Mig 29 actually decent fighter but underrated. But due to it's old avionics, it is going to outdated for our Navy. We should procure 26 Rafal as soon as possible and TEDBF in our service. On the other hand all 56 mig 29 of Navy should upgrade with Uttam AESA radar, Astra mk2, mk3 and close in weapons system. Since Mig 29 is extremely maneuverable it will be good choice for high altitude warfare in Ladakh

India should bring 21 frames lying in almost new conditions in Russia and make for it all other equipments developed for Tejas mark II and Amka including jet engines.

sir may I ask you if tejas is replacing role of mig21 bis which is a point interceptor (for which canon/gun is mandatory). So why tejas is not having any? If it's light composite weight make it shaky then instead of 20mm , we can go for atleast 50bmg anti material gun.
