James as a former plane captain on A-4s that's not a pinto tube it's the in flight refueling probe. But still a great flight on it gotta get myself one.
I was an Aviation Electronics Technician in 1964 stationed in a squadron of A4’s for three years. VA 93 was it’s designation. We maintained these beautiful aircraft and kept them in the air to fight the enemy’s of our land and for freedom. The model you flew has been a beautiful experience for me. I am now 85 years old and on oxygen and 100 % disabled from Vietnam and the U.S. Navy. Your demonstration of the flight of my A4’s stirs a world of memories. I went on to serve with other squadrons VA97 and a few others during a long session of years. Four and 1/2 combat cruises. The nostalgia you have provided is bound to have affected others of my ilk. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing what you have done, not out of intent, but of love of aviation. My love belongs to God but, my heart belongs to aviation.
Dude, I am Brazilian am I became emotional with yours words. I am computer engineer and electrical technician working in oil industry but I always love the airplames. A-4 is the second of my favorites, first is F4U Corsair. God bless you and your family
@@aislantolentinorodrigues8641. I served on the Bon Homme Richard at the time I was with VA-93 and the A4 Douglas SKY-hawk. I serviced the A,B,C,D & E versions as well. The pod on the top was added later to facilitate the installation of Electronic Counter Measures equipment. I also serviced the F8U Crusader for about a year in 1962. I believe that was built by Chanse Vought. Not sure of the spelling there! Down memory lane.😁
Great video, it's good to see you guys doing some further flights on your EDFs! The maiden flights are worthy, good to see if can be done.👏 But it's great to see some 4th and 5th flights! Thanks for doing it justice!
I hope those Benchcraft Measuring tools come back in stock soon!! I have so many planes that need adjustment! Hurry up and die pandemic, I need my toys!! Lol!
Hello from Belgium, I don't know if it's following my request, but I want to say thank you for showing takeoff and landing from a grass runway, it's important for the choice of my next purchases 😁 Keep making us beautiful outdoor videos and workshop, thank you
You mentioned you are running a older 5000 Admiral battery pack. Will the new 5000, 50c Admiral pack still fit as it is bigger than the older packs? I have the FW F-86 and it will only carry the smaller earlier Admiral 5000, 50c .
I was a seat mech on Scooters and Intruders. Gear was long to accomodate lotsa stuff slung underneath. The A-4 was the smallest carrier borne attack A/C that was a nuke dropper......
@@MotionRC guess that's true but that why theres a volume control . Goonic to me has some of the top flight videos with a before and after opinions .With minimum banter during flight .

I should know that, but thanks for commenting. Amazing that you flew these! Hope I did her justice
@@MotionRC No, in the Navy, a plane captain is a ground crewman. I guess, crewchief, might be another word for it.
Hi, thanks for clearing that up. I saw the " Blue Angeis " demonstrate this honest airplane three times. " Zoom Zoom Zoom! "

Would this be a good 2nd EDF?

Put the 1920 in my old f86. It is a great fan it reall woke up the old gal. Gotta get a few more
I bought the Freewing F35 Lightning V3 70mm for a first EDF. Any advice from anyone as to how to fly it? I have been flying for 16 years.
can i somehow increase the flight time from 3 mins to atleast 5?
I wish Freewing would have kept the 12 blade as standard , they sound so much better.
Very beatifull plane. Greetings for argentina
Love your channel
That's sweet ...!
Woow..jet engine on a Rc plane?!:))
please produce one in the Blue Angels scheme!!!!
Sweet 👍!
GOD BLESS
300 bucks is a suprisingly low price for this airplane. I would have thought closer to 500.. really nice.
Too bad it can't drop mock MK-84 snakeyes
I pay 4 rc jet 80 mm 80 mm 90 mm 90 mm Every plane flew once and crashed ، I am very angry f this hobby , Which radio should I buy?
Buy a simulator...practice on a simulator before putting good money in the sky.
