I think I would have loved If we were villains if I had read it before The secret history. But since I read it after, I couldn't get past how much it's copied The Secret history. I feel like they are TO similar, and it slightly bothers me. The ending of IWWV, however, OMG!!! It ripped my heart to pieces.
Ok so I still think you should read 'Letters to the Lost'. I'm not sure if it's literary fiction or not, but here is description of it i found because I am not good with summarizing or describing things: "Juliet is drowning in grief after her mother’s death. Declan is trying to escape the demons of his past. Leaving handwritten letters on her mother’s grave is the only way Juliet can process her loss. When Declan finds a letter and answers it anonymously, they continue writing back and forth, not knowing who is on the other side. Juliet is instantly intrigued by this stranger who understands the loss she feels. Declan discovers someone who finally sees the good in him."

Pls read"This Book Kills" it's my favorite book and it's written by Ravena Guron she is not that much famous but she deserves all the hype. It's a murder mysteri in a boarding school where the main charackter writes a short story and the next week students body was found in the woods killed exact same as she wrote it, later she gets a text from unknown number thanking her for inspiration. Hope you read it❤
