Outside of Amy Lee, Lacey is what made me get into women led bands who could just GO with nothing more than pure voice talent. She also led me to Paramore, Lacuna Coil, and Otep. Thank you Lacey😍
Her voice is definitely one of a kind. I think for me it is her passion towards Jesus that is so incredibly displayed every time she sings. It is written all over her face and through her movements. I hope that she continues to use her talent to share the gospel and touch the hearts of others
This song is me...me 6 years ago. Jesus kept me from cutting my wrists, from completing suicide, he saved my life.

I didn't actually appreciate this song until I heard the acoustic version. What an amazing version. I think it really brings out what Lacey is trying to have us feel

I can not imagine that so few people really grasp the full meaning of this beautiful song. She first shares the biggest depths of her life, and in those depths she mets the Truth. She meets this certain person who holds her... She feels the warmth of His embrace, someone who speaks the truth, and tells her who she is in Him.. She meets Jesus. She meets her Savior, our savior. She sees, hears, and feels Him. And then, she praises Him for what He did on the cross 2000 years ago. He saved us...
I love how in the acoustics they don't look so...professional. In this one, they look like it's just kind of a spur of the moment thing, like they're all doing their own things, and they all just fit together so perfectly. I love Flyleaf...Lacey is phenomenal.
Her lyrics are riddled with Scripture and godly encouragement. She speaks the truth openly. She loves God and her family. I have no idea how you could be so awful to a sister in God and I pray you are delivered from your reckless hyper-spirituality and false judgment.

My favorite part of this song is how in tune she is with God. She is literally in a state of worship and communion with Jesus. The way that the Holy Spirit is moving through her is absolutely beautiful to watch. I hope she continues to praise Jesus for all that He has done for her. God bless them.

It is amazing how beautiful her voice is. It's bringing tears to my eyes. And the lyrics. They're so meaningful.

I really dont know the band just like some songs. Could it be that she has some kind of disorder ? I know people with these kind of spasms and they have some sort of a condition.
Shinigami I doubt it she's just a very shy self conscious type of person. it looks like she's channeling her emotions and her imagination into her voice. I feel it every time I hear her voice, it has life beyond tones and notes.

trust me, she does not have a disorder, she's not on drugs. its just who she is- which is why the music is so amazing.
I mean, she’s a devout Christian. Drugs are highly unlikely. She’s just a very expressive and animated singer.

@@m3rcygrl tbf even Lacey changed a lot from releasing the first album to Momento Mori, re-edited a lot of the original songs and toned down the guttural screaming. Was still an awesome album though, just softer.

I used to always sing along with the lyrics but now several years later I'm actually hearing them and listening and understanding them. Amazing!
If their music saves at least one person by telling them they're not alone, and that their illness is understandable. If it reaches out to one person, then how is that not good? Sometimes you need to divert yourself into another pursuit, such as music, to be able to achieve your original intentions.
