CYN vs Grey Knights | Murder Drones x Warhammer 40k Animation

- I decided to do this project after constantly fantasizing about CYN being annihilated by a space marine.
All Murder Drones-related assets, some of the props and environment assets used in the animation were made by me in Blender. The animation and rendering were done in Unreal Engine 5.

@@TheDiamondMan_3 Gray Knights are psychic wizards covered in enough armor to make an M1 Abram’s jealous. The Gray Knights who are so far above even Space Marines who themselves are already far above the average man that they considered Demigods. Cyn never stood a chance against one Knight let alone three. Credit to Cyn though, she could probably kill a Space Marine if she was in her eldritch form but anything beyond that would more likely be suicide to Cyn. Like I said “A baby with a pistol VS a soldier with an AR15.”.

Funny thing is, that isn’t Cyn. In this specific scene, that version of her is just a puppet. Her real body takes up the entire mansion and all the drones in it. So all that stab would accomplish is making things worse. The moment that electricity thing turns off, mansion goes bye bye into a blackhole. If not the planet.

For those who are just introduced to 40k and is ur first time seeing grey knights:
Grey knights are a special marine chapter the military arm of the ordo malice they deal with demons and fights them most of the entire time a secretative,bunch known to kill entire regiments of soilders to stay unknown all are psychic and can form a new entity by combining there minds into one like if they say form Hyperion they psychically meld there minds and fight as one making them dam well near impossible to kill
Nearly anything from WH40k could have a very good chance against CYN, let alone absolutely annihilating the Murder Drones universe.

Foreshadowing that no, this fight is _not_ going to be anything like she's seen before, that these "Astartes" are a serious opponent, that they have a good chance of turning her into scrap metal.

kind of weird to see astartes actually caring about mortals enough to tell them to GTFO before a fight starts, and honestly treat them with a certain amount of respect. then again these are the grey knights who may be one of the few people in 40k to have basic common sense.

na those citizens are either gonna be executed or mind wiped, because the gray knights are HIGHLY SECRETIVE, I'd wager they're more so than the Dark Angels. As for having respect for the citizens and care for them you should look at the salamanders space marines or the lamenters. They would rather die then throw lives away meaninglessly.

To those who say CYN wouldn’t die this easily, do you have any idea how broken Warp Magic is? Or even what Grey Knights deal with daily? CYN is one in the thousands of world-level ending threats that Grey Knights are forced to deal with.
Could their opponents also have destroyed the universe if they had not been killed? There was nothing stopping her from creating a black hole, leaving a crater in place of the house, except for the force of the plot

And as for the black hole, please the gray knights control the warp and this shit is able to manipulate space and time, plus affect the physical strength of the owner (the champion of Khorne Kharn could use this power to turn entire worlds into ashes and cope with the titan of the emperor class alone, and these giants the size of entire skyscrapers are literally walking cities stuffed with weapons).

@@_hhvvcfcfhvcc The demons of the warp are not all smart, it's a fact, but most of them can eat planets for breakfast. Their appearance in the real world alone can destroy the planet on which this happens or drive all the inhabitants crazy. It is not the intellect that decides, but the advantage in power.

She’s not dead. A stab in the face has been proven to not be enough to kill a solver infected drone, multiple times. Let alone Cyn Herself.

Warhammer Cosmology is Tier-0 with scaling, lore, Warp, etc.
Saying that is just a galaxy because the main focus is one is not accurate.

Do you even know Warhammer 40K? The grey knights are like gods among humans and all robots alike, they can only be matched with the Custodains and the emperor of mankind.

Idk why you will expect the Grey Knights loose they fighter bigger and deadlier enemys with world ending powers

You could easily make a follow up on this with phase two of the CYN bossfight. They very clearly thought that that stab was lethal but the core of a drone is in the chest. Since the Knight deactivated his power CYN could transform into her eldritch form and call upon other infected drones for an epic second phase! With loads of drones to keep the knights busy CYN might even find openings for shenanigans, the little reallity shattering goober she is!
The grey knight sliced her chest before stabbing her in the head with the powersword.

@@TheDiamondMan_3yes, he cut her chest, but in the animation you can see that she did not die from this, but only from a blow to the head, which means, logically, the core is not affected and regeneration is still there
Calm Down all of yas, the grey knight was covered in soul flame, whatever WAS inside the sillica animus has bin fried. technically she would melt and the entire mansion would catch aflame.

The fact the grey knight's speech was longer then the fight was quite accurate
Great job, I loved how went the extra step and reanimated Cyn's entrance instead of just taking that part from the original episode. I'd like to just point out though that when a drone is using the absolute solver they bring down their pinkie, and also I think Cyn could survive a head stab, the absolute solver has the ability to regenerate parts of a drone, also I feel like how Cyn was fighting would just have been a fraction of her power, because she has the power to form black holes and can turn in to her eldritch monster thingy.
Eldritch moster thingies are the Imperium's specialty
that is not a sword. is a force blade, meaning that cyn would actually get damage to her soul. also the GK was channeling his warpflame through. she might not be dead but clearly took actual damage from the encounter.
So @@Ghostx357, drones have souls now? Also while I don't know practically anything about warhammer, I'd think it'd have a different affect on robots.
@@MegaLoss-hj5hl they can be corrupted by the warp, they have the concept of soul like the machine spirit of the tech priest. the same concept apply to daemon engines.

