A genuine man. Anyone who stands up for animals, and those without a voice, is the best in my book. Very sad that he’s no longer with us. I think it’s 11 months before a headstone can be erected, so be worth another visit next year Alan! I lost my sister suddenly just before Paul died, same age, so I’ll always think of her when Paul is mentioned. She was an animal lover too.
I didn't know anything about this 11 month thing. Shirley, but thank you for telling me and I'm so sorry about your sister. I lost my partner in December last year and I think you've got so hang on to the fact that they wouldn't want you to be upset. I keep thinking that and if I feel it coming on I keep that memes strong in my mind. Good luck and thank you for the great comment. Alan
I am sorry about that. Shirley, I lost my partner in December but the thing I keep remembering if she wouldn't want me to be on a happy and if I feel it coming on I keep that strong in my mind so I hope you do well. Keep in touch. Thank you, Alan
@@jacintapower2832No it cannot. A lightweight temporary marker can but not a granite headstone. The ground needs to compact after being dug up and that takes months
Jane 100% the truth. That's so sweet of you. I never expect any donations. When I was a boy I had a friend called Jane. I'm talking of maybe 7 years old and she moved away and I always connected with the Slade song goodbye to Jane 💖 I've always wonderd where she is. We were great mates Thank you X Alan
I felt as though I had lost a close family member when Paul died, it upset my whole day. Paul was a lovely, lovely man who cared passionately for animals, like me.
I was a huge fan of Paul and his Paul O'Grady show and later his ' love of dogs' show..we named our yorkie pup 'Grady' in homage of the great man...love and best wishes
We met him in our local veterinary practice (We are from Ashford) a most Human Man, Humble and full of Humanity. He just walked into the reception with a dog and sat with us all in the waiting room and chatted with us as if he knew us as Old Friends. I noticed his hands, so elegant with a wedding ring of two clasped hands. Elegant. Classy. Like Our Paul.. Pure Working Man’s Class. ❤️❤️
You should have visited the church earlier Alan. Our first visit was a few days after the funeral. The church inside was adorned with White Lilies and I stood at the top of the pulpit (a bit rickety) and imagined Julian Clary giving his humorous eulogy.😂😂😂 Apparently the old organ needed a bit of winding up and caused much amusement - something that Paul would have loved.❤️
What a beautiful soul Paul is. Paul's compassion for dogs needing a good home was made with love. Paul is loved by people of all ages. Paul is a true empathic showman who gave everything to make people happy. I spoke to Yvette Feilding and i asked her about Paul, Yvette said. Paul is that blanket of happiness and love. That i cherish.
Paul was a good man, good heart and good intentions, a lovely guy, sharp wit, and quick mind. A crying shame to lose people like Paul at such an early age. Another great post Alan.
Hello Mr. Chrissy from the feedback I would think he's probably the most missed celebrity and visited It doesn't mean so long really. But thank you for the great comment my friend! See you again soon. Alan
Sparkle catcher when you really think about it every time you cut flowers.... I love to see them growing but thank you for your delightful comment 🙂 Alan
Paul O'Grady was one, if not THE best comic/host/advocate for animals, there was. This world was a much better place with him in it. I cried for 2 days after his death. He was such a gentleman. ❤❤
I was gutted when heard of our Paul’s death!!! Thank you so much for sharing and a visit to his last resting place! Heaven is blessed with his big heart of company May he find Peace and Joy!
