Sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing another lovely video. My flying has also been hampered by the weather but I've been taking my chances when I can. I was flying on the bank holiday weekend, I was gliding on the Saturday (a busy day at Lasham as the soaring conditions were good) and I flew the motor glider on the Sunday. I went down to the south coast over Hayling Island, around Selsey and then turned back to Lasham over Bognor Regis. I must visit Goodwood soon. I do like the south cost on a sunny day. I hope that the weather improves and we can look forward to more of your wonderful vidoes.

He started riding bikes back in the 1960’s & was a great man. We used to go riding together in France, which was amazing. I only managed to take him flying once (as he had a bad stroke some years ago). I did make a video on that flight, but kept it private. I’m glad I was able to share that experience with him though 😔

He suffered vascular Dementia so there was not much conversation between that and my coms failing mid flight. 🙄 He was the one who fired my passion for flying by taking me to Manchester Airport as a kid to watch the planes. We both knew what that flight meant even if it wasn't spoken.

Thank you, life has a way of challenging us. Yup, it does rain a bit 😄… In the last six months we’ve had only a few days of VFR flying days where the airfield isn’t also waterlogged 🤦🏻♂️ Still, hopefully things will improve as we move towards ‘summer’ 🤞🏼

@@FlyingDarkLord after a phase of weather like that, I can understand anyone wanting to emigrate; though where I grew up in Australia had a higher average rainfall than my mother’s family came from in Wales, so it’s not always sunny!
