I'm too scared to open up my heart anymore for love after being abused by my ex who is a narcissist woman for 3 years. I thought of sacrificing all my time to be there for her might change things to be better but the way she treated me is impossible to bear. As a man, the physical beatings I can tolerate because she's a woman and doesn't have the strength. But the mental abuse is what I cannot handle. Even now I try to push myself back up again but every night as I lie down on the bed, I still have flashbacks of what she did to me and tears just flow down on my face. Some people will make fun of this kind of scenario but trust me. There are people out there that just wants to see you hurt.

For many years I tried to protect myself by telling me that I wont get hurt if I wont let anyone else get close to me anymore. That was cage made of fear. After I met the right healthy stable person, I started to let my guards/walls down bit by bit, and so happy I did, shes my soulmate. I try to see the past as a lesson, and have mercy on myself, that we act by the current means we have on each stage in life. Hope you health and wealth!
