I have a question. Why nobody of you guys does not show what happens when someone tries to remove the device. Every car thief can remove it first thing when enters the car. Why nobody showing that???
If you have an old iPhone, use that, via find my friends, and set it to notify when moves, or use find my iphone instead, or ebay sell little trackers for less than £15 just need a sim card. Surely, when the thieves steal your car, they usually use the obd port, as soon as they see the carlock unit, they will unplug it and throw it away.
Great vid bro... does the carlock use battery while connected to the vehicle? And maybe do a car alarm vid. Some f30s don't come with a sound alarm, and what better way to prevent thiefs stealing a car than a loud ass noise letting everyone know what they're doing
Hello, can you use car lock later on with another car either than the one it was originally registered with it? Also, from your own experience, how sensitive would you say car lock is? How is the false alarm ratio? (high winds, light touches, etc.) I'm interested in using it to deter looters and track my truck. I'm a handyman and rent a room. I often have to park on the curve away from where I live. Recently someone smashed my quarter window, broke in and took some tools from inside my truck. do you think car lock would have notified me of this event if it was plugged in? Thanks.
Hey, great vid. How much history can you look back on for where you’ve been? Can you see on a map everywhere you’re car has been since you got the device?
i know colud be a good product , but my device is not working for me in the video he recibe a notification at the same second whe he turns on the engine , I recibed one minute later ( at that time the thief will be far )but anyway maybe i neeed to do smething else but yeah basicly for me is working , i open the door , move the car and dinot send me anything
If you are sleeping nothing cares, this is good in some general use, but as a security device is totally pointless, someone who will stole your car he knows what is OBD and if the device is pulled out, it is useless, there are many more better security devices to buy then this device
Just get the “car lock portable version” u can hide that anywhere in the car and still keep track of your car. Just you’ll have to charge it overnight every two weeks but it’s good

My question also. Why is it out in the open? Ridiculous.
@T R I second this

Need to get an OBD replicator and bury that tracker behind your dash somewhere.
You're not wrong about that

simon aguilar FACTS!
What happens if a thief removes the tracker and throws it out ? This is a genuine question as I’m in the market for a tracker
It notifys you if it’s been removed. The app does, even before that it’ll sense vibration.

You got out of the car and nothing, then u popped your trunk and nothing, what’s up with that🤔🤔🤔🤔🤨
Somebody that wants to steal cars will be aware of the ODB port and just unplug it
If you are sleeping nothing cares, this is good in some general use, but as a security device is totally pointless, someone who will stole your car he knows what is OBD and if the device is pulled out, it is useless, there are many more better security devices to buy then this device
Robert Bilić this is very true, guess it’s just a little bit of extra info in case of a situation like that, good looks tho
