Finally a hotel could be tempted to stay in. Bed the size of what we have a home. Looks clean and organised. Would never usually think about staying in Benidorm preferring more smaller villages but this looks lovely.
What a beautiful hotel! Just gorgeous in every respect. What a treat to hear the waves from your bedroom window - such a bonus. Personally, I really liked the look of the buffet - lots of brightly coloured healthy options for breakfast and dinner. Much prefer Spanish food as the main option.

I’ve never been to Benidorm though my husband has. I’ve just dropped a massive hint to him that I’d like to stay here for my 50th birthday, next February. I hope he cottons on 😅 Thanks for all your great content. I love your honest, down to earth approach. Keep up the good work xx
Just watching this and seen my self I was the person in the green polo in the restaurant I do remember seeing you about a few times what a lovely hotel and a great review I agree about the food labels would help and maybe they could make it clear it's not really a buffet as such more of a small set menu alot of people seemed to be complaining about the very little choice of food we hear buffet and think massive amounts of food maybe if they made it clear when booking people expectations wouldn't be set so high I thought the food they did have an offer was actually really nice breakfast was also good

Hi just stayed in the Hotel with my work they upgraded me free to full sea view was really kind of them loved the roof top bar great chill area food I felt the same as you they need to work on it room was beautiful just have to say as a women who likes to do hair and make up the only place I could do this was in the bathroom stood up shame really as such a big space for the TV that I hardly used as had the amazing sea view its very clean and staff are very good its a nice hotel and I agree with you I feel its a good price for what you get to be honest if I had not come with work I would have just booked breakfast only as nice places to eat out on a evening in the old town..
Once again, another great vlog, I do love your vlogs ❤️ . Cracking hotel right on the beach that would do me lovely . I would certainly look this up if I go to Benidorm again.

After a weekend looking after family your wonderful video was great for some me time! Wow what a beautiful hotel and a balcony view like heaven, bliss🌞. I'd say the bed's a queen and it's a bolster my Nana had them. Stunning decor and all high spec. Food I saw looked healthy and fresh yes they need a today's menu. That price is a great deal. Totally agree with you about prices .. .. we stopped in Riveria Beach hotel .. £710 half board in December.. for 2 people .. . Like you .. go to York for weekend. Cost you more than that .. .
Brilliant . Benidorm great but too old now to enjoy it but love it and would love to stay there again. All happy memories so just Enjoy.

That hotel looked so good, yes I would stay at this hotel. Mind you it's a brand new hotel, you wouldn't expect to see things wrong broken. Thanks for the video.

I do like the look of the hotel. I agree some of the foods need a label. Personally I do enjoy having food local to the country.
The price is really good for half board, single occupancy. I could get a room for 91 stirling let alone food as well here in Ireland.

Yes I certainly would want to know what I'm eating , at least if food is labelled you know what the dish is . It looks a beautiful hotel, with stunning sea view .

I've stayed in hotels all over Spain, but have to agree with the very strange food combinations in some.

Certainly nothing wrong with that place they probably just need to do a bit of fine tuning after all it's not long been open. The price is certainly not out of the way for what your getting for your money you can pay more than that to stay at a travel Lodge and you wouldn't get 3 meals in the price great video looking forward to the next one.
Paul, that hotel is 😍. Fantastic camera and editing skills. Oh just sooo therapeutic to have that view and the sun. By the way you can still purchase bolster pillows, great for reading in bed. Great value really, can image rather pricey in high season. Yes I would want to know what I'm being served. Can I please ask, do you have heating in the room?Keep em coming 😊

I assume your videos are not published in chronological order. I cant keep up, one day your are in Poland, the next in Benidorm, back in Poland and then in Torremolinos....and now back in Benidorm. But I love them all. Keep up the good work !

