encroachment.
Imgaine the Tyrinaids get pushed back, but then it awakens the Necrons in all their power. Then Corvus gets back to the setting with his supposed "ascended" primarch form to break Perfect clone Fulgrim out, then its a 3 way war between Necrons, Tyrinaids and the Imperium, but all the destruction emboldens Chaos more power.
@@IceCubE4425 That sounds like an incredibly realistic scenario honestly. Considering how things go, that actually sounds like something that could happen. Not to mention if the Greenskins come out of nowhere in the 11th hour and start decimating everybody when they're weakened from fighting each other Especially if the Eldar enact their plan to try to create a god of death to destroy Slaanesh, but that would involve sacrifing like Every Eldar in the setting outside of maybe the Dark Eldar whom are already kind of dead inside as it is. But yeah during this time it's definitely seen like chaos is kind of sidelined while the tyranids take the forefront as the major threat in the galaxy. And quite frankly, if I was Guilliman, I'd open up trade with the Tau on the offer that they respect one another's boundaries and don't try to reconvert humans on their side to the Imperial cult and alternatively don't listen to the Tau spout anything about the Greater Good to most lower ranking members of the military or civilians. More so than that I'd definitely extend a hand to Commander Farsight or at this point now I think it's probably Governor-General or something in his title, or it should be considering he has his own small kingdom within the already small Tau empire. I'd also extend a hand to the Leagues of Votaan. After the wars whatever left over scrap the Imperium, or more specifically the Mechanicus doesn't want, they can have. As well as biological remains of the nids so they could develop genetic weaponry against them similar to how that group of Earth cast Tau scientist did but unfortunately they died in the process.
MK, that was rewarding. Excellent vid bro. I know it will never happen, but am still holding out that the Imperium need The Khan. Lion takes the North, Girlyman takes the South and the Khan specifically takes on the Eye itself.
God I hope you're right Major. I'm looking forward to it! If a traitor primarch returns, I hope he focuses on non-imperium enemies, like idk the tyranids specialized against chaos (Hive Fleet Kronos?) and giving rowboat girly and the lion to catch their breaths, as you mentioned.
I think every remaining Loyalist Primarch is gonna get an item of the Emperor. From what I can gather on the Wiki. The Emperor wielded a Lightning Claw, Apollonian Spear, Dionysus Spear, Sword (Guilliman), Shield (Lion), a Bolter, and a suit of Armor. I think it’s gonna look like this. Guilliman -> Sword Lion -> Shield Khan -> Dionysus Spear Russ -> Bolter Vulkan -> Apollonian Spear Corvus -> Lightning Claw
I expect their meeting be like: Guiliman opens his arms and jolly walks towards the Lion, who does the same. They hit their chestplate together, and have a big manly hug. Than they grab each others hand, like they are planning to arm wrestle in the air, flexing their biceps under the power armor, with a brotherly smile. Of course this is on the battlefield in dire situation.
So now only Sanguinius is left to complete the dream trio for the imperium, after all the Emperor more or less told the Lion in the dream to find those artifacts hinting towards Sanguinius.
I love how people hate on the Ultramarines, but the fact that Guilliman was the master of the Excel spreadsheet and the fact that he has to employ that power to save a crumbling empire has given rise to a lot of great story arcs.
Makes sense the Lion is the shield of mankind (hence he got the Emperor's shield) and Guilliman is the sword and the one who is orchestrating up the crusade.
Damn majorkill… one thing I never would have expected you to do was to bring a tear to my eye. Your fan fiction scene between the two brothers was actually quite touching
A bit unrelated to the video, but I have a theory about the Lion's new forest walk ability. By all accounts it feels suspiciously similar to the Eldar webway. We also know that the Emperor is aware of the Lion's return and lightly implied to have a hand in it. So here goes the theory: The Emperor is not only holding his failed webway project together, but actively found a way to repair a section to be used. Sensing that the imperium NEEDS another Primarch to return, the Emperor arranges for the watchers in the dark to awaken the Lion and gift him with the modified webway in the form of the forest walk ability, which happens to be extremely useful for the half of the imperium that is cut off.
Watching this video give me some ideia of the Lion fighting the Tyranids. Lion will be a great threat against the Leviathan, since he has a incredible instinct combined with his tatical might, he can be impredicble against the nids, + he had very secret and destructive weapons at his disposal and can use to protect mankind against one the galaxy's biggest enemies. ( I firmly believe he uses the weapons against the Rangndan and be sure will use against the nids). This battle will be real great!
Wish the Dorn would be the next to return. I believe he would have changed a little bit, altho not for better. Whilst it would be interesting to see the Black Templar Dorn unleashed, he would be quite needed for fortifying of the Imperium as well, now the threats are escalating
The Lion "not wanting to rule" mankind isn't really character development. He never wanted that. Even during the crusade it's known that his motivations were never glory or praise, but to protect and preserve humanity.
I want what you described to happen so bad. Problem is I think there will be a civil war. The inquisition vs the primarchs. But hopefully we get that tyranid smackdown instead
@@Elia-fn8jvThe High Lords are no where near as powerful as the Inquisition... Not to mention there are numerous Space Marine chapters that would side with the Inquisition.
I agree that the two of them together would surely turn the tide, however, I do think they would hit a major roadblock with The Silent King and the Necrons in general, who would absolutely see the Imperium as an actual threat now, and would feel forced to act. The Lion and G-man reuniting might actually be the catalyst that also unites the Necrons, or at least most of the Necrons. I still believe that a unified Necron force would win the setting in totality and bend the galaxy to their will. Theyd simply delete chaos entirely, then wipe the floor entirely with the other races. They outclass every other race technologically by magnitudes, and, assuming they dont regain their flesh and stay robot mummies, then they are a hard counter to the only other real threat atm in the nids and would be the giant boot that finally steps on those bugs. Maybe, if the Big-E returned in full form, humanity could survive, but it would be tough. Theyd need to ally with the remaining Eldar to really stand any chance. Either way I cant wait for the brothers to get back together and cumblast the galaxy for a while. Shits gonna be a rip roaring good time.

