I have the same exhaust for my lgt, if you want it a little louder just slide some metal tubing into the muffler, i think it’s 2 1/4 inch pipe and it hammers in there really snug and gives it a little more loudness but not bad at all

The car I have is quite rare, certainly the Twinscroll engine is only produced in Japan, so I have a real beast. I was crazy to have been thinking of buying the hugely overrated and overpriced BMW 340i Touring. For my dog, ermm, I think not. The BMW has no specific trays or boot protection, unlike the Subaru Legacy which has a full fitment for my dog in the boot. Again, well thought out from Subaru that they make Subaru specific dog trays and dog guards, etc, etc. The car itself being quite rare is more looked at, discussed about and deliberated about than any BMW or Merc. Why, because it is a better car, that is why and obviously helps if not many are on the roads. Brilliant car, looks the part, goes the part, just need a slightly larger exhaust to get that grumble noise. You get the grumble noise from the engine of course and that is lovely, same with when it is idle, but from the back, quite quiet. The gentlemans Subaru I think, he he. You did a good job on that exhaust mate. I have been humming and harring for a while about upgrading, but I do not want the car to look boy racer or chav like. It is a sleeper, I do not want chavs and boy racers wanting to race me all the time. Id not want to embarrass them like.

These Turbo subarus you definitely need a pocket of cash on the side to be prepared for maintenance and problems that come up. You have to keep up with maintenance religiously and just be prepared to fixes. They cars are for sure fun but come with You Pay to Play, hope that helps, thanks for watching!
thanks! that's awesome, it's going to sound way better, a tune isn't mandatory for just a catback exhaust, but would definitely help. I'd recommend getting a Cobb accessport. the loaded tunes aren't great but okay to use for now, but once you start modding more, can get custom tunes and protunes loaded on there

Hey man I just bought an 07 legacy gt with 68k miles. Stock everything. I want to start modding it soon but wondering where to start. Tune first obviously, but then I’m thinking intake and exhaust. What would you recommend?
congrats on the purchase!! hard to find that generation LGT with miles less than 100K, awesome find! I would start with an intake, exhaust, maybe a downpipe, 3port EBCS and then get it protuned from a shop. That will certainly wake the car up and make it a lot more fun and then you can go from there. Let me know what you end up doing, I miss mine
not 100% familiar on the JDM LGT but I would say that would be very similar, just have to stay up religiously on maintenance and if it's old/high mileages change out a lot of components to prevent larger headaches
Hey I know this video is 2 years old but do you also have a turbo in the car or just blow value installed? It sounds sooo nice. Another question...I bought a muffler delete for my Subaru Legacy 2013, and I wanted to do a Cat Back exhaust for the car. I don’t want to spend more money on another exhaust. If I bring it to a mechanic that knows how to weld, could they just take off the resonator and put a pipe by welding where the catalytic converters are and to my muffler to save me money? If you could let me know your opinion, it will help a lot. Thanks.
This is the Legacy GT, so it was the turbo version. No aftermarket BOV or anything, at this time it was just an intake and catback exhaust. You can definitely have a shop cut out a resonator and weld in a pipe and bolt up your muffler delete. It should sound pretty good. My car sounded even better with a catless downpipe :D Thanks for Watching!
the driver side is pretty good, however the passenger side is a little off, fitment is perfect on this. Need to adjust it a bit and see. Thanks for Watching!

I’m trying to find a good cat back for my 06 NA legacy, all I can find is cat backs for the GT/GT spec B. But I’ve seen reviews saying they’ll fit mine too. Is that true?
I'm not 100% sure on if it will be exactly a perfect fit, but it should fit, possibly may be slightly short or off but shouldn't be much of an issue. Thanks for Watching!