Hello man cave, he was so lucky it ran in the family. think of that day when both his mother and father had a heart attack at the same time and the father died and then he found out that his girlfriend was pregnant. That's what he call a heck of the day. All the best, Alan
RIP Paul, you brought us much laughter and caring about all living things, it was very sad that you left us so soon, i still watch you in the repeats all the time
Great tribute Alan. Loved Paul, down to earth, incredible wit and great on the Battersea dogs prog. A good all round entertainer. Very sad day when he left us. Never To be forgotten. RIP Paul ❤ xx
Lovely job , really enjoyed it , i went to theatre school with his daughter sharon many yrs ago , when she said her dad was lily savage we all thought yea yea , until she rang his house and lily savage answered on the answer phone lol , happy days. R.I.P Paul you were 1 in a million
I’m currently reading Paul’s book about his life growing up. As I’m reading it, all I can here is Paul’s voice reading it. Not my voice.💕 It’s a wonderful read 🙏🐨🐨🦘
Oh Alan ...that really was a special one!! Absolutely brilliant!! Paul definitely was a genuine caring person who had so much to offer with his wit and comedy. I admire him greatly and especially for his love of animals - that just cements what a truely amazing caring compassionate person he was. If only there were more people in this world like him. The church and the churchyard is absolutely gorgeous. It was so lovely to sneak a peek inside the chapel. Paul O'Grady should be referred to as a national treasure. So sad he died so you as he would have had so much more to offer. You've done him proud Alan - thank you.
Hello Louise, I've got to thank you what I wonderful caring response to my video. People like you just make it a joy 😊 I think the videos probably good because I really liked Paul. I watched him for many years. There was nothing but good vibes in that place. One farmer pulled up and said would you like to stand my land for the night. But I'd already booked a campsite. On the day I did the film I left my drone on the edge. Went back next day and an old chap in his late 80s came walking up and tell me he taken my drone back to his house so he brought it back. How sweet! It had. I love the feel in the area but thank you for such a nice and encouraging comment. Look after yourself. Alan
Hi Alan, I LOVED this. We lose celebrities all the time and we can think, aww I liked them, this is sad, but with Paul, it was very, very different. The tears came that day for me and to be honest, it is still hard to believe he is gone. I loved his humour, his kindness, his rants were hysterical even if he was talking sense, but most of all, his love of animals. Paul, Murphy and Buster and Cilla and all those who went before him. He probably has them roaring on the other side. It's a lovely thought. He will never be forgotten ❤ An irreplaceable legend (PS. I have to agree about his quick wit and Billy Connolly. Billy is a genius at it, my favourite comedian.. well being Scottish, I would say that 😁) Thanks for doing this 😊
That's exactly it Karin he was one of those 1% that was 100% real and you knew it. In the world full of ego, he was refreshing and he was loved for the right reasons. He wasn't an angel and he didn't pretend to be but I loved him. He was always interesting and true and I was so empty when I left. Thank you for your connection. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I will watch out for you in the future 👍 Alan
Such a sincere, genuine and, caring man. So tragic that he’s left us and, there’ll never be another like him. RIP Paul. Thank you so much for the great respect you show whilst visiting the graves. ❤️❤️
Paul was lovely - may he rest in peace. I just want to say though, your commentary and thoughts on life, is what really prompts me to watch. Your empathy for people, respect and outlook on life is so lovely. Thank you.
Hello Sandy that is extremely sweet of you too. Tell me because that obviously means a lot to me. I do enjoy making the films and I feel like I'm talking to my friend and I'm glad it comes over. I will watch out for you in the future? Take care, Alan
Still can't believe he's gone he was such an amazing guy. Loved what he did for charity, I just hope that a statue will be done for him outside Battersea. It would be amazing if they did one of him sat on the bench with Buster. He was such a huge part of Battersea and I definitely think he deserves that.
Thank you for doing this. I always say hello to my mum & friend at their graves like you did to Paul's grave. He was an amazing entertainer & a real person. So caring & loveable. I visited Linda Bellinghams grave when I visited near her resting place. That was a nice church & graveyard on a hill. I sent Paul's husband a card when Paul passed. It was such a shock & upsetting to have lost a special celebrity that I felt so sorry for his husband. RIP Paul ❤Thank you Alan❤
Hello Sue, a left a big parting the people's life that listened and watch them and also the people that worked with him. It was something special. Hope you're doing okay. Alan
@MotorHomeBeepBeep he was loved for sure, I found him very handsome, I remember him on most Haunted and even though everyone was scared he came out with some funny lines. Not often we see a celebrity that really feels like a friend, he definitely was everyone's friend. I hope he knew how loved he was.
