I remmember this arcade game back in 87' 88' and 89' at my local mall. how many ppl where dropping those quarters to go all the way to the end to fight Sagat as rhe main boss. those were the fun days going to the mall in those days. awsome to update this Old School classic.
This takes back to a time when everything wasn't an over-the-top combo. Because when everything is an over-the-top combo, nothing is an over-the-top combo.
Street Fighter One is a love letter from fans with how accurate to Street Fighter Zero/Alpha series. thus making Street Fighter Zero/alpha series a prequel according to its timeline
I'm trying to play this on my mini pc. It boots up fine but stays windowed. When I did change it to full screen I can tell it was full screen but you only saw it in a corner. Playing on my tv btw.
@DoeRecompense Yeah you can't play this mugen full screen, I edit the video to look full screen so you can see the gameplay better. Idk why this game doesn't have a fullscreen mode but shit happens
Hey Geki I got it decent enough to enjoy on my tv. Seems like I am configuring my buttons wrong. It’s a 4 button fighter but it seems @$$ backwards when I config my control pad. What the correct button layout for a joystick?
If you ever get the time to, try to create a tactical RPG mugen game with all Capcom characters from all Capcom games.... A tactical RPG designed like Fire Emblem, Project X Zone, Suikoden, with a 10% of Endless Frontier, and a 5% of Unicorn Overlord.
Eh, I don't think this remake is so much better than the original. 1) No bonus stages? 2) It makes no sense to have super combo moves in this game. They don't have them in SF2 and putting them in this game makes them seem really out of place. 3) I liked how the original has you go country by country to beat up the 2 local fighters there. This version doesn't which also makes no sense. 4) I liked how the original shows your beaten up opponents' faces. This version doesn't. 5) In the original, the special moves seemed overpowered. Here they're REALLY underpowered. It's fine to tone them down but this new version toned them down too much. Also, if this new SF1 is now official canon, I'm more convinced than ever that Mike & Balrog are indeed the same guy.
Lol, It's just a mugen. And yes it's not completely better than the original sf one but it has improvements that I wish was in the hard ass Original SF1. And no, Mike and Balrog are different people. Capcom confirmed it in Balrogs ending in SFV Arcade mode in the SF1 mode.
Bro Mike and Balrog or not the same guy, yeah sure Balrogs original name was M.Bison which was short for Mike Bison sounding familiar to Mike Tyson plus, I think this is better, the original could barely read inputs, the combat was horrible but it was reasonable so for me, this is a better sf1
Yeah, though fr, I understand why they say they're similar. But capcom intended them to be different characters. Mike isn't shadaloo member like Balrog, and in SFV when you use Balrog in the SF1 Arcade mode and beat it. The ending will show Balrog celebrating aa he sees people running to him. He smiles listening to them as they pass him, he looks over confused seeing that they went over to the Real Mike from SF1. As the people cheer "Way to go Mike!" "Nice job Mike!" Balrog says quote "Mike? Wait...That's not me!" And wakes up as it's reviled he was having a nightmare.
@@GekiPurple maybe there related or friends? That would be a cool plot twist, I feel like Mike should replace Boxer in SF6 if Boxer even is coming in sf6
I like how Capcom wanted to bury this game so badly, it created 3 prequels to street fighter 2.
Right 😂, capcom even created the Street Fighter 1 Path in SFV.
if only capcom remake this with SF alpha model 🔥
That's not why they did it. That's your assumption they wanted to bury a classic like this game.
@@donniebrasco1364 SF1 is anything but "Classic" lmao
It's not great compared to the other games, yeah, but it's still important to the series.
If this new improved version came to PS4, PS5, Xbox One X, Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch as options might be a great idea.
it s a fan made game pal using Mugen program so no consoles included ! only pc
awesome! the balance of the game is so good.

Yeah, many SF1 Mugens capture the old feeling of the original Arcade game but update it to make some of it more fluent then it was back then.

Wow, 20 years later and people are still playing this game…Awesome.
Now this is what I’m talking about, the angry video game nerd would definitely call this street fighter the good edition.
you know AVGN ? James would find something wrong about it that s his job !
25:22 BGM good 👍
6:39 that’s a Final Fight CD track. Banger!!
So much love here.
Pleasant to watch this after playing the original in the 80's 😅
Thanks to the GENIUS that fixed this game!
they didnt fix anything Bub they just made a fan game using Mugen ! that s it !
@@manafbenayache1880 That's what I meant. They "Fixed" the game, making it playable in my opinion.

@@ahmadshaffibinramli9395 Yeah, it goes from SF, SF Alpha, SF2, SF4, SFV, SF3, and then SF6.

That sucks!! My eyes too bad to play it the regular way. I’ll see how it’ll looks on my laptop then.
guess i m gonna make a mugen game myself... again

@DoeRecompense idk it's been a while, I'll check it again if have time. But I think there's videos on mugen button layouts for sf2 games
This game evince more clarity and fight impacts. .the best version.
It should be called super street fighter 1 🤣
Is The Shoryuken Unreliable Or Ryu Can't Do It?
It works. The problem was at the time. I sucked at shoryukens, so I played like a doofus lol
If only it wasn’s relegated to MUGEN...
you re a console player right ? poor kid !!
@@manafbenayache1880 I play PC, too. I’m just saying that I wish it got ported outside MUGEN.
It looks the controls are much easier
Definitely, though Mugen games differ when it comes to how strict moves are.

The special moves should take a bit more damage and supers should at least do a 3rd