Did fucking Majorkill legit bring a tear to my eye with his description of the brothers meeting?
I hope they do a callback from ‘The Unremembered Empire’ when Guilluman first hears that The Lion is in the system. “Out of all my brothers, why did it have to be him?” but instead says something like “Out of all my brothers, I’m glad it’s him.”
It's a good opportunity for reconciliation.. How they'll finally meet again is not so easily answered but I'll like to imagine guilliman finding the lion this time instead of the other way around like in imperium secundus..
Finally, hope .

Russ has an ironically hilarious dynamic where everyone misses him from nostalgia of the past despite thinking he was an insufferable idiot before his disappearance. Kind of a "Damn, do i miss that idiot..." relationship.
Especially with the ending of the new Lion book, he is absolutely going to just be happy and relieved to just not be alone. Especially with how much the book developed the Lion’s new wisened character.

The Lion sees Guilliman barely holding the Imperium together with the administrative equivalent to duct tape and decides to share the burden.

Maybe the Lion has finally forgiven Russ for that asinine grudge they had!
The grudge was settled when Russ let the Lion stab him on Terra after the siege. After that there was no more bad blood between them
Russ is like that problematic brother that act weird, occasionally would say the most retarded/racist things at the family reunion, but he generally means well and we love him anyway, but if someone try to fuck him up we're gonna fuck them up
I love the returned Lion was basically thinking, “I miss that obnoxious savage.” They may grumble at each other, but they are still loyal brothers.
Hell yeah
Wb vulcan
Lion would see Guilliman being nearly overwhelmed in trying to keep the Imperium together and decide to help him.
By being Lord Commander of the armies, freeing Guilliman to completely focus on bureaucracy and logistics that he does best.

I will keep asking for this because if there is one thing all 40k factions have in common it's being stubborn and never giving up:
Could you make a video on how someone could permanently kill one of the 4 chaos gods and (more interestingly) what would happen if they did ?
well there is a few ways 1 get 2 or more of the other gods to set out with the task of killing it 2 permaaly altering the belif and state of the universe so say somehow lust and greed was removed from the human race somehow that might do it 3 sealing off the warp would prob starve them to death well if they did die not a whole alot other than less of whatever they were as the gods are shaped by mortals not the other way around
It could have some nasty blowback in making the surviving chaos gods _even more powerful._
Having to share less of the psychic leakage into the Warp as it's no longer a 4 way split.....
Wait, the 4th is The Emperor of Mankind or Malice?
I´m so darn curious as to how the forest walking ability interacts with the shadow in the warp. Given it being warp based.
Maybe the forest will be infested with a new type of monster, and the Lion will purposefully cut his way into the most corrupted area of the forest. When he gets to the source of the pollution, he finds RG making a desperate last stand against a massive swarm.
Damn, the guilliman and lion meet up had me tearing up
"Thank You Brother. I have been alone for so long" 😭- Majorkill
Space Ceaser and Star-King Arthur is a pretty unbeatable combo
I'm actually hoping that the Lion and the Angels enter the scene via drop assault rather than the foresty-walky thing he's been doing lately.
Two reasons for this.
One: The Dark Angels get there name from a Calibanite legend that reads "The great and terrible Dark Angels, descending upon pinions of light and fire."
Two: When L-money visited Macragge to see if Ro-boogie was a traitor in Unremembered Empire, he had a full drop pod assault READY to go.
@@nmr7203the forest walk is clearly warp based so if there's somthing blocking the warp then you should assume it would stop the forest walk
And then Ro-Boogie invites L-Money to share some Ultra-Boofs

i havent read the books mysefl, but iirc freshly ressurected girlyman dueled with skarbrand in webway while going to Terra. The lines described how he felt the rage and bloodlust that sharbrands/khornes aura was inducting in him, and used his strenght of will to not let go and go mad himself.