Paul that is one super, super hotel honestly. I would definitely stay there, and costly maybe, but that is the price you pay for excellance, first class. It has everything you need in terms of activities. I thought your room was 'magnifico'. I really can't fault it to be perfectly honest, and how could you. Its brand new and purpose built. I really could not find any fault at all. Its obviously been built with ultra-luxury in mind. And those views what more could you ask for.
Exactly they just need to tweak the food then it would be 100%

Nice looking hotel, lovely views from the balcony & reasonably priced not sure on the food thou but would definitely consider it next time but we're all booked for Easter in the ambassador playa 2🍻👍

Hi just back from that hotel it is amazing was 4th floor side sea view as front rooms 7th floor are sooooo expensive we only stayed there as got a good deal was looking for September but far far to expensive can go to thailand for same price for two week
We were there last week Paul not in hotel (we in Port Benidorm). Checking hotel over from promenade your right side rooms not the best for views. Liked your comment about cost comparison with Blackpool hotel,spot on! B

Hi I loved the hotel but just me nit picking 😂am not keen on no doors on the wardrobe and no draw space to put personal items in and meditation .noticed none in bedside table,I really enjoy your videos x

Hi the hotel opened first week in October 2024 only know as was there on the opening day thats what drew me to wanting to stay there would of loved to have sea view room but got side view still lovely though
Never been to Benidorm ( always go to Majorca) but we are thinking of a change for next year, so watching with interest to see which are the best hotels, like this one but might be a bit pricey when we go end of July ( I work in a school).
4 more 4star hotels coming in the next few videos different prices
Lots in Mallorca being upgraded.They seem to only want the big spenders on the Island!

The BARCELO Hotel used to be the old SELOMAR .....a cracking Hotel ! was shut and rundown for years and years, lovely spot and not to Expensive! was a good 3 star if I remember right.
The family who owned it argued for years what to do with it.Years ago it was sold with so many supplements for the views.I used to sell it my clients
I've never been to Benidorm I'll have to give it a try some time soon. I do travel to Thailand Pattaya and if you want cheap hotels that's the place to visit best 4 stars hotel they charge per room instead of per person. I've just returned from a 4 week holiday stayed in a 4 star hotel cost me £1,100 included Breakfast.

I always stay at the Venus or calypso. Food always good. Don’t think I’ll change to Barcelo any time soon!
I have stayed at both, but the Venus for me.
Ambassador playa looks okay and food selection is great but the location of the hotel Barcelo steals it for me. I haven’t been back to Benidorm since 1969 so I will notice a change.

Great review! I actually booked this hotel before I saw your review of it but now I’m as excited as you seemed when you checked in. I’m staying in May so the prices were more. Hopefully the dinner has improved but not too concerned. Question, are in room safes usually charged for use in Benidorm? You keep saying it’s free. You’re the second person I’ve heard mention this. Coming from Australia I don’t understand why they would charge a fee.

Best quality/price hotels in Europe are in Spain.
Going to Benidorm in may first time staying at the Rio park hope it’s ok half board.
Its a nice hotel buts its at the top of a path known as the yellow brick road be careful late at night do not walk it alone, its renowned for muggings, taxi or walk the main roads x
But then you need to suggest that to them so that they will know what your concerns are
and they can rectify it.
Barcelo are a massive company spread across Spain I am surprised that they hadn't sent in a team sort out teething issues its Benidorm they must know what the clientele wants unless they want to keep that Spanish feel but most clientele whilst I was there where UK tourists

Yes it is…not had evening meal so can’t comment on that…it’s the best hotel in Benidorm…in my opinion..
We looked inside a few weeks ago & thought we’d stay sometime. But the bathrooms put me off. They look lovely, but I just don’t get the fascination with having no door. We once stayed in the Versace in Australia & that was the same so we’ll give this one a miss.

Looks a lovely hotel, the food and price is good, never fancied benidorm mainly due to the rowdy reputation it has (drunken brits) causing problems, and questionable entertainment (sticky vicky or daughter) would hate that, but out of season it has a lovely coastline and your room looked ideally situated, thanks for sharing Paul ❤

Hi dianne,i use 2 think the same n my hubby tried 2 get me there for years but i wouldnt go because i thort it looked a shit hole but my god was i wrong😂 i av now fell in love with the place and this year will be my 3rd time ;theres so much more 2 it than the strip ,the old town is beautifull you should give it a try xx
I used to think the same but it's a place for everyone . Beautiful walks ..lovely bars.. restaurants. Just keep away from the rowdy bars...the old town is beautiful too 👍

All food should be labelled up with allergy information where required and you don’t see it a lot but in my opinion an all you can eat buffet style meal should always have this

It was the Selomar left empty by the family who owned it arguing what to do with it.
Selomar, stayed there in 1974 4 star hotel then.

I can get a train from Paris to Barcelona.
You can get the train to Alicante and then the tram to Benidorm takes about 7 hrs