I felt a physical punch in the gut when I heard of his passing, I couldn’t believe we’d lost him.., a light went out in the world of entertainment. He was a Birkenhead lad through and through (also my hometown). His humour was intoxicating and he always left us wanting more. Rest In Peace Paul, may you have the softest bed in Heaven. 💔🙏🏻
Loved Paul Ogrady. What a beautiful resting place....They was true words you said at the end Alan. Believe in your self....Thanks for bringing Paul's final resting place...its nice Paul's buried side by side with his ex partner....Paul was. Wat you see is what you got . Down to earth and genuine...I think that was his likeability...a all round entertainer that will be sorely missed....
What a lovely peaceful place to rest in. That is a beautiful coloured flower, Alan. I left the UK for Australia in 1987 so Paul hadn't hit public popularity by then and tv being as it was back then he didn't really appear on our screens unless we got something like Parky and that would be a year or more behind. He really was a nice genuine man, very funny, a loyal friend and a caring animal lover. If there was a person I'd love to sit and have a cuppa with it would be him. We have his Battersea series on from the beginning so it's been nice to watch and I've seen some of his travels on UA-cam, he really did make his docos interesting with a huge injection of humour and that was him in a nutshell. Thanks for making the trip to see him, gone but never forgotten ❤
I loved Paul because he loved animals so much. That's a lovely place to be buried it looks to peaceful, and the old church is beautiful. ❤Rest in Peace Paul you will be missed.❤
Paul O'Grady was indeed a master of all entertainment from tv to radio. Such a caring lovely individual in almost all living species on our planet. Rest peacefully Paul you left a mark on us all..👏👏
Hello Sue, you're not the only one I really miss. Paul and I truly love to do this video and I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. It's very close to Dover. I hope you make it and if you do let me know. I've always wanted to motor home and this is the best one. So much better than the original one. It's like stuck to me like glue. Take care, Alan
Dear Alan, I have to say thank you for this lovely tribute to Paul Ogrady, I absolutely loved the man, he was a angel put on this earth, I have no doubt. He has a husband called Andre who he was married too for about 11 years, he still lives in their house with all the animals, he is so quiet and private but I know that he has been struggling. I live in Kent and intend to go to see Paul’s grave to lay some flowers, so thank you for this lovely tribute Xx RIP Paul, we all loved you Xx
Hi Carol, that's lovely to hear that Andre still lives in the same property with the dogs. I hope he isn't struggling too much but is a lovely spot. If you get the chance you can park and it's very quiet and the massive. Thank you for the encouragement. Regards, Alan
Thank You so much for posting this wonderful tribute video to Paul. The whole video is such a wonderful tribute and you can tell how much you admired and respected Paul. It is still unbelievable that we've lost him, he was such a genuine and warm human being. We could all learn a lesson on how he was, his innate goodness and his love for animals as well. Thank You again for this wonderful video. Look after yourself and Thank You for everything that you do for us. God Bless You. All my very best wishes from Rose.❤🌹
Rose, you have sent a shiver down my back and I love it. There is nothing to thank me for how it's just loving the fact that I could visit Paul's place of rest. I'll tell you the truth. I never like to say rest in peace because I couldn't imagine. Paul resting. He was so vibrant but thank you every so much. I absolutely love to your comment. Much love to you, Alan ❤️
Debbie, it was as they say my pleasure but it really was. I'm just glad that you enjoyed saying the church and where Paul was led to rest. Take care, Alan
That's exactly correct. You felt like it was your friend. Also, when you read his books you get the same feeling. I remember the first time I ever felt that was reading Michael Cain's autobiography but Paul had the same effect on me. Thank you friend Alan
I always love your name. Brummy It was a pleasure to do that one. I know people still feel sad. It's not long since he went but at least we can send out respects. Take it easy. Alan
This is one of your best Alan, and there have been many of those but Paul O’Grady was a national treasure because he was completely genuine and totally himself. He was brave to be himself as Lily and as Paul a gay man before it was accepted by many. He was so entertaining, witty, honest, and a great performer singer and presenter of many TV programmes and series. He was also a great dad. I loved him. He is greatly missed. Thanks for such a lovely video Alan.
