In this video, i use woodworking to build a DIY table inspired by the James Webb space telescope using hand tools power tools and wood finish. NASA has to do with astronomy and also spacex, epoxy resin was used in this build so it's technically an epoxy table, i dont think its a river table. Beginner floating shelf genius idea. I Built A Space Telescope In My Garage. I Built The James Webb Space Telescope In Real Life... I Built A Space Telescope In My Dining Room

You asked for feedback regarding the routering so here it is!
-Rule is you want to cut away as much material prior to using the router so that your router cuts away the least material necessary.
-Use your right hand to determine the direction of the bit spinning (thumb is the bit, direction the fingers curl is the direction of the spin). You always push the work against the spin.
-The times you had kickback you were using the router to make cuts (not just remove the edge). This caused kickback because (a) the bit was doing work both against the spin and with it and (b) cutting too much material too quickly causing the bit to flex. Both of these are shown in slomo in some youtibe channels about usong routers.
So cute to see your dad! I'm sure he's proud of you. Excellent work and excellent video.
congratulations! what a satisfying build to watch.
Really love the work you make the table and even edit this video, the tiny amount of weird stuff play at background is just subtle enough to notice.
It's like playing game, "Where's Waldo.." while watching you do all those stuff. Good stuff.
Amazing work, both in the camera/editing and the table. You have two works of art here brother. Very inspiring!
Using a router like that to make the perfect cuts, maybe next time use your jigsaw to saw around the whole thing leaving a 3-5mm edge to shave off with the router. Thats how I use em. Basically what you did at the end of the video.
Thats also how you prevent that 'close call' you had cause it wont have enough wood to dig in to.
Also routers have a preferred direction. Unless you know what you are doing, you should avoid turning into the piece, just like a mill.
Your channel is seriously underrated. You need more subscribers.
Do you think you could do a video on some projects that only use a drill and circular saw? I'm about to start my own workshop, and those are the tools I'm having to start with.
I love the secret cubby in the middle
Proud of you for all the hard work you put into your craft!
Personally, I love it! Buildling a JWSTable is a brilliant idea, to begin with. Executing it so well, and with great editing and entertainment value (thank you, Cosmo) it was fun to watch and share with my wife. Good luck with your channel.
Wonderful effort. That was fun to watch. Thanks you!
BEAUTIFUL table. Bet that thing can pick up some crazy space images lol. As always, your memes and comedy are on point 👌

Praise from Dad is the best!
Now you need to make Settlers of Catan pieces to the same scale as the hexagons of your table.
Outstanding
Saw this on Reddit lol, I want to eat your table :)
كفو يا امير !

Far out !!!
very cool!
even though that is quite a bit of ork, I would still sand it and polish it so it's perfectly straight without any waves. but I have an OCD like that.

Holy Moses, I have enough trouble with making a wooden table never mind a NASA one 🤣
This is amazing and I know many people who would love to buy one.
Edit: I work at NASA. Where can I buy the mirrors? I light try my hand at this
You can buy the table in the video if you're interested

Welp, I suppose it's typical but I couldn't tell if your dad was pleased or displeased either.

God I hate junk consumption culture dressed up as creative construction. Try making something with hand tools and simple materials that you have to use skill and sweat to get into shape. What’s the point of this silly junk that requires so many ugly and obnoxiously loud sweatshop made tools ? Better to live with nothing.
