Very solid for sure! Thanks! It was a very time consuming process getting everything right because of all the other stuff I replaced but very much worth the time. Thing rides like a dream now
I loved it! Only thing is there's like a clinking sound when turning or bumping. Cannot find the source. I've taken it to have it thoroughly checked. Even gave the, "If you find something wrong? Replace it! Anything wrong with any part of its suspension or turning? Anything with steering? Replace it!" No spending limit. Nothing wrong found! Alignments and all. Go turning and clunk... I do love my S10, but, don't trust it to drive like I saw in that s10 rough country commercial.
My 2wd 6 inch lift for my Tahoe didn’t have rear shocks I called rough country and the guy said I didn’t need shocks that those big springs hook to my stock shocks I’m confused like wtf
By any chance did you measure the length of your springs ? I bought a 4.5 in rough country lift and I’m thinking about buying a 6 inch lift coil to raise my front
So my kit came with a heim joint to steering link but they forgot to send the bolts to bolt it to the front cross member 😬 So does anyone know if I even need the heim joint ? I prettty much installed everything else already... but the heim joint My truck coming from the factory didn’t even have it anyways 🤷♂️🤔
@@mikerasmussen7993 yeah two trips to the parts house later and got it all done 😎 lol While missing 3 bags of hardware and no instructions, I did it in about 4 days on a hill in a gravel driveway in freezing temps was sketchy and fun
Oh no! Hopefully just an error in shipping. Rough country’s customer service is good from my experience so I think they should be able to set you straight. Good luck man!
I got it done and installed at a shop, the kit ran me $1600 and they didn’t even change out the spring coils and shock are lol the same ones from the factory
I got a lift kit because of you bro thanks for the info best explained then any other UA-cam on rough country lifts
Well done rough country! Awesome to get them to donate! Keep up the good shows
Thanks!!
Looks like a very nice kit , looking forward to your upcoming video's on installing it . Until next time take care .

Can i not install those big wheel spacers??? Dont want my 35" tires sticking out anymore lol

It’s currently done and amazing. The install vids will be coming up next!
I feel like I just watched a Kenny powers video!🤣🤣🤣
I honestly feel so honored 🤣

Did all of the boxes come the same day? Just got 1 box today with the brackets wondering how far the rest are behind
Mine all came the same day. Hopefully the rest show up soon for you
@@jtmoffroad yea thanks I just tracked them it’s expected to be delivered today can’t wait to get it all hooked up
Sub'd 👍
Dam you're lucky to receive the kit from them.
I'm buyin one in a few weeks for my 00' sierra.
Thanks man! You’re gonna love it! Replace the extra stuff if you can! It was totally worth it. Truck rides like a dream
@@jtmoffroad just ordered it today 🤘 ready to get my truck back up and running. Will do👍
Ryan gst awesome good luck!
nice lift. if it doesn’t break, you’re not wheeling hard enough
I’m not gonna be wheeling hard in this for a while haha
Lmao
Could this be added with stock driveshafts
Does everything come with the kit to put together or do half too order more just wondering I have all the tools to do it
Everything comes with the kit to do the lift. If you have to replace worn out parts along the way then that’ll be extra
Looks like a great kit! Can’t wait to see it all installed
Sure is man! The vids are coming up next!!
Do you have to crank the keys to obtain the actual 6 inches of lift?
Shouldn’t have to, I didn’t to mine
So this comes with new shocks for front and rear or should you buy new shocks before the lift kit?
New front shocks but shock relocation brackets for the rear. So if you’re in need of new rear shocks this would be the time to buy them
Where can I get longer control arms for my 1996 2wd tahoe, I'm planning on doing a 6 inch lift
Nice video ! Subbed👍
Do they make a 6 to 7 inch lift kit for a 94 gmc suburban k1500?
Thanks for watching the video and subscribing! Looks like they make a 6” one for it! www.roughcountry.com/gm-suspension-lift-kit-276.html

Go to hardware store and just pick up a couple bolts?

What size wheel spacers to run stock wheels
Is this one with lifted front strut? If so did it comes the coils with it?
Control arms? If they don’t come with it would you recommend it?
Mine were in such rough shape that it only made sense that while I’m taking everything off I should just replace them then. Really glad I did
What did you replace them with ??
How much did all that run you , im thinking about doing one on my 03 2500
Rough country sent me the lift but I think the replacement parts I spent around $600 total
The lift is between $1350 and $2000 depending on the parts you choose.
wait so you have to buy the rear separate because I didn’t see any rear parts
Not sure what you mean. The avalanche uses longer coils and brackets for shocks and track bar. It’s all included in the kit
Just gonna say when I ordered mine a week ago I did not get a box neat like he did, I did not receive any stickers…
Jason Sudeikis wants his gimmick back
What wheels did you get?
How in hell did you get them to send you that kit??
I’m still trying to figure that out haha
Can these kits be removed even if there was some cutting done during installation ?
Not sure but lmk im trying to take it off mine.
Have you of any complaints about this RC 6" kit ¿
Not yet!
2 part video
Is this a 4wd kit?
Yes
I just buy my lift kit and it didn't come with spring
I didn’t see half of those parts on my lift, I think I got ripped off lol

What the heck! Yea my shocks are the same with extenders but the coils should definitely be swapped out to the taller ones
jtmoffroad out of all those parts I only see 2 things in my Tahoe unless I’m blind, but this was like 3 years ago
That’s weird i wonder if they ran a different style kit back then?