Hello Joan it's always super to read your comments. I always look forward to them but I really did want to do this one because I'd followed. Paul, through many of his programs for many, many years and I've got to be honest. I felt a little strange when I got to the end of the film cuz it just doesn't seem long since he's gone but the location was beautiful. I love the old chapped came to talk to me and he told me that people sleeping the church and then had the roof tails pinch many times so they knock them with stolen property on the inside of the tiles and he said there wasn't anything of value left in the church. Isn't that terrible? Anyway, I hope I did Paul. Proud and thank you. Alan
Nice tribute Alan . I only discovered Paul after he died and loved his humour and kindness for animals. I live in Australia and wasn’t aware of his shows.❤
Hello Elizabeth, it's so nice to be so close to you. Why did you have to move so far away? 😂 He was a lovely guy. It's nice to meet you even from this massive distance. Thank you, Alan
I think the people that worked with Paul say I'll. There was so many of them that absolutely adored him. He's not many that have is fighting character. What a lovely guy and thank you for the comment. Alan
What a lovely video for Paul - you did a great job- thanks so much cos its lovely to see hes in a lovely special now that I didn't know- he will be sadly missed my millions of people & never forgotten cos he made so many of us laugh and he was so sweet funny and kind xx❤❤
Thank you Dennis. A lot of people say things very glibly but I really think Paul was. This is a super presenter and a really great guy. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Regards, Alan
I love your name Joy, it's a lovely power name in psychology. They say your most successful if you have a positive name. It was a great guy. I still miss him greatly on the radio on the Sunday. I'm glad you enjoyed. Take care, Alan
That pic you showed of Paul and his beloved dog, Buster. I remember when Paul announced on his show that Buster had passed away. They're both gone now, and not forgetting Olga as well...........so sad 😢
Hey alan. This one broke my heart when Paul died so suddenly. I too loved this man you took him as you found him funny handsome and witty I miss Paul very much. Thank you Alan for going this one brilliantly as ever. R. I. P. SWEETHEART. YOUR SO MISSED. xxxxx 🌹🌹🌹
It's not so often that I celebrity can affect people. But like you it did with me when Paul went because you just did not expect it. I didn't really focus on the number of heart attacks. I knew he had problems but it was so vibrant and then he was gone. But thank you. I know exactly what you mean. Alan
He did his last show on boom radio on Christmas day it was such a great show with Malcom they put it out again when he died as a tribute, he was a Diamond ..one of my favs you have done well put together....cheers Alan
Hello Daniel, thank you for telling me you thought it was one of the best. It was certainly I think the one I enjoy doing the most because I've been such a fan of Paul and his various programs so it means a lot that people enjoy it. Thank you, Alan
Thank you for the reply Alan, well im sure many people will watch this Paul was a very popular man. Thank you for the lovely kind things you said about him.
Thank you loved Paul. I live in Scotland and will never have the opportunity to put flowers on his grave. So nice of you to share your experience. No doubt he will have something to say..
Thank you so much Alan for showing us Paul’s resting place. He was such a beautiful soul. Love your uploads and always find them very interesting. Safe travels xx
Vicky, thank you for watching and I'm so pleased you enjoyed my film about Paul. The next one is one of my favourite people. Also from dad's army. Only you knows It's top secret :-) good night Alan
Hi Alan thank you for doing this one as I loved Paul O'Grady❤. Watching him was a masterclass in sharp wit. His friendship with Cilla was legendary and I am sure they are both together now somewhere having a laugh😅. Beautiful church, beautiful grounds. R.I.P Paul and Cilla.