This is such an insane Matchup, and despite what many seem to think, far from a one sided one too.
Basic Solver powers are basically just psyker powers but that don't rely on the Warp. What Cyn is shown capable of however?
Even while only partially taking over an Host for under a few seconds, she (or, more accurately, They since its the solver hivemind fighting) were capable of completely destroying a reinforced bunker wall with a single flick of their hand, meaning even the strongest Ceramite is likely not an Issue.
The solver itself and the way it works actually has serius implications of it "hacking" the fabric of reality, wich is where the telechinesis comes from, wich is not dissimiliar from what a Gravemind of Halo's flood does, or for a somewhat similiar example in 40k, what the mechanivores did, devouring "space-time" or something, Meaning that Cyn, by herself, without additional hosts, is comparable to a DAoT WMD From the Men of Iron.
Then there's the Grey Knights.
These MOFOs have been shown to solo Blood Thirsters.
Need i say more?
They are incredibly powerfull Psykers, can counter any OTHER psyker, were created by Malcador, _from the Gene Seed of the Emperor,_ have virtually Unbreakable wills in the most literal sense possible (only one that was ever corruptef was in the presence *of Slaanesh itself,* and tried to STAB The Chaos God), wich again not super usefull since Cyn can't controll human minds AFAIK But you never know, and are overall the second or third most powerfull, non-named individuale in the Imperium
Imo the Grey Knights win in the situation in the Video (3v1 at the Gala), but probably loose at MINIMUM One of their numbers due to Cyn beeing a machine, and thus having no Soul (in the way 40k intends them, a connection to the warp), making her immune to Psyckers, and that's if they figure out how to make sure Cyn stays down.
If we do the entire Grey Knights chapter vs the Absolute Solver, then things change
I do just want to add one thing and that is all machines can be targeted by pyshic powers it’s humans with the pariah gene that can not be targeted by psychic powers/ block them.

Idk know who the grey knights are but this it pretty accurate. People in the murder drones community tend to forget cyn isnt immortal, and can make mistakes. Sure she can change her form into an infinite centipide and can squish, rip apart, or throw people, but she can make mistakes like taking to long or getting distracted.
ok but seriously, AMAZING WORK!! the camera angles and the general models for the characters are amazing, especially because the creators of murder drones dont have their models open for public use, therfore the creators of this animation had to do alot of analysis of the murder dornes models for cyn and the humans!! Huge respect for that. And the animation is super smooth! The only critisism i have is that theres some clipping with cyns visor (cant blame ya, even the official murder drones animations have errors, especially in ep 1) and that cyn wouldnt die from that. Other than that, perfect!
So who in your opinion who would win because I don't know anything about the grey knights, so I can't exactly make a fair statement about who would exactly would win in this battle.

I do have an idea for an animation, but I am debating on whether it would be a good idea to do it or not.

I have some gripes about this, especially how underpowered Cyn was.
Most of her abilities were ignored, if any one of them were included then she'd be able to stomp the Grey Knights

If it functions anything like an EMP (Which it seems like it does), then Uzi has already resisted one back in episode 1, no doubt Cyn could do the same
And even then, Cyn could take them on without the Solver, she scales far higher and far faster

If it was, it wouldn't have done anything
Absolute Solver isn't something organic like Tatsumaki's telekinesis or anything similar, it's a program
If the field really did affect the mind, then there would be no mind to affect besides the humans since Cyn and the Solver are sentient AI and those don't have minds, only their programming

Cyn is a machine so unless the soul flame can kill an necron or man of iron, then her program would still be alive.

@@JakeBaldwin1in any case, the soul flame is in the discipline of pyromancy, therefore nothing prevents you from alternating regular warp fire which disintegrates matter and the soul flame which burns only the soul

Murder drones are like… street to wall level with planetary Hax while Warhammer has Building level to Solar system (coming off with battles wiki…which….I shouldn’t had)
I have nightmares knowledge of warhammer but I do have More about Murder drones
However Cyn hasn’t shown anything combat feats…..while the gray knights seems to have more experience taking on hordes of aliens

@@AntiUttp918I don't know about that since in the more recent episode she got to the planet's core quite fast. I've read some lore on the Grey Knights and yeah they're busted, I don't think Cyn stands much of a chance even if there's only 3 of them.

Now for the criticisms!
1. I doubt the silverbois would bother talking furst.
2. Technically, they'd have no access to the Warp in this universe, so their magic wouldn't work.
3. If anybody thinks a diamantine sword through the noodle would be all it takes to stop Cyn, well...newsflash. That's like poking a voidkraken with a toothpick.
I like the part where J and Tessa are listening at the door and J's worried the Knight-Confessor thinks he's talking about her, only for Tessa to quickly assure her no. Wholesome!
Like I said, go get in touch with the studio. You have too much talent not to lend it to a series you clearly love.

Cyn would win, Worker Drones and other AI will still use Absolute Solver even if they out of energy or something like that, Cyn is most strongest user of Absolute Solver, Worker Drones that use Absolute Solver can't use it during magnets being on their body, due to Episode 6 ( Dead End ), Cyn would use regeneration, and even if she left out of power she would be able to use Absolute Solver, and transform into her other form ( also known as Eldritch phase ), one time used for Eldritch J, The Absolute Solver can't be stopped for Cyn, due to Episode 6 scene when Uzi ( Doorman ) still used Absolute Solver but yellow colored, Cyn posessed her, if Cyn used Absolute Solver on Uzi's Body which was with magnets at that time and she did [NULL] explode or whatever it is, then it means she would really use Absolute Solver even when she is energy off, so Cyn would win.

@@ducnguyenduy5705 Well there are 3 Grey Knights so Cyn didn't have much of a chance plus this was before episode 7 so we didn't know what CYN is really capable of. But if the Absolute Solver went all out then we'll have a fight.
