A few speed runs today, 0-5- and 0-60 and new top speed! I Mod the stock condor exhaust a little more, cut the cat out, grind inside the header flange connection and weld it all back together. There is no direct fit header for the condor 150/250, this should work good hopefully. Aaaand my KIPA carb came in!!
ABOUT THIS BIKE: This Condor has been engine swapped with a CG250 off a TBR7 as of 4/1/23 here is the video • (E6) RPS Condor 150cc ... . Prior videos were of the CG150 engine.

Unbox, assemble and review this bike with my opinions on it along the way, good and bad. I make these videos so you know what to expect when you purchase one of these Chinese bikes, I keep it 100% honest with what I find. Assembly is about 1 hour.

You are welcome. I loved the key tag and surprise sticker!
Do you or have you greased the rear axle and bearings on the china bikes when you get them? I have seen a few assembly/first build videos where the people recommend that. You seem pretty comfortable for the china bikes so I feel comfortable with your experience.
Ive heard that from others, but never had an issue. The bearings are sealed non greaseable style, just like front wheel bearings. If I ever take the wheel off I would upgrade to better quality bearings for sure though
Set up Whitey for road rides and this one for trail rides. Street tires/knobbies, long legs/torque.
One of them is going to FL eventually. I love my knobbies!
when could you race the condor cg250 vs the hellcat 190? or have you already?
I haven't yet, I just did the timed runs. I have to find someone that is my weight to do a good comparison on a race head to head
It doesn't sound bad or to loud on this end. In my opinion it does sound like it's to much air flow to me it reminds of like when you cut off your muffler and cat off on stock car and run it like that usually means rich and more bottom end power and less top end but I'm going off only the sound when you first cut it off I also wouldn't think that the pipe is over sized for that engine so it kinda throws me off 🤔 on what it doing to it . The sprockets definitely will make a difference and change in performance 💪👍🛠️✌️🏍️.
I've always found more backpressure, more low end power and lean, less high RPM power if you cut cat off without tuning...
17t is the biggest, but use an angle grinder on the sprocket cover (small 1/2" on top left for starter mount) and an 18T fits.
Grind more down of the sprocket cover (front side) and a 19t will fit.
I've never had to grind a cover to fit a 17t on any of the dozens I've done. 18t is something I've never tried
@@MotoCheezyou don't need to grind anything for the 18t. Just take the chain off the rear sprocket, until front sprocket cover is installed, and it'll fit without grinding . But for the 19t you will need a little angle grinding. Try out the 18t first. The chain will mark the sprocket cover where you need to grind it down for the 19t.
@ProDigit80 the cover barely fits with a 17T, maybe thread through...
Fingers crossed we can get a house build timelapse! Safe driving Cheezy :D
I am set for that to happen. Hopefully it works
Like that beat like Zelda or something🌚
The stock version is pretty impressive
My redheaded stepdaughter was sitting in the living room when you said that!!
Pretty soon you're going to need ZR'S on that thing.
Haha. My wife and 2 kids are redheads!
Nah, I was just kidding. I don't have a stepdaughter, lol
🤣😅 got.me
you think this would be a good bike to buy to learn on?
Definitely, it light, low to the ground and not overpowered stock. It's not good for the highway tho
hold on there is a 5 second 0-50 difference between the whitey 190 and stock 150 condor or is this a typo? "STOCK RPS Condor w 150 motor performance, 12 second 0-50 mph, top speed 62 mph". maybe you meant 0-60 12 seconds.
The 190 is the larger motor I swapped in whitey, it's 125cc stock
You can do a 19t on the front, and a 29t rear. I run that on my 150, and get 74mph with someone cutting my wind. The CG250 should be able to do it without anyone cutting the wind.
Additionally, you can find 140 70 12 tires for the rear (and put the rear 130 70 12 on the front).
I guess if the CG250 tops out at 8.25k rpm you should be able to do 82 mph.. who knows...
