Amazing video, I really appreciate the bit at the end about consistency above the rest. As much as I learn while watching, it's hard to apply everything all at once. It's awesome to hear that there's another heavy sweater out there, and as gross as I can feel about it at times, it keeps me cool but I never knew about the sweat rate calculators! That's incredibly helpful, and I hope to see so much more from you!
I gotta do that sweat test. On a warm day I sweat so much running my local trails even with dry water crossings my shoes and clothes are completely soaked from sweating.
Same! When I get home my wife thinks I got jumped by a pack of rambunctious squirtles with cool sunglasses on...I set up a water station at my car most days and do 5-10 mile loops to refill nutrition on hot days on the trail.
Great stuff. The part about consistency had me cringing. It's my biggest weak spot, with working 2 jobs, 60+ hours a week, while training for my first 100k. I think I hope that all the tips and videos will make up for my inconsistency, but on race day, the truth hurts! 😂
