Lori I've been binge watching your channel the past couple days wonderful content. Thank you for the tip for Sams Club just signed up today.. Yay!! Anna In Ohio
Great video! I’ve always been a Costco shopper. They definitely beat Sam’s as far as healthy options go. I moved to an area last year that only has a Sam’s. I appreciate this video and all the tips! I’ll admit that I still make the 90 minute drive to Costco about every 6 weeks, though. Give Costco a try! You won’t be disappointed!
I bought my daughters glasses with the protection plan only $169.29. Nationwide was going to be $300 that was with insurance taking $100 off for frames. I have the plus membership. All the points I earn I put towards my renewal membership.
Thank you for your videos. I’ve learned a lot from this channel as well as FrugalFitMom about saving at the grocery store as well as many new budget friendly and delicious recipes. Your content helps my family make it in these hard times. God bless you! ❤
Nice tips Lori, have had a Costco membership for over 30yrs, great store. Saw a video where they compared Sams and Costco on identical items- Costco a bit less, but not by much. The roasted chicken and 1.50 hot dog deal along with Gas savings would more than cover cost of joining. Don’t have a Sams near me, if I did I would surely join. Take care🇺🇸
This video was helpful. Just joined Sams because of the $20 membership sale. Have been a Costco member for many, many years. Recently let my membership expire due to the annual cost. Also, one thing that always annoyed me is Costco's frequently changing inventory. You're not guaranteed to find the same thing twice. Even on very common items. I always seem to be able to find a deal on BJ memberships and now Sam's, but never Costco. I'm trying to see if l can get by without a Costco membership this year. Looking forward to trying Sam's.
Hello Lori! I buy the cascade complete my dishwasher is picky but it does the best job with cascade complete and so I get it at sam's because its the best deal. Also the rottiseree chickens we love them. I have a costco membership costco has healthier options on some things but I find them to be pricier on snacks and things than sam's. I do like costco meats a little better than sam's but I like sam's rotisserie chicken better. I keep both memberships mainly because my mom got both cards and was able to put me on as the second card holder. I have a Sam's club 3 blocks from my house so I tend to go to sams more.
I love the fact that you threw in there not to buy seed (vegetable) oils! Very wise comment. Although I would say that many Extra Virgin Olive oils out there are not that great (often many are a rip-off). I am NOT sure about the one you were holding up, though. This is a great video, thanks!!
Thank you for that addition! Good to remember for sure! You usually get what you pay for 🫣🫣🫣 I am learning a lot so this isn’t perfect info for sure, but I’m learning and growing ❤️❤️
@@homemadesimplewithlori with Extra Virgin oil, it is definitely the case. The reason I liked your videos was because of your approach to learning and sharing. I love content creators with that type of attitude! It means that many will return to see what else you have learned and trust that when you say something you are just offering info. That is, you're open-minded.
5:25 1 roll of Toilet Paper last 2 weeks! I thought it was imagining things, so I wrote an "M" for Monday on the inside of the roll, and 1 roll it's always 2 weeks. The brand I got at WM only last 1 week.
I bought a Sam's Plus Membership for $55 (regularly $110). The Plus membership allows for Free curbside pickup and Free shipping on items. I priced out household consumables that are cheaper at Sam's, and placed an order to be shipped.
Oh yes, I’ll be glad to explain! It’s a great benefit to plus members! It just is a percentage of your purchases that they refund back to you (I think it’s 2%) and you can use it any time you wish. It is always an option on the app to pay with your Sams cash first, or you can save it up to pay for next years membership. I always think it’s best to use it on your purchases and then maybe try to find a good deal on your membership next year (sometimes you may have to use a new email). You do not have to have a credit card at all to use your Sams cash!
You will see your Sams cash at the register during check out and you can use it then or allow it to build up and use it a different day. Be aware if you have Scan and Go, on your phone they will automatically renew the membership to your credit card on file. I choose to not renew my plus membership, so I went in store and renewed for a regular membership but it immediately changed my plus card, so I lost 15 days of my plus membership 2% earnings even though an associate assured me it wouldn't. I called their 800# and they literally told me there was nothing they could do, to put my plus membership back for the rest of the time period I had already paid for.
I don’t usually buy napkins, so I don’t think I’ve ever used them. I use fabric napkins that we can just wash and reuse. Although that does come into an issue when I don’t keep up with the laundry (like right about now 😂)
I’m definitely a Sams girl! Also the free shipping to your home so you don’t have to haul the bulk items is amazing
So true!

Great info! Girl i love that you mention aldi so much cause they are the best for basics. But i love sams for certain things.
Me too!! Aldi is my fav!!

Thank you so much for the Sam’s discount code. I haven’t had a membership in years, but I do now and I’m hoping it will be beneficial to my family. ❤

I upgraded mine too, when we got glasses! It is so nice to have the plus!
@@homemadesimplewithloriIs it a big savings on glasses?
@@candywatts1111 you had 20% if you are a plus member. Their frames start at $59 I think. I can’t remember if that included lenses or not
Also heard that you can use your Walmart gift card and Sam’s Club. There’s a still do it.
👍🏻
Great information. Thanks’ 💜
❤️❤️❤️
Can you explain Sams cash please. I have the plus membership now but dont want a credit card from sams. Do i need the credit card to get sams cash?

Walmart gallon milk is cheaper in Sam’s gallon milk
Really? That’s funny. Wonder why!
I like Sam's and Costco for different things. Some items are better priced at Sam's, some better at Costco.
I shouldn’t be so excited about getting a costco membership…..but I am 😂
@@homemadesimplewithlori You might get addicted....lol

You know Sam’s Club is home by Walmart that they have the same products
I did know Walmart was the parent co of Sams, but I didn’t know that about the products.
😂😂😂😂
Nuts are never GMO! Do your research!
They could have an added ingredient such as a gmo oil…..
