    I loved seeing your model flying. My father CDR. Harry L. Devoe jr flew the Skyhawk in the USN. VA-106 Gladiators. He was one of the first Skyhawk pilots when it was introduced.

    Love the A-4, worked on them in the Marine Corps. Would like to see updated "M" version with some gear doors and an ordnance package to go with it. :)

    I remember when Tony brought the prototype A-4 to Apollo field before it was released. A beautifully done scale jet

    Since I fly my A-4 on grass, I've swapped out the 4mm nose gear with the 5mm nose gear for the Avanti S, SKU: ET8402. I had to cut some foam for the larger diameter tire but the overall height of the Avanti S nose gear is exactly the same as the A-4 Skyhawk nose gear due to a shorter strut. I think it helps with grass field ops. It's a great looking jet. Of course it could look better with landing and nav lights and gear doors.

    Great job, Wesley! Glad to see you here...nothing against James, he just isn't my favorite presenter. I appreciate how you talked through your stick inputs, very helpful for a very new pilot like myself. 👍

    Great to see you flying the A4! I've wanted one and it's nice to see some solid flying with it! I've seen a buddy wring his out but only once or twice. Great flying, great review!

      All the LG on this A-4 are TL. I do recommend using the Avanti S nose gear if you fly off grass. It's a 5mm strut pin. You will have to cut some foam out in the nose area for the larger diameter tire, but the height of the Avanti S nose gear is exactly the same as the A-4.

    Which is easier to fly? The A4 or the f86.

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  2 роки тому +1

      The F-86 is a little easier to fly in my opinion but both jets are great (Wes)

    Where is James? Bring back James or Pilot Ryan please...

    • @shelbyseelbach9568
      @shelbyseelbach9568 2 роки тому +5

      James is still with Motion RC, Pilot Ryan went independent a year or more ago, maybe closer to two. Plenty of videos available, both old and new right here on the UA-cam. I suggest you embrace Wesley's presence as he is very competent pilot, always has a smile, is a wonderful ambassador of our hobby, and is a tremendous addition to the Motion RC team. James had been spread thin for a while now and I'm sure he appreciates the help from a great guy.

      @@shelbyseelbach9568 Sorry and no offense to Wesley but I never enjoyed his presentation when he had his own channel, and after 1min in on the last two videos with him i needed to turn off. Wesley and his dad seem like really great guys, just do not like their presentation. My problem not theirs, we are all what we are.
