i love this song cause i lost a lot of people but when i think of them after listening to this song all i could think of was 'thank you for ending their pain'
When I hear this I turn to the Gospels in my Bible and see what love really means. The way Jesus loves us is true love. Shedding his blood so a person like me, a former drug addict, fornicating and rebellious teenager could be saved by grace. I love this band because I love God and I love good rock. You can have hard rock and singers belting out notes and even screaming them and it still be Christian music. Plus the fact that non Christians and even some non religious people like them for the sound and songs is a tribute to how good they are. The songs can be interpreted however you want whether its your faith, love, loss etc. This band is awesome but Lacey is what made them great. Her voice is truly unique and she can sing with the best.

I only listen to the old Flyleaf. I tried their new album and it didn't cut for me. To me, it lacks depth that Which Lacey gave. And the new one is too pop punk when their other stuff was heavier.

Reminds me of my mom that had a heart transplant back in 2013. Doctors gave her 10 years or so and this song resonates more knowing that her time is coming. It just sucks knowing when you're going to lose someone that's the most special in your life

Not really a religious person, but I love this song. It reminds me of my first love, who did everything in his power to make me believe in people again.

I've looked at a few videos for this song, and instead of people arguing about things about this band or something with flyleaf, it's people spilling there thoughts and problems and others responding with encouragement and sympathy and trying to help.. It's so beautiful that people can and will do this for complete strangers, brought to the same place for the same reason.. I can't even describe the emotion I feel right now from all the love and respect everyone's shown here..

each day is a gift not a given right, even if it's a horrible day we should still be thankful to even have that day. just because your not having the time of our lives doesn't mean go hates you, it just means you need to keep praying and you need to keep to believing. don't lose your faith, don't give up on god, he loves you, even if you don't believe in him.

One of my best friends died recently and ive been depressed until i heard this song, my pain was lifted.
I just got back from seeing my Aunt who has brain cancer.
She's in a nursing home now, and is alone nearly all the time, and it kills me.
Not much I can do about it though, since I'm only 13. I hadn't seen her in about a month, but today I walked in and she motioned for me to go over by her chair, and she laid her hand on my back and just started crying. As soon as I got home (about 20 minutes ago) I automatically went to my room and listened to this.
As Agnostic as I am, and totally silly the story is, it still manages to make me cry. You can feel the sadness/hope in the song so well. And that hits me.
biggestfanever1 I agree, you don't have to be religious to enjoy the song or it's meaning. She sings of having enough supernatural patience to endure through any situation and that's what God's love has done for many people.

this song reminds me of how my step-dad died. he was like my father because my dad and i were never close. Enoch, my step-dad, died of pneumonia. for a long time there i cursed God for taking him away from me, but now that i matured, i realize God put him out of his misery.

you know, i am not even religious and i love this song. It's sung great and frankly, i do think this holds alot of meaning. Also, ik might even be a little jealous of those who do believe, since because of it they learn to accept that these things happen. I'll have a harder time accepting something like this.
this song is really sad because me and my best friend found out yesterday that her friend's grandparents got in a really bad car crash and she was really close to them and her perents wont tell her if they are dead and she is depressed, pleases pray for her....