17t biggest that will fit in the front. (With cover on) Just not enough HP to reach 74
Can't wait to the new Florida house!
Me either. Leaving Wednesday to go down. Clay dumped there today
Good.
7:36 can't wait to get it 😊
😁
its not cheating as long as you do them all in the same spot. i need a little help with my honda trail 125. i dont think chaining my sprockets will help. because in high i cant even max out the RPM in high gear. but yet its to high geared to really go off roading. i'm thinking of maybe going from the stock 125 to a 143big bore kit to try and get a little more power. BUT i hate to make changes to something that is running great already.
Go up a couple teeth in the rear.
Sounds better than battery lawnmower 😂😂😂
😅 💯
YES!!!!!!
Any plans for a 300 or 350cc?
Like a chinabike review?
Ya or a swap
If I found a cheap donor. This was a $300 swap!
is it geared the same as the zs190? also i dunno if i told you but the condor kick start lever does worth with zs190 with a tiny bit or grinding. if its the lever i have
Pretty close, I'll have to double-check what RPM it is at 50 on both
@@MotoCheez what size is front and rear sprocket on the condor cg250?
also i dunno if i told you but the condor kick start lever does worth with zs190 with a tiny bit or grinding. if its the lever i have
The front is 17t, not sure if rear, it's still stock. Good info on the Kickstarter!
I have switched over to a thumb throttle since then. But I originally bought the black Nibbi 1/4-turn twist throttle when I first upgraded the stock one on my Hawk. It was a great throttle for the money when I was using it. The inside has a nylon pulley with a brass bushing in it to help smooth out cable pull. But you will have to upgrade the throttle cable to a different one if your stock cable has that metal 90-degree elbow that screws into your stock twist throttle. I also had a pair of neon pink & grey Pro Taper lock-on grips as well, the throttle side grip came with extra pieces to match your pull style to your throttle. So I used the style that matched the Nibbi's stock throttle tube.
One other thing that might help with getting more power to the ground is upgrading your clutch springs. I watched a few videos of another guy who has the Brozz Recon and he upgraded his stock clutch springs with heavy duty ones. The stock ones were so soft he could squish them by hand. I've been wanting to get some for my Hawk but I've been procrastinating because it was winter. I don't remember the YT'er who posted the videos but he used spring kit No. CSK41. I don't know if you shop on Dennis Kirk, but the kit goes for $10.70 there. Amazon has them too but they're going for $17 there.
Yeah I put a quarter turn on my bras 250 in Florida and the cable was too short. Yeah I saw the clutch was slipping a little bit and I was thinking about putting a washer behind the springs. But it's not horrible It's not like I got a wheelie a lot anyway
@@MotoCheez I've also been trying to research which other air-cooled dirt bike engine the CG250 might share clutch disks with. Usually if you can find a popular model that has a lot of upgrade options you can share parts with then you'd have several choices for better parts. I know the CRF230 has a few decent choices for clutch disks but I don't know if they're similar. The only real way to know is to buy some and match them up.
I have a link on my website, can't remember what else it fits
@@MotoCheez I think before I buy any clutch parts I'll give your idea of using washers a try first. They're cheaper and I can take a quick spin up the street to the hardware store. I also have some other parts I need to install, I've just been waiting for nicer weather to show up. Besides some nice warm days here and there the cold has been clinging on for dear life. I'll be glad when it finally goes away. :)
Ha ha ha love the at least its not a bud light. Lmfao
Wonder who'd catch that 🤣
I love my Condor
Me tooooo
How much would you want to do mine 😂🙌🏾
😂. Sorry, I don't
Meh, those E3 plugs are gimmicky. I used to sell them for outdoor power equipment, it's mostly marketing hype. They're totally fine, but no better than an NGK or other quality plug. Definetly better than an old Chinese plug 😆
I think it sounds actually a little quitter.. Maybe just me.. What E bike are you getting in?
DYU a ooter style, then the MAGICYCLE deer on way
