I know that spot. I was there one of the last trips of last winter, landed a nice fresh hen there and another one downstream at the steep slippery trail spot

Nice one as well. Winter steelhead are mostly native but Dec and Jan can bring in last summer Steelhead which are normally bigger. Last migration this year so you might see hatcheries into Jan. I normally focus on winters down in the valley or skip over to another river on the same day. Mahalo bra

What river, I used to live over on the coast, Tillamook to be exact.