That's exactly the best way to think about him. Sheila, the fun that he had and it's career. I'm with his friends and more more importantly the animals that he loved. Thank you for the great comment Alan
Its always upsetting when a celebrity dies, but the morning i heard he had died it really upset me. i have always liked this guy right from the start, what you see is what you get, like you said i wish i could have met him, i loved his humour and like you said his attitude to anything that was injustice and his love for animals. i would love to visit his grave but i live in north herts so its bit of a run for me but i will put it on me bucket list. Thanks Alan another good one mate.
Hello James, yes, I think this one was a special one. It was such an honest guy who stood up for the wrongs in the world and on top of that hilariously funny It's very hard to think of anyone that says good as Paul. I hope you make it mate all the best, Alan
Aww Alan this was so heartwarming to watch it brought tears …. But in a nice way everyone loved Paul he was one of a kind the world was a better place with him in it thank you Alan for sharing ❤
Hi Rowan, I think it's because it's only a few months. It seems like you should still be around and we never thought it was going to die at that age but I think he had nine heart attacks. Anyway, thank you for the lovely comment as always. It's nice to see your hat and face :-) See you soon. Alan
Paul was so special what you said about his interviewing is true, loved it when he had little Buster up on his desk. There is something about Paul that set him apart, genuine guy. I still find it hard that he’s not here, I miss him💔💔💔👍

My pleasure Kevin. Literally glad you enjoy. Alan
Allen respect your tribute to Paul was beautifully ❤
Ingrid, thank you 🙂
Thank you for doing this.
Thank you, cry I don't know what to say. I just felt emotional on the day and I hope that he gets a good headstone soon. But thank you. Darling ❤️
Thanks Alan, you spoke Of Paul so well, I absolutely loved him, a true Gentleman. He sure is missed
What a beautiful tribute thankyou xxxx
Thank you Michelin. Very kind. People like you make it worthwhile. Alan
Lovely tribute ,RIP Paul 🌹🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🥀🥀🥀🌹🥀🌹🌹🌹🥀🌹🥀🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🥀🥀🥀♥️
A beautiful tribute for Paul Well done
Thank you every so much. Mark, it was a good one for me to do as well. Glad you enjoyed!
Very interesting personal story Terry
Loved Paul, he was amazing. Still can't believe he's gone. R. I.P Paul, gone but never forgotten. ❤❤❤
I loved Paul because he loved animals so much. That's a lovely place to be buried it looks to peaceful, and the old church is beautiful.
❤Rest in Peace Paul you will be missed.❤
I remember when Buster died. I was in tears, Paul loved that dog so very much.
Awe bless him its so sad ...I hope they are reunited now, ❤@@pathopewell1814

Paul O'Grady was indeed a master of all entertainment from tv to radio. Such a caring lovely individual in almost all living species on our planet. Rest peacefully Paul you left a mark on us all..👏👏
Rip Paul can’t believe you’re gone 😢thank you so very much for sharing hugs Shelley ❤❤❤
Lovely tribute, Rest in peace Paul
I miss Paul so much. Would love to visit his grave one day. Such a wonderful man. Loving your new motor home too xx
Such a sad loss of a genuinely nice man. Very respectfully done Alan. Thank you (mick) 👍
The little things as always. It's the nail on the head. Thank you
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep thanks Alan. Enjoy your Bank Holiday 🙂👍
Dear Alan,
I have to say thank you for this lovely tribute to Paul Ogrady, I absolutely loved the man, he was a angel put on this earth, I have no doubt.
He has a husband called Andre who he was married too for about 11 years, he still lives in their house with all the animals, he is so quiet and private but I know that he has been struggling.
