I saved that for a nice snowy morning and a cup of coffee and wow, was I right. Great work. Beyond the amazing painting, the production quality of your videos just keeps getting better and better. Masterwork, Mark
Thanks so much! I think by initially sketching in some levels it allows for multiple "stopping points" where the mini looks fine, depending on how far you want to push things.. 😁
Wow. You're making me want to go back to the WIP on my table top and add about three times as many highlights and three times as much shading as I've got on it right now! One of these days, my face game will be, well....somewhat close to yours. Excellent video, sir!
Love, how he came out! Really outstanding. Am always happy to see you painting more Shatterpoint. I am mostly following your guides, and there is so much more miniatures i need your inspiration with ;-)
I’m sure dotting the eyes and providing pupils of a Kowakian monkey-lizard is just a normal lovely day in the Life of Maestro. cough “show-off” cough Happy Year of the Snake Maestro !!
Great details, and fun examples of picking specifics to focus on for the character. Helps give me some ides for upcoming figures even though I don't play Shatterpoint. Thanks for the great tutorials!
AMAZING VIDEO!! i have been waiting for a new release and this one was fantastic. your choice to not use washes on this min as well as in several other videos is a refreshing touch compared compared to the majority of painting videos on you tube. from a technical standpoint i was curious as to why you don't use washes. is it because it can dull down the paints, or just a stylistic approach. thanks!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I do still sometimes use washes, depending on what kind of level I'm aiming for. If I'm aiming for a high standard however, I usually favour a more controlled approach.. 😀
Face is fantastic! Fantastic job as usual, I really like that armour, it's very interesting ..and that monkey lizard? Thing ain't laughing as much now :I
@@Sorastro Nice, I´m currently debating whether or not to get the expansion. But I still have most of the Dathomir pack to paint, so far I only finished Mother Talzin.
@@vytautasstankus4875 Thank you! Yes, I'm chipping through the unlockable characters over on Patreon (and will be publishing the "Meteor" class soon...) 😁
Hi! I like them a lot! I think they're especially "approachable" for newer painters. I still prefer the finish of the Scalecolor Artist paints for painting skin, and I personally like a heavier body paint (the PA are pretty runny out of the bottle). But overall, I think they're a great range, that most viewers have pretty good access to. 😀
The face is amazing!!! Blown away…. This is next level painting…
Thanks so much, Brian! 😊

Thanks a lot! Yes, I do my best to remove mold lines, although they do sometimes sneak past... 😁
