as an artist i love this conversation ❤.. 3 year on ebay, paying bills, useing ebay to teach me how to sell my artwork. One thing i’ve learned from ebay there is almost a buyer for anything.. even my artwork.. not to mention learning how to ship my paintings..
So true. Quick story. I had a camera bag for almost 6-8 months and I would send offers all the time I’d get a chance. And last week it finally sold for the original asking prize. After that I learned I’ll get the right buyer when it’s time. ❤
The wheel. 😂 I have ADHD. I need to do a wheel to mix it up day to day. Seriously, thank you for this episode. It was fantastic. I am a family person and a creative. I need the freedom that reselling has afforded me and I’m so grateful for eBay.
I'm 27 and I'm almost a year into reselling as a side hustle. Love it so far. Some of the stuff I've sold so far is crazy. There is NO shortage of goo inventory.
Brett! That was about 30 years of my life--hustling with a theatre degree. Totally hear you. I would work a whole day and then do a show every night until 11pm. And start all over again.
A very tiring lifestyle. I was a theater major and realized early on it wasn’t my lifestyle. Kudos for you for hustling for so long. For the love of the arts. ❤
there's nothing wrong with that as long as you were doing something you loved (theater) and getting paid for it ON TOP you were living the life! same with reselling if you truly love all aspects of reselling then as the saying goes if you love your job then you will never feel like you worked a day in your life that saying is very true and 26 years after i went full time as a reseller both online on ebay amazon and yahoo auctions (the big 3 at that time....heck the only 3 platforms at that time) and also doing flea markets , shows and having an antique booth i have loved truly loved every moment i have been happy to get up in the morning (or in my case at night (im a night owl)) to do my job if i felt like this was work 25 years ago i would have quit along time ago
Love this kind of video struggles drive inspiration it hits home, I want to continue thriving and every year I learn a little more. love to learn time management with this business and home life sometimes it frustrates me.
Tech was the Dad I hope to be for my child. I never had a Dad, I had a mother who had to do both I barely seen her besides when she took me to school in the morning and before I would go to bed at night when she came during lunch to fix us supper. I am ever thankful for her, but I dont want my kid lacking a Father.
that's so sweet. i'm a single mom and as much as i admire literally everything about Tech, his dedication to being a reliable and amazing dad is what i find the most special
@@mallorymusallam9588 My mother is my world, she is the most special being in my life. She was so strong, and often Id catcher her hidden away crying. Thinking back I get that she was carrying such a heavy load. Single parents either dad or mother are worthy of much praise because they have to be both mom and dad.

@@technsports Thanks! It’s easy for me to catch FOMO but I have to remember that there is enough to go around
especially if you expand your sourcing opportunities! Hint think outside the box!

That’s me, o thrifter that turned it into a business as a retirement supplement. I WISH I did it. 20 years earlier but I was not ready.
Beautiful life right there!
I love that wheel of life concept.
A few others did as well
EA games : Need for speed had your song, wowza!
It's in the game!!
I Luv that wheel idea. I got to try it lol Man you should sell that wheel for sale. What a cool idea
Seems like the wheel has caught on with a few people lol
Yep. Can't beat it for flexibility. Only obligation is getting those orders out and communicating with customers.
what orders? what customers?
It's a beautiful thing!
Orders are what sold, the customer is the one who bought it.

Yo!

It'd have a lot of the same answers

That's what I love to hear!! Thanks for checking out the podcast!
Where can I get this wheel of life ?? We need to see a picture of said wheel. Is it a digital wheel or wheel of fortune type wheel
Lol. Maybe next time I have Brett on we can see the wheel
@technsports yes please... I thought Brett was going give us a glimpse :)
Who else ran straight over to give that song another view? Love it. 💯
Lol. Memories
Soon as it came on I remembered it from my childhood.
I still don't know what song they are talking about.
Good one ❤
