You know Max, in a big plane the a/c is always running...so Brian says. Noticed the paper right away. LOL You can't beat the Randolphs. Eye protection is required up in the altitudes you fly. Loved the break through the clouds.Great story at 13:30. You should be very proud of your accomplishments. No mistaking the Tetons! Fantastic views. Enjoyed this video!
My 13 year old son is determined to either own a citation himself or be a commercial pilot, your videos really keep the fire lit for him- and it means a lot to me. He'll be the third generation aviator, my own dream ended after an accident I was lucky to survive- but no more medical or employment for me. This video was a great mood equalizer after we lost Mac McCauley yesterday in that B17 incident. If you're ever out our way at LEB/VSF/RUT, lunch is on me.
Thanks for your message! Really happy these videos help give more motivation to your son. Tragic loss losing mac never met him but only heard wonderful things. Will definitely let you know. Follow me on Instagram so we can keep in touch. Thx
Flew into Jackson Hole some years back, but from the opposite direction. It was still cold weather and we came in between peaks of the Tetons. I’ve always been afraid of flying but looking out that window at the peaks covered in snow took my breath away. Indescribably beautiful! A gorgeous little city with the nicest people I’ve ever met. Thanks for another view coming in!
You should feel honored when you get a shoutout from P1D. He is such a wonderful individual and caring . Love your progress from an SR-22 to the Vision and ultimately the Cessna M2. You are a credit to the field of aviation. You remind me of Greg. Everything by the book. Jackson Hole looks beautiful. I am impressed how friendly the controllers are at the smaller airports . Best of luck, C YA!
I've seen a lot of videos flying into Jackson Hole, but on this flight the weather was perfect and the views were incredible! Sounds like you've had an incredible journey aviation wise, but really any of us who are lucky enough to fly regardless of aircraft are truly blessed.
Great Max love the story. I am 51, Retired from the Army and starting my ground school through MzeroA to get my private pilots License. My life dream. Greg and you have been an Inspiration Thank You both
You're right about Greg giving great advice ... this year's flight to Oshkosh in a GA aircraft w/o aircondtioning under a borrowed David Clark ear cushion headset was a miserable, sweaty experience ... on Greg's advice, I got an airshow special on a Clarity Aloft headset and flew back from KOSH in great comfort and could communicate better as a bonus ... thank you, Greg ...
👍🏼The cockpit instrument displays are amazingly detailed and clear. I can actually read them from this video with ease. Full screen mode - 4K. Cloud surfing FF mode was epic👍🏼
Hi Max, you are living my childhood dream. My Dad was a BOAC/BA Captain on VC10,s . When I was 21 I was offered a place at British Airways Hamble Flight Training school, unfortunately the school closed a few months before I was due to start training. There were a glutt of pilots at the time so my hopes to follow my Father’s footsteps were dashed. Twenty years later I saved enough to start Commercial Flight training again with a company called GB Air Accademy, six month into trading the school folded at the time Air Europe and Dan Air went bust. My hopes to fly commercially were dashed again. I am 66 years old now, enjoying retirement but love seeing your videos. You are so modest, and a great pilot. Haven’t seen you mess up a lading yet, always smooth. You definitely have the talent to fly and you are a pleasure to watch. I loved your flight to Jackson Hole. It must be so satisfying to be in sole charge of a Citation Jet. What a great life style you have carved out for yourself. Keep the videos going and thank you for sharing your time with us watching you. Can I ask if you could provide a brief history of your background and the company your work for. For instance who is Citation Dad and Mum. Excuse my ignorance but I only found your channel last week.
The single best aviation channel available on youtube. Clear, concise descriptions of what is involved in the flying process. Excellent video editing that de-mystifies what flying is really like. For the vast majority of us who will never sit in the cockpit of a jet plane (in flight or otherwise) this is a priceless window into one of man's great achievements.
I enjoy your positive attitude. Very encouraging! "If you put your mind to it you can do anything" That paradigm of thinking has no doubt got you were you are. Thanks for everything!
@@sidplays77 You know, I've always thought it was the strangest secret why some people have and others have not. The ones who have, can lose it all and somehow earn it back again. Those who are poor, and win the lottery, seem to lose it all. Good luck to you!
