(One of them didn't know what Regen braking was but said "you can put it in 'B' mode when you're driving in traffice and it will slow down on it's own".) I've had a Q4 on order since Nov 2021 - I've STILL got NO idea when/if my car will be built but at least I'm learning something about it!.
I had my order confirmed mid Nov 21 and was informed about 4-5 weeks ago that it was going to be delivered early Dec 22. I’m sure that’ll get delayed though!
You might have had that comment before but for the dust on textured surface the best is to use a detailing brush (not a cloth) alongside your vacuum. works well
The small glove box looks so weird compared to my Norwegian left-hand drive version. The left-handed version is so much bigger since the fusebox is under the left side of the steering column. So happy with the car so far. The range is spot on for us, the ride is superb and I really enjoy all the small creature comforts :) Only wish mine came with the drive select, but that has been removed on ours (we bought it 1yr old second hand, the dealer had it as a showpiece car.) Can still get really good mileage out of it by just being patient and turning the climate control down and similar to what the system would do on it's own.
Just saw your comment about videoing the camping trip! Be interested to see how it copes as when we eventually get ours (tumbleweed!) we’ll be doing a lot of camping with dogs, a top box and trailer or bike rack (have ordered the swivel towbar).
I’ve put up a video of my camping trip. Didn’t take the dogs though😬 I’m looking at getting a roof rack to put one of my roof boxes on, but it’s hard to justify the cost of the roof rack when I could just pile everything into my old Discovery 😂
Great video!! Would be interested to know that if in range mode you consistently see consumption in the 4.5 - 5 miles/kwh or whether this was just a fluke? Also, does eco setting on the climate severely restrict the heating or cooling of the cabin?
I’ve tried range mode a few times now and it generally gets me 3.5-4.5m/kWh, but occasionally over 4.5 depending on traffic. When in range mode with the display saying Eco you have no heating or cooling, only air coming from outside the car. This works like Ecopro + in our i3. I’ve just done a camping trip (video to follow lol) and had the car in efficiency and confusingly there is an Eco setting for the air conditioning which work with the normal climate control and does provide cold air 🥶
@edinreviws my car been updated never have I been more happy with getting an update that gives me features my s5 2019 did 😂. FYI before collecting make sure the charge flap opens I’ve just found my isn’t doing maybe it’s a fault from the update eveythint else works perfect tho
Do you have ambient light package. Ordered a S Line, so keen to know if it is really only white light (haven’t ordered with the special ambient light package). Great review focused on specific topics!
Can you do a scheduled maintenance video on the Q4. I'm in the USA and knowing Audi like BMW they will probably gouge me of unethical costs to maintain this car should I buy one.
Some good tips there. Just bought the Q4 black edition 45 Quattro. Picking up in 3 weeks time. Have you enjoyed the car so far ? My first EV and somewhat sceptical about the whole EV thing. I’m going from a Q5 to Q4
I’ve had mine over 2 years and I’m still loving it. The new 45 models have a decent upgrade in power and ranger over my 40- it will be great! I’m a bit jealous lol
Have you got 1 or 2 reversing lights ? I only have 1. I guess to save on chips…… Bit cheap for a £50k car. Also, do you know if the brake lights come on when you’re in heavy regen ?
1 reverse light unless you order matrix headlights. The brake lights do come on when you are in heavy regen, not sure what point they trigger but they do come on 👍🏻
@@edinreviews I’ve covers 5000 miles in mine now and generally very pleased with the ride and performance. The technology is so far behind Tesla it’s untrue. The Audi sense has tried to kill me on a few occasions and any slip roads turn the auto lane and cruise control into a nightmare!
Mine has been fine apart from a slight wobble after one update at the start of the year. The app itself is pretty poor though- BMW do it so much better😬
One is the total milage, the other is the trip milage which you can reset. I rarely use it as I reset the long term/short term memory when I’m on a trip 👍🏻

Thx. Another one is that it can clean the reverse camera. Put it into Reverse. Press the three dots -> clean camera
Use a swiffer to get rid of the dust:)

QUESTION: how easy is it to get repair parts? the news suggests that the supply chain is crippled, both in europe and china.
I’ve not heard much about that, and so far haven’t had to test it out. They’re still finding it difficult to supply cars never mind parts!