I live in Kent and intend to go to see Paul’s grave to lay some flowers, so thank you for this lovely tribute Xx
RIP Paul, we all loved you Xx
Hi Carol, that's lovely to hear that Andre still lives in the same property with the dogs. I hope he isn't struggling too much but is a lovely spot. If you get the chance you can park and it's very quiet and the massive. Thank you for the encouragement. Regards, Alan
Great Tribute ...born not far from me in Tranmere Birkenhead (about 5 mins away ) loved him great guy
There's not many people I miss from the telly but I really miss him and the love of the animals 😢
Me too Julie 💝
Beautiful tribute to Paul thankyou Alan your a beautiful careing person for showing us some lovely tributes to all the stars xx God bless you Paul ❤️
Debbie, it was as they say my pleasure but it really was. I'm just glad that you enjoyed saying the church and where Paul was led to rest. Take care, Alan
Great video again Alan . When a celebrity passes away you normally think thats sad but when paul passed away it was like losing a friend
That's exactly correct. You felt like it was your friend. Also, when you read his books you get the same feeling. I remember the first time I ever felt that was reading Michael Cain's autobiography but Paul had the same effect on me. Thank you friend Alan
Thank you again Alan, that was a wonderful tribute to Paul. We really enjoyed it.
Alan
Thanks so much Alan absolutely loved Paul national treasure missed beyond words heartbreaking still so lovely video thank u rip Paul ❤️
Thank you, Frances ☺️
Nice tribute Alan . I only discovered Paul after he died and loved his humour and kindness for animals. I live in Australia and wasn’t aware of his shows.❤
Hello Elizabeth, it's so nice to be so close to you. Why did you have to move so far away? 😂 He was a lovely guy. It's nice to meet you even from this massive distance. Thank you, Alan
Well presented for Paul, the man/woman 😢of the world, a talented individual, rest at peace
How wonderful. Well done Allen. I don't think anyone would have a bad word to say about Paul. He was so funny, even when serious . Greatlittle tribute
I think the people that worked with Paul say I'll. There was so many of them that absolutely adored him. He's not many that have is fighting character. What a lovely guy and thank you for the comment. Alan

A beautiful location for a lovely genuine man. A wonderful tribute. Thank you Alan. Safe travels.
I love your name Joy, it's a lovely power name in psychology. They say your most successful if you have a positive name. It was a great guy. I still miss him greatly on the radio on the Sunday. I'm glad you enjoyed. Take care, Alan
A lovely man his deep emotional connection with animals was so good the world would be a much better place with more Paul’s in it sleep tight ❤
100% jo
That pic you showed of Paul and his beloved dog, Buster. I remember when Paul announced on his show that Buster had passed away. They're both gone now, and not forgetting Olga as well...........so sad 😢
Thankyou for this...beautiful resting place. Paul was a national treasure, you did him proud. ❤
Thank you my friend

That's very kind of you Maureen. It was my pleasure and thank you
Alan
Beautiful Grave RIP PAUL SUCH A Great Man with a amazing Heart 🕊️🕊️🙏🙏💙🕯️🕯️💐🌹✨✨
He did his last show on boom radio on Christmas day it was such a great show with Malcom they put it out again when he died as a tribute, he was a Diamond ..one of my favs you have done well put together....cheers Alan
Hello Daniel, thank you for telling me you thought it was one of the best. It was certainly I think the one I enjoy doing the most because I've been such a fan of Paul and his various programs so it means a lot that people enjoy it. Thank you, Alan
Nice one Alan. Thanks for this lovely tribute to a wonderful man. 👏👏👏👍
Hi Pay it was a pleasure to do. I'm glad you enjoyed. Take care mate
Thank you for the reply Alan, well im sure many people will watch this Paul was a very popular man. Thank you for the lovely kind things you said about him.
Hi Martin, no, thank you for taking the time to speak to me and that's very nice of you I hope you'll keep in touch. Alan
I still find it hard that he’s not here, I miss him💔💔💔👍
My hubby met him, they just exchanged a glance & a smile while he was on a stairwell by the Thames. RIP Paul O'Grady 💔💞💞💞💞🩵🌈🌈
Lovely man Paul. And your lovely too great video thanks xx
