This was extremely helpful!!! I'm just getting started working in a tire shop and I noticed when practicing on the throw away tires and rims how my crowbar kept hitting the rim. The rag is so simple but will help a ton!

Very informative. I have one question though. When putting the tire back on, you mention the position of the TPMS. But I can't help noticing that you can actually put it further anti-clockwise and the tire will already be down under the TPMS. This way the tire will never "fall" down over the TPMS as the tire is already down from the first initial loose set.

I have an tcx550 I am restoring to service. Its likely with the same bps system. My locking system was not working. When you push the yellow button, does it unlock at the shoulder and elbow or just the shoulder? Thanks

It releases the "shoulder" near the back of the machine where the air cylinder runs up and down and allows the full arm to swing out of the way to the left. The "elbow" is free to rotate until it hits the stop pin that keeps it from rotating into the mounting head. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!!

Why are you not grabbing the rim from the inside? Lmfao you can very easily ruin a tire doing it like that. Thise jaws catch the tire and put a whole in the side wall. SMH with this bad info being put out!

Because it's an aluminum wheel, grabbing it from the inside will damage the wheel. Steel wheels can be grabbed from the inside without an issue.

Obviously you can’t clamp from the inside on a nice wheel! Now I’m smh 🤦‍♀️
