Great video James and great flying Patrick this is a beautiful plane. Thanks again for remembering those of us that are just beginning our edf journey with such a beautiful plane to be an option for that next step up.
Patrick, nice job on the sticks! James, great job with the video! That shooting star vocal intro is epic! New 1920kv inrunner sounds great and looks like it is going to be a great, efficient powerhouse! Gear doors and servo covers look awesome! Great job as always on the plane, Alpha and Freewing!
You guys don’t understand the little detail of just the gear doors making the underside so clean looking. Now I wish all my other Freewing 80 mm birds had this!!! 👍🏼🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, MRT. The full coverage doors was a feature we really wanted to incorporate into this model from the very start. It really does clean up the underside, and for a trainer jet, every little bit helps in terms of energy efficiency.
@@mrt10352 In the prototype, sure. How's it going to make any difference on one of these though? The tiny amount of extra drag means it'll have to be paid for in extra thrust meaning about 3 seconds less flight time FFS! Thing is on the underside of a wing is far less important than this sort of thing on the upper side but yeah they look awesome and it's a fantastic detail.
Home Friging run. It will, look awesome next to my L39. Keep em coming. Really need some late 50,s 2nd Gen American jets too. Delta dagger, Super Saber👍
Very nice flying from Patrick again! The plane seems to have fantastic flight characteristics and it sounds awesome as well! I pre-ordered already last weekend and can't wait to fly mine! Greetings from Belgium!
great that you understoud that inrunner is the better solution 👍 know put some solids servos and light wheels with breaks and you will be near perfection
Damn you motion stop releasing beautiful fast jets! I need to get a bigger hanger! Seriously it's nice to finally see a great flight video review of the new t-33!!!
I preordered one the day it was announced. Can't wait to get it. Enjoyed watching the video with the multiple touch-n-go's. I usually don't put stabilizers in 80mm EDFs, but this one looked so lightly wing-loaded that I think it'd benefit from a simple 3-axis stabilizer. Luckily, I have a few Admiral 6-channels w/ stabilizer lying around my hobby room. I thought that the gear doors were sequenced, but now know (from this video) that they're spring loaded. Excellent. (Oxotnik, on The Squawk and RCG).
The gear does look solid and not prone to bouncing. Although most of the touch-n-go's were nearly perfect, a couple slapped down a little hard, due to the unpredictable wind, but the T-33 didn't show any signs of bouncing. The gear seems to be VERY forgiving for this aircraft. With the Power Train and Gear, this plane is looking like it'll be an awesome plane to fly. Can't wait to get mine (USAF livery, although the German livery was VERY tempting very) and to get it into the air.
very nice work, looks like an excellent addition to every jet-fans hangar...im sure these things will sell like hotcakes...the german version looks so nice, first plane in a long time that does not seem to need a ton of mods to look sweet, just a few little leds here and there and a bit weathering maybe and it will look fantastic - saw the real one here in Berlin-Gatow at the Luftwaffenmuseum, good job guys, cheers
Waiting for mine to arrive soon. This will. Be my first 90mm sdf jet I'm. Fairly new to edf jets so I'm hoping I made the right choice here. Thanks again guys
I love the Hobby King voltage checker with the blacked out logos!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I had to grab mine and check it out, and compare it with the one on your video!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Patrick great job flying...Love them Lockheed aircraft. Sorry-I Kinda bias-been working for LM for over 32 years. They build great full scale aircraft. 👊😊. James excellent video - look forward to seeing it in person at Joe Nall. Have 1 question. Will the production models come with USAF and Stars and Bars underneath the wing? I think somebody asked that question when you first announced it. Thanks for sharing. 👍🛫😊
Ok Patrick...get the grease off your chin, man James, now I may hit that button as well, awesome video guys , wasn’t sure about this jet, but now I think I’m sold. Thanks for takin my money guys👍🏼👍🏼💥💥👊🏼
Love this plane. What's it's top speed? Will look great next to my Freewing L-39 CAMO, and I ordered the T-33 CAMO, just love the SEA look. The Freewing F-4D 90mm is next on my list, CAMO too! :)
Well done, awesome plane flys very well. We have a t33 restored at the field. It is on patrol even when no one is there. Johnson city radio control check it out.Thank you for your video and time and knowledge.
It would need more than that though, a shorter fuse, inlet size, pretty much a different mold entirely really. But with the advent of 3d printing and some sweet modeling you have a great basis to let your imagination soar.
I showed a take off from grass during our talking section. But our grass is dead right now. She has better gear than the Avanti and l-39 with more power and lighter. Grass will be no problem
Thought I loved this plane, but after just one month of flying, I lost it yesterday. The esc completely died just after takeoff and now the plane is missing and I am heartbroken because I am struggling college student with no money to replace it right now.
That’s a beast, can’t wait to receive mine from Europe warehouse 😍 what are your averages flight times with the Admiral 6S 5000mah ???? Thanks for that video you guys rock !
@@ArthurRC its an efficient air frame with an efficient inrunner motor and the 9 blade fan which is also more efficient than a higher bladed fan. Its a great balanced aircraft thats capable of a very wide flight envelope