I like it when you verbally go down the checklist so we can hear what you’re doing. It would be cool if you could show your instrument panel when you’re lighting off your engines so we can see what the dash is indicating.
I've watched quite a few of this man's videos by now. Very good stuff. I get the idea of the theme a guy flies by himself in a private jet. It just seems like a real waste to see those empty seats with no one else benefitting from the expensive flight. They don't have to be part of the video.
Capt.- That was the best flight I've ever seen. Great Plane, Tetons, what could be better ! I can only admire your skill and calm demeanor. I could never fly (medical), but I have spent many a hr practicing IFR flights on my sim as well as learning to navigate using Great-Circle trig. because the math has always fascinated me.

Great video Max. I think it is your best yet. You are doing great with the camera placement and editing. Thanks for the ride. Also I live right on the final approach to runway 10 at BWI. I am a ham radio operator for 32 years and listen to ATC every day at home and mobile. Thanks for the ride.

Hey Max, I'm with ya on the Randolphs. I'm a big fan of Premier one and I recently found you on my radar and now a big fan of your channel as well. I reached out to Anna- Kay White from Randolph and told her that Greg endorses the Randolph glasses and thanks to him, I am sold on the product. Asked her if for any discounts but no luck. Now that you are endorsing them, I sure sales are going up for them. Be nice if they could offer special pricing for the fans. A note on the progress you have made in three years with your flying, unprecedented! You must have remarkable parents. With good people around you, the sky is limitless, in what you can do. Godspeed.
Hey Bill, thanks for your message. I’m happy you like the sunglasses also. Not sure about the discount stuff unfortunately. But I hope there sales go up because of the videos! Appreciate your kind words. Definitely have been very blessed!
Randolph does a factory sale twice a year. I’ll send messages to both Max and Greg when they happen. The deals are unbelievable. Maybe they can share with fans on Instagram. I will say that buying them for full price is still a steal. They are guaranteed for life, and worth every penny. Great flight Max. Hopefully see you in KBOS in the future and a trip to Randolph HQ can happen.
Hell Max , I thought all you guys always knew about Randolph Military Sunglasses , We've been using them in the Navy for the Longest Time , Check Out A.O. Military Sunglasses ( American Optical ) also . Same styles there also
Thx for the excellent videos! Did we all see the Monarch butterfly in the lower right windshield... at around 4:18? How symbolically apropos! The bugger sort of "short-sheeted" the ATIS, and didn't bother waiting for take-off clearance AT ALL! hmm. :) I guess I can understand the urgent need to get back into the clouds as soon as possible. I bet I could do decent flairs with THOSE wings. Me and the Baron in FSX have been working touch'n'goes at Logan A LOT, lately... but I have a fairly tight centering spring on my flight-stick, and it's just a "feel for the runway" festival... ugly. What if... every airport... was actually a funnel... into a wind tunnel? Nah, bad idea. Auto-landing system... probably wiser... and NO NEED for manual flairing! YAY! :)
just coming up on 3 years of flying and landed a 91/135 operation--going for my C560 type next month.
YAY! :)
So awesome in the true sense of the word.
just coming up on 3 years of flying and landed a 91/135 operation--going for my C560 type next month. Like watching your videos! thanks for the inspiration too...I just keep grinding and the feeling of being overwhelmed is getting to seem normal. Each progression in aviation comes with huge learning curves but it keeps things fun.
Well said Frank! Good luck on your 560 type you’ll do great! Keep grinding and stay safe.
So glad Premier 1 introduced me to you and your videos. Very well done.
Enjoying your ride-alongs CitationMax1, you do a great job!
I've also enjoyed Premier1's flights as well, both are Great!
Thanks, KV
Great flight. Jackson Hole is fabulous. You should travel on up to Montana next. My home ~ beautiful places to visit!
Love the channel, always something to learn. Had to chuckle over the pen-like premier1driver, unlike steveo1kinevo with ipad. August great time of year to visit Duluth (MN), Jacksonhole (WY) areas - January/February not so much.
