I couldn't tell you the "story behind the song" because I have absolutely no idea. But just by listening to the lyrics, you'll kinda get it. Sometimes, people go through stuff so bad that they get angry and lose faith; at times, it's even understandable. But some people have "supernatural patience" that no matter how difficult their situation is, they manage to keep up their faith and thank God for the blessings that become obscured by pain. Such people learned this patience from God ...

my mom had cancer to. But she faught it.. I didn't know who flyleaf was at the time cause IDK im stupid because flyleaf is MY fav band now. but I sure wish I did. cause it wouldve helped so much.. and yes it will allbe ok..

No it isn't, it was just a song with a message. The person who was talking about the girl with cancer was just asking for everyone's prayer. Which I and everyone else should try and do.

actually...she lost her voice a long time ago....it was so bad that they were gonna do surgery on it and she asked her church to pray for her and they did. God worked a miracle and helped her get a full recovery. Ain't that the miracle work of god? lmao :P