Patrick great flying, James will sleep a little better tonight. Great video too. Jeff in LA USA
I got my shipping notice today, I'm excited to get this bird in the air!
A great plane to start into 2020 with and available in January. Perfect!!!

Gypsy Salami are refusing to the the energy transfer? Gear doors equals less drag. No gear doors equal more drag, less energy efficiency

Patrick, awesome flying! And thank you James for the fight review.
no problem Richard, thank you for watching
You guys could make a popsicle stick fly. I definitely like the look

Icarus! You are going to love it buddy! Thanks for tuning in
Hey there, Icarus! Nice to see you here. Enjoy your T-33!
Awesome job, guys! Kudos to Alpha and the MRC/Freewing Team for honoring the Lockheed Shooting Star and all who served with her!
Thanks Tony! Glad to see you here
Nice Flying Patrick. I'm really liking this one. Thanks James. Great video 👍🏼😎 ✌🏼
Nice flight guys!! Awesome bird.. !! Ty4sharing,!! !!
Awesome flying Patrick!! I want this bird, just got back from flying my freewing mig-15. Soooo fun. Thanks for the vid!!
Good stuff guys, looks like a gorgeous flyer!
Thanks so much Chris. She is a sweet heart for sure.

Will we ever get a big edf acro sailplane like a fox or l13 blanik? Would be super cool for big precise aerobatics
Nice jet YO 👍. I think your right James, the German colors are more to my liking. ✈
something about that livery calls to me

Hahaha. Shes a blast Jeff. Hard to hate on a plane with a wide flight envelope, power for days and a clean finish with the history this baby has.
Nice model and those flight times are LONG! That's what I'm talking about.
It's a nice jet looks like we got another review coming on my radar
I was going to go with the German scheme, but that matte red pops out really nice from that silver...

Yeah boi I want this jet bad
That was a 6 min flight on the 5000 mah and 7 min on the 6000 mah
Digital Wolf RC yes you’re right that’s insane !!!
I wish they had the flight timer on this video. Did they really fly 6+ minutes on the 6000?
I was always so afraid of misjudging those dang trees...

Can't wait to fly this bird! I just need to take out a second mortgage.
Would be great if you could also give an option to make it an F80 by offering single pilot canopy and underwing tip tanks.
It would need more than that though, a shorter fuse, inlet size, pretty much a different mold entirely really. But with the advent of 3d printing and some sweet modeling you have a great basis to let your imagination soar.
What camera do you guys use to shoot your videos? They are amazing! Great looking airplane, can’t wait to get mine!!
Panasonic GH5 with various lenses
Do you Guys know how much more powerful the motor in that t33 is compared to the eflite 3270-2000 kv brushless inrunner
How much do they cost with everything required?
Is the T-33 shooting star still aviallable and if so could I get a price?
Hey guys what kind of reciver are you running
We had a ten channels admiral receiver with a satelite attached. (Only needs 6 channels)
Can we see takeoffs and landings on GRASS?!? Because it would be awesome if she could carry bad grass...🤩

Is this a good 2nd jet? Been flying eflite 70mm f16 I would add spectrum as3x if I get this one
Last thing this needs is a gyro and it would be a great 2nd jet
Motion RC thank you next plane for me
That’s a beast, can’t wait to receive mine from Europe warehouse 😍 what are your averages flight times with the Admiral 6S 5000mah ???? Thanks for that video you guys rock !
we flew it 10 times yesterday on the 5000 and were always between 5:30 and 6:30 except for the maiden where we went real conservative.

Is the T33 faster than the Avanti?
Probably with this upgraded inrunner power system
Can you hand launch.
Will it fly off of a grass field?
yes sir

The size of this T-33 disappointing. It should of been the same scale size of the large Freewing A-10 !