I honestly see them getting a long. Let’s remember in Imperium Secundus it was Gulliman who chose to make The lion the protector of the regent rather than himself. He sees the lion’s ability and respects it I just think it’s hard to trust someone like the lion.

Henry Cavill ought to hire you as a writer. Your predictions/re-writes always give me goosebumps.
When Majorkill gets a sponsor you know it actually works
I personally think it should go very differently to this.
Two stories running in conjunction.
1st Story
2nd Story

I know Dante was put in charge of the cut off half of the imperium but considering how Lion can teleport I have a feeling he'll take Dante job
I'm sure Dante would welcome that.
The Lion in his new make literally says “I will not rule” so he probably won’t take Dante’s job.

One thing that's worth mentioning is that I think the direct GW are pushing it us that the Lion will be less active in the indomitus crusade, and more of a Knight hunting down key threats in imperium nihilus, as Lion is a great warrior, but not quite as good a commander as some of the other allied primarchs
A video on each primarchs reaction to chaos and demons would be lit
Mr Kill, make a Huron Blackheart miniature roughly the same size as Abadon NOW!!!
The emperor gave the Lion his shield and Guilliman his sword. It's gonna be a theme.
Guilliman -> Sword
Lion -> Shield
Khan -> Dionysus Spear
Russ -> Bolter
Vulkan -> Apollonian Spear
Corvus -> Lightning Claw
Sanguinous Armour
"It's easier to forgive an enemy than it is a brother"
Attributed to the poet William Blake - circa M2
I just want to see the Lion and Guillimen hug after. Both bros need a hug.
I honestly hope it's anywhere near as wholesome n cool as this
So now only Sanguinius is left to complete the dream trio for the imperium, after all the Emperor more or less told the Lion in the dream to find those artifacts hinting towards Sanguinius.
Blood angels player here can ypu provide a source?
@@michaelcygan2995 I mean... If you wanna see Sanguinius, all ya gotta do is eat a lot of Ork flesh
I love how people hate on the Ultramarines, but the fact that Guilliman was the master of the Excel spreadsheet and the fact that he has to employ that power to save a crumbling empire has given rise to a lot of great story arcs.
“Guilliman!”
“Lion!”
“Guilliman.”
“Lion?”
“GUILLIMAN!!!”
“Oh streamlined, heavy imperial taxation!”
what?
@@charlesfisher-kh5swlook up guilliman and lions reunion. A comic dub of it exists by 56 scratch here on UA-cam.
I hate how much of a god damn dork I am that your description of their hypothetical reunion gave me chills
I like the idea of an imperium split in half.
I really like the idea of guiliman being weary, beaten and angry.
Amd old man lion coming to bury the hatchet.
Very Intriguing but I doubt it...
I'm hoping for a brief moment of tension but they ultimately embrace as brothers.
That smirk at “fiddly boy” is the reason I keep coming back
Wish the Dorn would be the next to return. I believe he would have changed a little bit, altho not for better. Whilst it would be interesting to see the Black Templar Dorn unleashed, he would be quite needed for fortifying of the Imperium as well, now the threats are escalating
Guilliman will have to explain his Eldar waifu bodypillow to his older brother.
The lion: My expectations of nerds are so low that it is hard for me to get disappointed. But you manage the impossible
The Lion "not wanting to rule" mankind isn't really character development. He never wanted that. Even during the crusade it's known that his motivations were never glory or praise, but to protect and preserve humanity.
Da Lion just likes crumpin. Dat boyz got his head on straight.
so his core motivations stayed the same but he is a lot more chil now. that's not character development to you?
never in my life did i expect majorkill to go super indepth of two primarchs reuniting in a great battle
I want what you described to happen so bad. Problem is I think there will be a civil war. The inquisition vs the primarchs. But hopefully we get that tyranid smackdown instead
GL to the Inquisition. LOL
Yeah i don't see the lion being as accepting as gman and I definitely see gman siding with his brother.
The high lords of Terra tried that with Guilliman, didnt go so well, now imagine how well it could go against Guilliman and the Lion.......
@@Elia-fn8jvThe High Lords are no where near as powerful as the Inquisition... Not to mention there are numerous Space Marine chapters that would side with the Inquisition.
Are you alright?
The head honcho of the Inquisition is part of the High Lords
Holy s#@#! That last part absolutely slaps! Good job man. Pure farking gold!!!!!
