Ryan, great video(s) but your comment, at 13:02 "...this car doesn't belong..." is a really biased statement; it can open the door for numerous attacks and harsh/painful opinions. And this is coming from a former Marine, whom was snatched out of my car, guns drawn on me, kids watching, and my head slammed on the hood of a police vehicle all b/c my diff went out and I was waiting for a tow. The "Supervisor for the San Diego PD told me I didn't belong in the neighborhood to possibly excuse the police brutality. The sacrifices that my friends and I have made for this country should have been enough to do away with "doesn't belong". I have family that live in gated communities, am I suppose to expect harsh treatment/discrimination just b/c of the age of my car...
Hi Carlos, thank you firstly for your service as a Marine. My comment was made with very little meaning. I was purely noting that most vehicles in that neighborhood were quite new and expensive (Ferrari F430, 911, Rolls Wraith, etc) so my 17-year-old 200k mile BMW was 'out of place'. Also-San Diego. I plan to move there in the upcoming months. I am very sorry to hear that you had such an unpleasant and scary experience, especially in a place that I feel is as safe and respectable as the vast majority of San Diego.
E39Source no worries my friend, not all cops are sour apples but yes that experience (among others) was definitely one for the books and besides with basic bolt-ons (V10) or bolt-ons & a stroker kit (E39) the M5 would run circles around those cars!!!! And keep the videos coming, I love upgrading & refreshing Lisa (my beast)!!!!
