Carl, as always, I love your whimsical layouts. I've been following your progress on Facebook. Elowyn is so lucky! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.😀

Thanks so much ,I wasn't sure whether it was right to do the posts on Facebook, as most people on there could probably do what I'm doing with their eyes shut ,but I did get a few people private message me ,so I thought I'd give it a try, and for me every day is a learning ,all the best to you, Carl

We're really enjoying seeing this evolve Carl. My grandson and I really enjoy this style of modelling. Speaking of my grandson, have you seen his latest update of his 009 layout? He's been mocking it up with scrunched up newspapers and trees made from skewers and card. To be honest, the mocked up trees wouldn't look out of place on a layout like yours if they were painted up ...cheers James and Dylan 🙂👍

A very thoughtful layout and I love those legs. I struggle for space in my workshop and use plastic folding trestles when working on sections of layout, but it is difficult to manoeuvre between cupboard storage on one side and desk counter on the other. I stick to analogue for my layouts as my electrical/electronic knowledge is quite basic, but it is good to know there are helpful companies out there to assist. Look forward to seeing your ideas for the small scale layout. I have drawn up a plan for a T-gauge set I bought at a exhibition a few years ago.... no shortage of must-do projects... just need more time!

Many thanks and yes the legs are such a help and really sturdy for the price ,I'm afraid I tend to work in a bit of a mess. I've tried to keep tidy but it just doesn't seem to work. Yes I stick to analogue as my knowledge is also quite basic, that's where Clive is a huge help to me and always on the end of the phone. I thoroughly recommend Heathcote. T gauge is what I have just purchased, really looking forward to working in a scale that I haven't done before, as you say just need more time, all the best to you.

Awesome little layout for your granddaughter. I had a thought about the spinning feather feature at the rear of the train - how about a pinwheel, at least that’s what we call it in the US. I think it would fit the playful nature of the theme.

How interesting a pinwheel you say I'm going to have to Google that as I'm not sure what one looks like but many thanks for the suggestion. All the best Carl.
